Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

Last night I talked to Ernst briefly about the day's hearing.  I am 
waiting for Paul Fromm's vivid court report describing both content 
and atmosphere of yet another legal battle.  His writing always makes 
me feel as though I have been there. 

>From what little Ernst could tell me, for he was very tired and his 
voice gave completely out, it is now crystal-clear that the 
prosecution, NOT the defense, is "Štaking the Fifth."  The CSIS 
spokesperson, Dave Stewart - described as "rail thin", as is his 
"evidence" - was on the stand all day, admitting over and over that 
nothing in the public documents would justify a "security 
certificate" labeling Ernst a "danger to the security of Canada." 
Whatever has been said, was said behind closed doors. 

Star Chamber Redux, as a reporter friend, trying to break into 
mainstream media, has put it.  Poor Canada!

A meaningful defense before Judge Blais, himself a former boss of 
CSIS, seems  now impossible.  It's all in camera "evidence" - not 
accessible to scrutiny to either the defense for rebuttal or the 
public via old-fashioned media.  Ernst says that if he does not 
succeed in presenting this judicial abomination to higher courts 
because the Canadian Jewish Lobby, bragging about how deeply they are 
now ensconced in the Martin Government, succeeds in whisking him out 
of the country, it will be enshrined in Canadian law via precedent - 
and will mean that a secret accusation, backed up by secret hearings, 
can do just about anyone in who crosses the agenda of the Chosen.

On another matter:  I have been furiously working on two fund-raising 
projects because our legal expenses are going through the roof:

*	Some of Ernst's prison sketches are now on-line at 
http://www.zundelsite.org/gallery/donations/index.html  Anybody 
donating $20 or more may pick an 8 1/2 by 11 sketch of his choice. 
Some are quite beautiful and are beginning to be informally traded as 
collectibles.  Others were done under such duress and with such poor 
artists' "tools", their value will be in the circumstances in which 
they were produced rather than in artistic appeal.  I have additional 
ones that need to be enhanced via Photoshop 6 - so if some of my 
readers are artistically inclined and can volunteer their skills to 
enhance these sketches, please let me know, and I will send you some 
scans.  So far, these sketches have financed a large part of our 
legal bills, and I see great potential for them if we succeed in 
"marketing" them to larger audiences, perhaps at conventions.

*	My second fund-raising project is a book I hope to have ready 
to offer to readers in just a few weeks.  Its title is "Setting the 
Record Straight:  Letters from Cell #7" - and it will bring you Ernst 
in his authentic voice.  I am very fond of this project - I know it 
will go a long way in weakening some of the demonization that still 
clings to the Zundel name.  It will not be long, about 80,000 words, 
and I intend to market it inexpensively so people can buy several to 
give away to friends.  I think this book will mark another milestone 
in the stunning, saga-like Zundel struggle.  The manuscript is is 
currently being professionally copy-edited.  I should get it back 
shortly for putting the last touches on it and sending it on to the 
printer.  Get ready to purchase a dozen.

On another topic:  I got up at 2 a.m. this morning to re-read a 
remarkable German-language document of some 30+ pages that Attorney 
Horst Mahler sent to me. Mahler is one of the most knowledgeable and 
courageous men on this earth, battling for the Revisionist cause in 
Germany.  It's titled "Die verbotene Wahrheit" (The Forbidden Truth) 
- and it is the kind of document I wish we had in English.  It is 
"condensed Revisionism" - the absolutely salient points of what 
Holocaust Debunking has achieved and what the revisionist findings 
mean to the world's struggle for freedom from Talmudic oppression. 
It's super!  It comes in pdf format, which means it is printer-ready. 
Unfortunately, I don't have the extra funds to print it up myself, 
but perhaps someone among my readers could do that. 

Those of you who read German, write to me, and I will send you the 
attachment by request.

Below is the latest on Mahler, who faces court himself, supplemented

German lawyer denies Holocaust at incitement trial

By ASSOCIATED PRESS
BERLIN / February 6, 2004

A NOTORIOUS far-right attorney called the Holocaust a lie and cursed 
the German legal system Friday at the opening of his trial in the 
Berlin State Court on charges of incitement.

Horst Mahler, a former leader of the far-right National Democratic 
Party, and two other men are charged with circulating anti-Semitic 
and xenophobic pamphlets on the internet in October 2000.

Mahler is also charged with circulating other pamphlets at the party 
headquarters in 2002 that referred to anti-Semitism as "perfectly 
normal and a sign of solid mental health."

Addressing the court Friday, Mahler, 68, again denied the Holocaust 
had happened.

"It is a lie that we systematically murdered six million Jews," he said.

Prosecutors warned the defendant he faced further charges if he 
continued with such statements, since Holocaust denial is illegal in 
Germany.

The internet pamphlet, titled "Call to Resistance by the Decent", 
urged the government to revoke foreigners' right to live or work in 
Germany.

If found guilty the three men face up to three years in prison, or a fine.

Mahler has appeared in court frequently over the past years for his 
beliefs. Last year a Mainz court found Mahler guilty of condoning a 
crime for saying the September 11 [2001] attacks were justified and 
fined him several thousand euros.

David Irving comments:

THIS is the manner in which the conformist German historians protect 
their famous "consensus". Those who are rightly skeptical about any 
aspect of the legends of World War II are imprisoned or subjected to 
ruinous fines.

    Conclusion: their consensus isn't worth the toilet paper it is 
written on. As Auberon Waugh once famously asked in The Daily 
Telegraph (before it fell into the hands of Conrad Black), What kind 
of historical fact is it that has to be protected by draconian 
measures such as these?

    Historical Truth should be masculine enough to stand on its own 
two feet -- not crawl and cringe behind its "bodyguard of lies."
