ZGram: Where Truth is Destiny and Destination!

October 22, 1999

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

A couple of "good news" items regarding the Leuchter film, which already premiered in Toronto and played in several theaters in British Columbia - apparently to universal acclaim. I haven't heard one negative comment about this film, and so far, the Marxist Mob has stayed away. Surprising to me, actually!

And now it looks like our struggle is really going to be massively known and discussed internationally. People will know that the Holocaust story was forensically investigated - and found wanting. That Roth recants means little - after all, there are still three other reports, more detailed, for scientists to dig their teeth into.

Here are the items:

(Sent by a ZGram correspondent from England)

"Mr. Death screens at the Sheffield UK international documentary festival tonight and Sunday. The film and festival then go on tour. For information ring 0114 275 7727. (From the Friday Review The Guardian Friday October 22 1999)

The second item was sent to me from the Hoffman Newswire:

"Michael A. Hoffman II reports that the movie, "Mr. Death: The Rise and Fall of Fred A. Leuchter, Jr." is scheduled for limited release in Los Angeles and New York beginning Dec. 29, 1999. It will debut in American theatres nationwide on January 28, 2000.

Hoffman quotes the film's advance billing: "This documentary looks at the career of a man whose specialty was designing instruments of execution, including the experiments attempting to disprove the use by the Nazis of poison gas that subsequently ruined his career. "

A bit convoluted, don't you think? It's funny how reviewers dance around this film!

Now for your amusement, three Letters to the Editor, blasting the odious Human Rights Tribunals (National Post, October 21 and 22, 1999):

# 1

* Away with tribunals! Since when has a functioning democracy handed over the right to decide far-reaching social issues to a bunch of unknown political appointees, free of public scrutiny or accountability? The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, with its social engineering bias and arcane language, belongs in the rubbish dump. Return the making of law to Parliament and our elected representatives.

# 2

* Wage Dispute Could Cost Ottawa $5B.

Isn't it wonderful to see the government of Canada being directed by the courts and the human rights tribunals again. Michelle Falardeau-Ramsay, chief commissioner of the Canadian Human Rights Commission, must be ecstatic with her new-found power to direct the government through the court. She even has the arrogance to tell the government not to appeal the decision because it likely won't win.

# 3

* Lesbian Group Fined $3,000 For Snub

I am writing regarding the "human rights" complaint won by the preoperative transsexual against a lesbian women's support group which had turfed him/her from its ranks.

To the members of the group who support statutory "human rights" codes (doubtless most, if not all), I say, "So, how does it feel?"

To everyone else, I would like to point out how ironically and completely this case indicts "human rights" codes. Notice how the group bent over backwards to accommodate the individual in question as a member, despite his still physically being a male. Notice how the group's later eviction of this individual was not based on irrational considerations, but purely on his demonstrated incompatibility with its purpose, shared values and ideas. The eviction was a perfectly justifiable expression of (what should be) the group's right to not associate -- a logical corollary of the right to freely associate.

Thus, "human rights" chill has now spread beyond the workplace, and into non-profit social organizations. What will be next? A Christian suing an atheist organization for "discriminating" against having him as a member?

Notice also, please, that last summer Mr. Zundel has fought these "Human Rights" hyenas to a standstill, at least for the time being - and we don't expect any activity until sometime in April or May of next year. :)
