ZGram: Where Truth is Destiny and Destination!

July 16, 1999

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

For reasons technical today's ZGram has to be short. So I dug into my transom goodies and came up with this little gem to put a wistful smile upon this tattered mess we call our century.

With credits to whoever sent it:

The world of safe sex - is it anything like the world of safe lies?

Safe lies are the kind the newspapers print. The newspapers will faintly praise Joseph McCarthy after having damned him for fifty years.

Safe academics will publish an occasional book questioning whether the Second World War was worth its cost. They will not question the "evil" of Adolf Hitler.

Safe researchers will question the "six million" a little bit. They will not question the "gas chambers".

Safe lies are like safe sex - they prevent unwanted questions and ***unwanted children***.

Thought for the Day:

"Tis the Devil inspires this evanescent ardor, in order to divert the parties from prayer."

(Martin Luther, 1483-1546)
