ZGram: Where Truth is Destiny and Destination!

June 29, 1999

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

One of the more poignant stories Ernst told me some time ago was about his Jewish advisor, Josef Ginzburg, who testified for the defense in the 1988 Great Holocaust Trial, and who was subsequently refused burial next to his wife in the Jewish cemetery in Munich.

Now Ginzburg is buried, surrounded by Christian crosses, in the Waldfriedhof cemetery in Munich. At his funeral, Ernst gave the eulogy and helped bury him there, for his own people would not have anything to do with this old, honest Jew who dared to speak the truth about the Holocaust. (These are the same people who agitated incessantly to tear down provisions which barred Jews from country clubs, gulf clubs, fraternities and Christian schools etc.)

Here is a similarly illustrative story - a tale wherein the Canadian Jewish Congress manages to come off being both anti-Semitic and anti-Christian--and viciously so. This little gem ran in today's issue of the National Post, and it speaks encyclopedias.

Read on - and keep in mind who prattles on forever and a day about "the evils of apartheid".

Jewish cemetery refuses burial to Jew who became a minister

Mourners turned away | Desmond Brown

RICHMOND HILL, Ont. - The body of a Messianic Jew was turned away from a Jewish cemetery yesterday and his 400 mourners locked outside the gate because the dead man had converted to Christianity 40 years ago.

Zundelsite:

Does anybody know of a similar case where a Christian cemetery refused burial of a Jew?

Would not all hell break loose if this should ever happen?

I bet you there are thousands of Jews buried without a squawk in Christian cemeteries.

National Post:

Malvern Jacobs, 71, who died in Toronto on Saturday, was denied burial in the Pardes Shalom Cemetery, north of Toronto.

"This should not happen to anybody," said a distraught Leslie Jacobs, as the hearse containing the body of his father sat in front of the closed cemetery gates.

"This is a violation of the freedom of rights," he said. "My father was born a Jew, he lived as a Jew and he will die as a Jew."

Zundelsite:

Weird statement. The man was already dead. Is he not considered "dead" until he is "gathered to his fathers"?

Mr. Jacobs must have been aware of this arrogant Jewish exclusionary stance. All kinds of deceased people have been unburied from Israeli cemeteries because it was found that they were "desecrating" these Jewish cemeteries as "mere" converts to Judaism.

So what is a Jew? Is the issue religious or racial? Does it matter? Can it be settled in an open forum without hisses and hoots and shrieks of "anti-Semitism"?

National Post:

All three major rabbinical associations in Toronto, which among them represent the entire Jewish community, made the decision to ban Mr. Jacobs' interment during the procession from the funeral home to the cemetery.

"All denominations of the Jewish faith [are] supportive of this ruling," said Keith Landy, chairman of the Canadian Jewish Congress, Ontario region. The CJC spoke on behalf of the rabbinical groups.

Mr. Landy said the Jacobs should have known that burial in a Jewish cemetery would be forbidden.

"It's regrettable that this incident occurred," he said. "As far as we're concerned, Dr. Jacobs was a Christian and should have sought burial in a Christian cemetery."

Zundelsite:

Stripped of all the well-chosen words and civil, soothing phrases, the question presents itself and begs for an answer: How deep would dislike, if not outright hatred, of Christians and Christianity have to run, and how all-pervasive would it have to be, to get an anonymous decision? In such an emotional matter and issue? In such a short time? From all the important religious - including the most important political institution, the CJC, in Canada?

And these folks appeal for "tolerance"? Go to ecumenical meetings? Are members and spokesmen for the Canadian Council of Christians and Jews? Tolerance? Ethnic and religious ***intolerance*** are their stock-in-trade when matters dear to Jewish interests are at stake.

National Post:

Malvern Peter Jacobs considered himself to be a Jew who believed Jesus was the messiah.

Mr. Jacobs, an ordained Christian minister, was born in Toronto to Jewish parents and was the former dean of the department of Jewish studies at the Canada Christian College.

Zundelsite:

So Jewish pressure resulted in a Christian college disbanding a department of "Jewish Studies" where a converted Jew instructed Gentile Christians in the Jewish roots of their faith? How very interesting.

National Post:

"His focus here was to teach Christians about Judaism and about the Jewish roots of Christianity," said Charles McVety, president of the college.

The Jewish studies faculty, however, was disbanded last year after complaints from Jewish community groups.

Zundelsite:

What did he teach that made them so uncomfortable? Could it have been some truly hateful portions of the Talmud? (Hint: Why not do a website search, typing "Talmud"?)

Poor Mr. Jacobs. The zealots and fanatics in control of Jewish affairs in Canada cannot be mollified. Jews are Jews, and Goys are Goys. That's how it is when all the chips are down.

National Post:

"As a Christian minister, you're obliged to share the gospel with all people," said Mr. McVety.

Mr. Landy said Mr. Jacobs' work went beyond simply teaching the word of Jesus Christ.

"From the time he adopted the Christian faith, he spent his time proselytizing and converting Jews to Christianity. That was his life's mission," he said.

"The Jewish faith is 5,000 years old. There are no grey issues here. If somebody goes outside and wishes to proselytize and adopt the Christian faith, then that places them outside the Jewish community," Mr. Landy said.

Zundelsite:

The words are telling. Very illustrative of the Jewish mindset in all matters Jewish. It reminds one - one more time! - that we are facing a mindset here stripped of all camouflage and hyperbole and used to confuse politicians, gullible Christians, sappy courts and a dumbed-down public.

Jewish separatism or separateness, born out of the "we are God's chosen people" mindsets is alive and well as Jews head into their Sixth Millennium!

National Post:

After more than two hours waiting outside the gates of the cemetery, Mr. Jacobs directed the procession back to the funeral home.

He says he will seek a legal ruling to have his father buried in a Jewish cemetery.

"I want my father to have the right, as a human being and as a Canadian and a proud Jew, to be buried in the right manner." <end>

Thought for the Day:

A grave marker in Atlanta's Greenwood Cemetery reads:

"Here rest four bars of soap, the last earthly remains of Jewish victims of the Nazi Holocaust".

Question: Why were these "bars of soap" not buried in a Jewish cemetery? Or were they? Somehow I have my doubts.

Or is it that Atlanta Greenwood Cemetery a useful "integrated" cemetery where a little political propaganda can take place at a time when people are most vulnerable?
