ZGram: Where Truth is Destiny and Destination!

June 17, 1999

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

This morning I had to run a few errands and happened to play one of Ernst's tapes. It was a tape of a radio show with Eddie Greenspan, prominent Canadian Jewish attorney, hosting for Andy Barrie at CFRB on "The Andy Barrie Show" in Toronto, February 23, 1993.

I was shocked at the words and the tone!

I would be hard-pressed to think of another voice that I have ***ever*** heard so dripping with out-and-out venom.

Mr. Greenspan was discussing with Mr. Dimont of B'nai Brith Canada what to do with the Canadian "neo-Nazis"- who, both talk show participants agreed, were not a danger to Canadian society.

Here are some transcribed quotes - and please remember that this was just six years ago - before we ever heard of "Human Rights Tribunals" who are trying to shut up Ernst Zundel for non-existant "hate speech":

Greenspan:

"The subject we're going to deal with is neo-Nazis, hate mongers, these rabid hate mongers, filth of the lowest order, disgusting, repugnant people that happen to live in our midst...What do we do? We live in a free and democratic society where we have to value freedom of expression...that we extend freedom of speech not only to those with whom we agree but those we hate?. . . crypto-fascist, neo-Nazi swine..."

A little later, we hear Frank Dimont of the B'nai Brith, weighing in with suggestions on having the government sponsor a study while waxing eloquent on the need to have freedom of speech. (Remember: This was prior to the Human Rights Tribunal farce where now B'nai Brith acts as intervenor in an attempt to strangle freedom of speech on the Net.)

Dimont to Greenspan:

"...I want to commend you on the outline that you gave...We look upon racism and anti-semitism as a disease..."

Greenspan to Dimont:

"Frank, are you also contemplating that this guy, (name deleted) who I met last night, this pock-faced sicko who hates everybody but himself and his fellow hate mongering friends...are you going to let the (several names deleted)...the Ernst Zundels, the lowest filth on earth, are they all going to testify at this public hearing and get a little free publicity for their sick cause?"

When I came home and checked my fax machine, I found a note from Ernst:

"Today, June 17, 1953, hundreds of thousands of Germans demonstrated against the Communist regime. Hundreds were killed, thousands imprisoned.

"if you can still say something, that would be nice! We have so few freedom fighters in our history. They ought to be remembered."

I called Ernst and asked what happened, since I had never heard of a massacre in Germany, June 17, 1953. Have you?

Ernst told me: "That's why you have me, so I can tell you. It was a spontaneous uprising in East Germany. There were demonstrations for several days - then the Soviets moved in and took care of the demonstrators. Tiannenmen Square? This was ten times worse than Tiannenmen Square."

What does it say about so-called Western "democracy" where two people like Greenspan and Dimont can spew their hate, and even ***call*** it hate, against someone like Ernst - all in the name of "stopping hate mongering"? Who seem to be so driven by hate they can't even see their own contraditions?

What does it say about Ernst that he would ask me to remember - when no one else has either heard of German massacres, or else, has already forgotten?

Ernst said - and it bears repeating: "We have so few freedom fighters in our history. They ought to be remembered."

We have one among us. His name is Ernst Zundel. He will make sure with his last breath that our heroes, our victims, who fought Bolshevism - this monstrous thing that sprang straight from Talmudic mindsets - are going to be remembered.

Let this be known to all the Greenspans and the Dimonds of the world: There's victimhood - and then there's victimhood! Our victims will not be forgotten.

Let that be your Thought for the Day!

Ingrid
