ZGram: Where Truth is Destiny and Destination!

May 15, 1999

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

Many times, Ernst has told me when I became upset about the Balkan War: "This isn't our struggle. We bear no responsibility and, thus, no guilt for it."

And it is true - this is much bigger than the tiny corner determined Revisionists have carved out to fight the Monumental Lie.

But like it or not, the Kosovo War has become part of fighting that Lie, because NATO spokesmen and U.S. leaders keep invoking the Holocaust as a comparison and for "justification".

Therefore, I offer you two points of view from yet two different angles, for there are consequences if wars are fought with blunted understanding.

This mini-essay below was sent from Matt Giwer who brings a soundly traditional, some might even call it "America First" perspective to it.

It is followed by Ernst Zundel's oft-stated premise that what we see today is a ***continuation and direct consequence *** of what happened to Europeans in the wake of World War II, and that Hitler fought the forces of the New World Order and all that it implies before it even had its current name.

(Start of Giwer post):

Upholding cultural icons is not thinking for yourself.

You do not have to oppose but you do not have to support either until you have convinced yourself.

Consider there is not the least skeptism in the US regarding anything NATO puts out.

No US citizen has any obligation to NATO, not loyalty, not allegience, no nothing. In fact just the opposite. Those Keystone Kops were going to protect Europe from Russia? That can only mean Russia IS more bumbling, which is quite difficult to believe.

There is NO patriotism involved in this one-sided war. It is purely a war of aggression by NATO by any definition the world recognizes from the Hague to Geneva.

It is a total violation of US foreign policy since Fullbright (Clinton's mentor) that the internal affairs of another country are not the business of the US. We can go back to "avoid foreign entanglements." And we can modernize it. We do not join foreign organizations where we are not in charge for our purposes.

One of the first international comments from Clinton's first meeting with NATO was that the US was no longer the leader and that there was a power vacuum. That appears to have been filled in this war by England and Germany.

The US is a tail being wagged. Let no American kid himself in that regard. This is Europe's war, for Europe's reasons and the reason most people to came to the US was to avoid the eternal state of war in Europe.

This is another forever-war in Europe. Total victory in Kosovo gives license to the KLA. That means decades of internecine warfare between Kosovars and Serbs, even if only with knives at night.

That means at least a century of occupation. A century sounds ridiculous? We are over a half century in Korea with no end in sight. We are over a half century in Europe with no end in sight. The US will have spent 90 years in Panama with an end in sight.

We are not talking about our children or our grandchildren but our great great grandchildren living with what we do today.

Unless you accept, ". . . he made us hit him" that we would not accept from our children, there is no justification for this one-sided war. Yugoslavia is not at war with us. We, via the foreign alliance of NATO, are at war with Yugoslavia.

Yugoslavia has never fired on NATO save in self defense - and justly so.

I regret Americans are being put in harm's way because of this. But I will not support a politicians war, trying to replace the UN with a warmongering NATO as any kind of serious power in the world.

I have sworn allegience to the Constitution of the United States. When a war is declared, let me know. Until then I have no obligation to treat this as a war. I choose to treat it as the political exercise it is. I can take a lot of dirty tricks as a matter of politics. I do not take murder as one of them.

I know what politics means in this world - an excuse to murder despite the high sounding ideals.

Political power is the power to be arbitrary, to ignore law and constitutions and treaties. That is the demonstration of power we are seeing in Serbia.

This is the power that loses men's souls. It is the precipice into which the mighty will jump."

Says Ernst after I asked for his input:

"Matt Giwer is an American. I am a European. It is no surprise that we would see a war like the Kosovo War through somewhat different lenses. My take on it is that NATO was a creation of the U.S. when European states were reduced to the status of mere economic and military vassals after World War II. Charles De Gaulle recognized that fact, refused to integrate France's forces into it, and kicked NATO out of Paris.

A U.S. foreign policy analyst by the name of Hoagland, quoted in the mass circulation Plain Truth Magazine in the 1970s, already pointed out that NATO was created to keep the Americans in Europe, the Russians out of Europe, and the Germans down inside Europe. To this day, Germany cannot move an ammunition dump from Mannheim to Frankfurt, much less troops inside Germany or Europe, without NATO's approval.

Over 85% of the planes and sorties flown in Serbia are American, not European. Albright and Clinton always talk about U.S. diplomacy having to keep NATO countries in line and on board. It is U.S. reservists who are called up, and it is the U.S. who is allocating huge sums to continue that war. There are many Europeans who would wonder if this was indeed Europe's war - or if it was another New World Order war, just like the war in Iraq.

After all, if Americans fly 85% of the bombing runs in this disgraceful disaster - might one not wonder if this isn't a wake-up call for Americans and Europeans to re-inspect both tail and dog? Who's wagging what? To benefit whom? Who's benefitting militarily, strategically, economically and politically?

There are 4,000 ethnic groups in the world large enough to form states. There are only 181 states in the U.N. - which means there will always be a chance for the proponents of multi-culturalism to enforce their liberal chimera with guns and bombs, if they win in Yugoslavia.

If NATO wins, the military-industrial complex can rub its blood-stained hands with glee, while the mothers weep and babies die." <end>

Thought for the Day:

"The number of hits and visitors at the Truth in Media Web site has been soaring ever since the New Day of Infamy, Mar. 24, the date NATO started bombing Serbia. We have just received the latest statistics about the visitors to our Web site which shows that the number of monthly "hits" is now in the millions, as truth seekers from 80 countries around the world had visited us in just the first 11 days of April. Thank you, truth seekers of the world!"
