ZGram: Where Truth is Destiny and Destination!

April 1, 1999

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

This last ZGram summarizes the "Mexican Standoff" in Poland and elsewhere between Shalom International and angry grassroots Poles, as reported by Dana Alvi of California:

In a previous Shalom International Press release, titled FEBRUARY 25TH PRE-PURIM PROTEST AT POLISH CONSULATE AGAINST 300 CROSSES AT AUSCHWITZ, Bob Kunst had meanwhile given vent to his grievance:

Declaring that "neither the Polish government nor Church has acted against the desecration of Auschwitz by the erection of hundreds of crosses and the presence of a church at Birkenau, Auschwitz's killing grounds", Shalom International announced a pre-Purim protest vigil on Thursday, February 25th, 5:30 pm, at the Polish Consulate, Madison Avenue & 37th Street, Manhattan.

The vigil will be the latest in a series of actions by Shalom International at the Consulate. In face of official Polish inaction, the February 25th vigil will call for economic pressure on Poland until the situation is resolved.

Bob Kunst, SI's founder, stated, "In the Purim megilla, wicked Haman sought to kill all the Jews. At Auschwitz, the memory of over one million Jews murdered by the Nazi Hamans is being exterminated yet again by the crosses and church. We must speak out clearly and decisively against this Holocaust revisionism at (sic) the very symbol of the Shoah. We dare not be silent now."

The latest notice came to the Zundelsite March 24, 1999, dispatched by:

The Polish-American Public Relations Committee, headed by Dana I. Alvi - Chairwoman (P. O. Box 3206 Tel & Fax 310 - 829 -1527, Santa Monica, CA. 90408 E-mail: PAPUREC@aol.com http://www.poland.org/papurec )

CALLING CAPTIVES OF ZIONIST OCCUPATIONAL GOVERNMENTS !

On February 25, 1999, a group of Jews representing an organization Shalom International based in Miami, Florida, arrived at the Polish Consulate in New York City to stage another of a series of demonstrations protesting crosses erected outside of Auschwitz. They were upstaged by a counter-demonstration by Poles and other Christians who displayed slogans informative of Jewish atrocities (...) News of the counter-demonstration encouraged Christians in other countries to similar actions.

Shalom International (SI) plans further demonstrations on April 18 and May 16, 1999 at 1 P.M. at the Polish Consulate, 37th Street and Madison Ave., New York City and at the Polish Embassy in London on the same days. SI is collecting funds to demonstrate also at the "G-8" Summit in Cologne, Germany on June 18-20, 1999

We are CALLING CAPTIVES OF ZIONIST OCCUPATIONAL GOVERNMENTS to join Poles in counter-demonstrations and to take the opportunity to inform the world of Jewish atrocities in the former Communist countries, in the Soviet Gulags, of the famine in Ukraine where also Poles were victims, of the desecration of Christian churches in Spain, torture of the Palestinians and other facts not known by the general public.

Bring hand-held slogans only, nothing mounted on sticks that might be considered by the police as weapons. It is mandatory to apply to a local police for a counter-demonstration permit. In New York City it is the 17th Precinct at 212-826-3211. Fearful of historical disclosures, the Jews might cancel their plans to demonstrate, therefore it is advisable to check with the police whether permits have been issued. (...)

Please note the intensity of hatred towards THE CROSS, Christianity, Catholicism. How quickly Jews forgot that during WWII thousands of them took refuge under the Sign of the Cross. CHRISTIANS WAKE UP !

=====

I am not on any mailing list of American Catholic churches or publications, but I must say that I have not heard a great deal in the mainstream media about this "Polish Crosses War" affair. It is an amazing vignette, with real potential for publicizing the Revisionist message.

The Poles don't have the "Auschwitz monkey" on their backs the way the Germans do - and, hence, they can speak much more freely. Besides, the idea that the Christian Cross should be offensive to the Jews will resonate and find some echoes among cross-denominational Christians.

Watch what will happen next - and if you happen to be in the New York area, why not pick up a big fat felt marker, join in the protest, and make your feelings known?

Ingrid
