ZGram: Where Truth is Destiny and Destination!

March 27, 1999

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

For some time now, I have been watching what is happening in Poland with the "Auschwitz crosses" story. It is a fascinating tale and a burgeoning controversy that seems to be catching fire world-wide.

It started with a group of conservative Catholic Poles who planted some crosses to honor the Polish people alleged to have been "gassed" at Auschwitz. Jewish interests protested, making the fatal mistake of claiming that the sign of the Christian cross "desecrated" the memory of Jewish victims.

The Poles were highly offended, dug in their heels and planted more crosses.

The government felt thumbscrews applied, and ordered to have them removed.

The Poles didn't like that one bit and started making noises while planting additional crosses.

First, there were demonstrations in Poland, then at the Polish Embassy in New York, now spreading to places like Germany and Britain. Simultaneously, a Jewish organization called "Shalom International", headed by a fellow named Bob Kunst, started busily collecting donations.

Soon, accusations and counter-accusations flew.

I am running a series of ZGrams on this controversy, the material and specifics having been sent to me by Dana Alvi, a California-based Polish-American activist. Here is one of her press releases:

CALLING CAPTIVES OF ZIONIST OCCUPATIONAL GOVERNMENTS !

On February 25, 1999, a group of Jews representing an organization Shalom International based in Miami, Florida, arrived at the Polish Consulate in New York City to stage another of a series of demonstrations protesting crosses erected outside of Auschwitz. They were upstaged by a counter-demonstration by Poles and other Christians who displayed slogans informative of Jewish atrocities. News of the counter-demonstration encouraged Christians in other countries to similar actions.

Shalom International (SI) plans further demonstrations on April 18 and May 16, 1999 at 1 P.M. at the Polish Consulate, 37th Street and Madison Ave., New York City and at the Polish Embassy in London on the same days. SI is collecting funds to demonstrate also at the "G-8" Summit in Cologne, Germany on June 18-20, 1999

We are CALLING CAPTIVES OF ZIONIST OCCUPATIONAL GOVERNMENTS to join Poles in counter-demonstrations and to take the opportunity to inform the world of Jewish atrocities in the former Communist countries, in the Soviet Gulags, of the famine in Ukraine where also Poles were victims, of the desecration of Christian churches in Spain, torture of the Palestinians and other facts not known by the general public.

Bring hand-held slogans only, nothing mounted on sticks that might be considered by the police as weapons. It is mandatory to apply to a local police for a counter-demonstration permit. In New York City it is the 17th Precinct at 212-826-3211.

Fearful of historical disclosures, the Jews might cancel their plans to demonstrate, therefore it is advisable to check with the police whether permits have been issued.

Tomorrow: The Archbishop of Los Angeles replies to Bob Kunst.

Thought for the Day:

"There are two life-forces in the world I know: Jewish and gentile (non-Jewish), ours and yours...I do not believe that this primal difference between gentile and Jew is reconcilable. You and we may come to an understanding, never to a reconciliation. There will be irritation between us as long as we are in intimate contact. For nature and constitution and vision divide us from all of you forever."
