Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

In his booklet "Truth and Justice versus Lies and Hatred," Wolfgang Juchem writes:

"Our Wehrmacht stands high above the self-righteous moral indignation of the victorious powers. For almost six years, it held its own on land, sea and in the air against overwhelming odds. The achievements and conduct of the German soldier will one day receive the recognition and honor he deserves.

One day, history will accord all our heroes (...) a fitting place of honor that is their due."

Most people reading this would dismiss it as the maudlin sentiment of losers who cannot get over their loss. The passage takes on a different meaning when one compares the size of Germany to that of her opponents. Take a look at http://www.webcom.com/ezundel/english/misc/german_strength.jpg and marvel that a country that emerged from the defeat of the First World War, survived the devastating Weimar Republic with its filth and corruption of a disintegrating social order - should it not be a miracle that this so recently defeated Germany could rise to such military splendor, march to the gates of Moscow and Alexandra and, with approaching defeat, fight to its last breath, largely with the backing of a populace that had been reduced by Allied bombing to live in ruins like rodents, who watched their children starve, freeze and die, who willingly sacrificed two generations of their finest men - in the defense of a stupefied Europe that either could not or would not understand Germany's desperate fight against Jewish Bolshevism!

Is there not such a thing as chivalry in the face of a defeat against such overwhelming odds?

Juchem writes further on:

"The way in which events between 1939 and 1945 have been purposely portrayed has not changed to this day. Current books and movies give out the impression that the Second World War has not come to an end. The interminable atrocity propaganda that is even being prolonged by so-called "German" television channels which purchase and broadcast products of Soviet and American hate-mongers is intended to create the impression that for six years brutish German soldiers strode through Europe bent only on murder and plunder.

The campaign of lies and slander has not only hurt the German image abroad, but has also drawn up a deep gap between the generations of our people, who have no idea how much they have been deceived in the past decades. They know nothing of the actual causes that led to the Second World War, nor the truth about events that occurred during the war.

The conception they have of the war was imparted to them by Germany's respective opponents."

Recently, I heard once too many the trite and silly argument that, at this point in time, ". . . what does it really matter what happened more than half a century ago?"

My answer was:

"The Jews never tire of telling us it is important to remember "what happened." Their slogan is: "Never forget!" It is with as much justification, and for the same reasons, we Germans insist on the right for "equal time" - to tell our side of the story.

It matters if you care to know you have been lied to systematically and diabolically. It doesn't matter if you want to walk through life pulled by a ring inserted through your nose."
