Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

Today I want to do a heavy-duty pitch for a book that I have mentioned in passing several times before - one of my all-time favorites. It is the mainstream account of Ernst Zundel's Second Great Holocaust Trial, 1988, written by a friend of mine and a very talented writer, Robert Lenski of South Carolina. ("The Holocaust on Trial", Reporter Press, 1990, pp. 544. Available by writing to: Ingrid Rimland, 6965 El Camino Real, # 105-588, La Costa, CA 92009, USA $ 25.- plus $3 if priority mailing is requested)

Those of you who are digging for the bottom of this intellectual struggle for global freedom of speech must understand some of the underpinnings of this struggle, because ever more clearly appears the demonic design that really underlies the predatory industry called Human Rights. As this battle is presently being fought along global dimensions, it is a trial run of New World Order courts to come - and guess who is the "guinea pig"?

I want Zundel supporters to understand exactly what preceded the present-day spectacle and the "truth is no defence" assertion - and how clearly the New World Order scenario outcome was perceived by keen minds, even then when Ernst Zundel started slugging it out with his foes.

Here is a small but telling excerpt from this book:

"What makes the Zundel case an exceptional one in Canadian and North American history is its major impact on two distinct fields: the law and the study of twentieth century history. The full extent of this dual influence is not yet recognized by many observers. As the 1990s dawn, however, it may be stated with some degree of assurance that either:

1. The minority assault on majority civil liberties in Canada and the United States will expand, in which case the Zundel trials will be remembered as the first important battle ground; or

2. The assault will be called off, in which case the tenacity shown by Zundel, Christie, and Faurisson will in time be widely saluted.

Likewise, it may be said that either:

1. The Leuchter Report and other revisionist evidence presented at the Zundel trials will contribute significantly to a much wider acceptance of at least some facets of Holocaust revisionism; or

2. Such mass acceptance will not occur, and yet an important element of the population, in Canada and elsewhere, will embrace it, with unforseeable political and cultural ramifications in an age of Holocaust-centrism - but also of desktop publishing and VCRs.

The case of Ernst Zundel has not reached its final stage. Given that surprise is one of Zundel's hallmarks, it is futile to speculate on his personal destiny. Come what may, he has already made his mark."

Yes - and to think that this was written when the Internet was but a gleam in some god's eye!

Thought for the Day:

"As 1987 waned, "Zundel-Haus" on Carlton Street seemed a quiet place to passersby. Yet appearances deceived. From across North America and beyond, "censorship busters" were arriving in force, sacrificing time and money in hopes of meeting the demands which the New Year would bring."
