Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

I talked to one of the courtroom observers this morning, trying to get a strong pulse of what is happening. I asked, specifically, why there should be a total media blackout on the CHRT-Zundel hearings, even though the government's chief witness was on the stand all week, and even though the hearings are listed on the Internet media bulletin boards for any reporter to see.

This courtroom visitor's interpretation is telling:

1. Folks think the Holocaust Lobby is taking polls - and people do NOT like what's happening. Canadians do not want to lose the Internet to special interest groups' agendas. That is why our enemies are laying low - and why no lapdog reporter dares to show some interest.

2. The feeling is, and here I quote: "Ernst Zundel has been beaten up once too many." People are suffering from overload of hearing stories of Zundel abuse. There are stong indications that many people are now siding with the underdog. Some powerful mainstream editorials actually reflect this.

3. The word is out - the Human Rights Commission is a Talmudic tool - and people are enormously resentful about having their tax money squandered that way!

4. Finally, and this is very interesting: Tribunal Chairman Pensa is seen as "a very smart man, a very clever man" who realizes that this is larger than anyone had bargained for - and he is trying to contain it.

Hence, rulings that are not supposed to trickle out via mainstream media are being kept under very tight wraps. In fact, the feeling is that Pensa is leading the intervenor lawyers because he has a better grasp than they do on what is happening and why certain content is not to get into the volatile masses.

One such ruling that came down toward the end of last week can really blow you away: The Tribunal has restricted what the Zundel defense can say and ***whom they can quote***.

Says Ernst: "They have restricted us to using 'hypotheticals', as they call it."

Get this: The opposition actually fears ***references***!

Doug Christie is not allowed to use authors' names, or publishers names even - which at one point led to the grotesque Kafkaesque situation where Doug Christie wanted to ask the government's chief witness, Dr. Schweitzer, about the infamous quote by Elie Wiesel in his book "Legends of our Times" - the one where the ever-so-doleful Wiesel expresses his Talmudic hatred for Germans by stating that every Jew should nourish "virile hatred" for what is German and "what persists in the German. . . " and Doug Christie put that snake right on the table. At that point, Dr. Schweitzer, for a second a bit on the dense side, said helpfully: "Yes, I am familiar with that quote..." at which point the chairman of the Canadian Rights Tribunal actually had to admonish his own witness by saying:

"Dr. Schweitzer, ***you are to assume, not to surmise***, whom he is quoting . . ."

Can it get more grotesque?

I shall now quote while I still can - straight from The Seventh Million" by Tom Segev. This quote is taken at random from many that were introduced. This particular quote is a reflection of a "Reparations Debate" the Chosenites held at one point a few years after the war, and the person who culled it for the Zundel Team had titled it: "Where will you get six million more Jews?"

Here is the actual Segev quote:

"In March 1952, just days before the negotiations with Germany began, Johanan Bader said: "Suppose they pay you for six million Jews, but when the reparations period is over . . . where will you get six million more Jews so that you can get more money?" This comment completed the question that Arieh Ben-Eliezer had presented to Mapai a few months before, when it became known that Germany was going to pay Israel not in cash but in the form of goods. "Will these German products include soap produced from human bodies?" Ben-Eliezer asked. Haim Landau called out in Yiddish to Shmuel Dayan (Mapai): "A glik hot unz getrofen (". . . a great fortune has befallen us") - six million Jews were murdered, and we can get some money." (pp222, 223)

So that gives you a taste what the Holocaust Promotion Lobby does not want people in the streets to know.

I have a suggestion where they can get another six million - well, almost.

The story has it on the Net that Matt Giwer goaded Nizkor long enough to double the six million they had originally claimed as victims on their home page - just to demonstrate how easy it was to claim extra millions and how, at the stroke of a pen, "victimhood" could double. And sure enough - overnight the six Nizkor million had inflated to a hefty eleven Nizkor million! I haven't visited there for a long time - but go ahead and check. Chances are the resurrected-out-of-nothing extra five Nîzkor million "victims" are still there.

More to come tomorrow. Meanwhile, I want you to ponder thoroughly what it has done to scholarship in Canada that a Human Rights Commission ruled last week ***against*** the use of references!

Thought for the Day:

"Polite discussion with or about America's destroyers has accomplished exactly nothing over the past hundred plus years except further appeasement and compromise. The Left knows that and counts on it. We know it, too. That is why gratuitous politeness with the Left, or accepting their lexicon, or being tolerant of their hateful ideas, is not an option in these editorial pages."
