Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

This is a partial report from yesterday's Hoffman Wire. (Subscribe to it; it's substantive! <hoffman@hoffman-info.com> )These excerpts continue to show the inroads that Revisionism is making in the Arab countries.

Ahmed Rami, mentioned below, is a former Moroccan military officer of an elite tank unit. Rami went into exile in Sweden after a failed military coup against the feudalist King of Morocco in the 1970s. He is now a writer and broadcaster who presently runs Radio Islam out of Stockholm, Sweden, and who operates a website ( http://abbc.com/islam) that has also been censorially attacked by the self-appointed, well-known Zionist censorship forces - an attack that has been successfully fought off for the time being.

The report below also illustrates how Roger Garaudy, dubbed the Reluctant Revisionist, has become the "tool of destiny" with his publication "The Founding Myths of the Israeli Policy, a runaway bestseller in the Arab countries, in which he shows up the Holocaust as an extortion tool used cleverly by Israel. Here's Michael Hoffman II:
"Roger Garaudy . . . is still a fascinating intellectual; 84 and on the front lines, with all his wits about him.

Why not an interview with Garaudy in the pages of the N.Y. Times or the L.A. Times?

Not on your life. He and his book are censored in those outlets. Habent sua fata libelli ("The fate of the work illustrates its argument").

For true freedom of the press we have to go to Cairo!

Ahmed Rami has launched Ernst Zündel's most famous book "Did Six Million Really die" at the "International Book Fair" in Cairo (Feb. 5 to Feb.18, 1998) through one of Egypt's biggest bookshops - "Madbouli".

A full page review on the book was published in Egypt's biggest and official daily paper "Al Ahram". Since Garaudy's book is so well known throughout the Arab world, it was rather easy for Ahmed Rami to launch the distribution of Ernst Zündel's works. Ahmed just explained: "It's about the subject Garaudy focused on. However, there is one basic difference: Garaudy first studied Ernst Zündels »Did Six Million Really Die« and only then he wrote his own book. In other words, Garaudy's book is based on Zündel's fact book" (the Zündel trial).

Ahmed Rami was also interviewed by the weekly "Al Shaab". "Al Shaab's" circulation has exceeded far more than one million by now and is read throughout the Maghreb. The two page interview with Ahmed focused on the gas chambers and on the control of the Western world by the Israel lobbies.

On February 11, Garaudy came to Cairo on invitation by the Ministers of Culture and Information. Garaudy elaborated on Feb. 15, 1998 in an one hour TV-interview the "gas chambers" and the "six-million" subject. Being asked how it was possible that history was fabricated for such a long time, Garaudy answered: "95 percent of the medias in the western world are controlled by the Israel lobby".

On February 18, Ahmed Rami gave an interview to "Radio Teheran International" (French section). In this interview again, Ahmed passed on in-depth information on the holocaust gas chamber story. He also reminded the Iranian journalists that only in 1996 nearly 6000 people were persecuted in Germany for expressing their opinion on this subject and for criticizing the German government. He asked Radio Teheran to make the cases of Günter Deckert and Udo Walendy known to the entire Middle East. (NJ-AR 20.2.1998)"

Additionally, the Hoffman Wire reported:
THIS JUST IN FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT IN FRANCE:

I just got a call from Ahmed Rami. He bought all the Arabic papers he could find and all of them are appalled by Roger Garaudy's conviction. Here is one example, taken from the front page of today's "Al Ahram", the big Egyptian daily:

"Roger Garaudy blames the French police for being in collusion with the Jewish extremists.

"Teheran. Press Agency. "French Muslim thinker Roger Garaudy said he had anticipated the court fine which requires him to pay 120,000 Francs, because he is convinced that Jews are the people who make legislation in France.

"In a declaration made to Radio Teheran, Mr Garaudy said he was going to continue fighting against the Gayssot law, the law which he was accused of violating.

"Asked about the attacks against the Egyptian journalists, Roger Garaud
y answered: 'It is obvious that the French police are in collusion with the Jewish extremists . . ."

Postscript: I must add that the booklet "Did Six Million Really Die? was not written by Ernst Zundel, of course, but by Richard Varell, alias Harwood. It was only published by Samisdat in the Canadian edition. There are now over 18 different translations available of that booklet world-wide! Also, much of the Garaudy book was content from previous Dr. Robert Faurisson's work.

The book promoted at the world's largest Arabic-language book fair was Barbara Kulaszka's massive and definitive book by a similar title, "Did Six Million Really Die? Report of the Evidence in the Canadian 'False News' Trial of Ernst Zundel - 1988".

In other words, this book was not written by Ernst Zundel, but about Ernst Zundel - an error commonly made. It is available for $50 plus $7 postage from Samisdat, 206 Carlton Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5A 2L1.

Thought for the Day:

"On a visit to a European capitol I saw signs that read 'We are all Palestinians.' In a plaza adorned with the flags of most nations, our flag and the Israeli flag were missing."
