Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

The censorship forces trying to shut down the Zundelsite are really pulling out all stops. For that, there are direct and indirect signs.

Let's just say that it is telling that media coverage of Friday's rather dramatic developments was minimal, and that the Holocaust Promotion Lobby lawyers decided not to even bother cross-examining the author of one of the affidavits which the Zundel defense legal team filed.

I may be wrong, but I read these two "omissions" - which, normally, the censorship gang would have exploited to the hilt! - as a sign that the CHRC strategy may have been abandoned in favor of even stronger ammunition.

If it takes an atom bomb to blast away the "Hiroshima" of the Internet - then that's what these censorship terrorists are likely going to drop. And never mind the fall-out that will claim free speech casualties in cyberspace for years and years to come!

I have prepared a series of 5 condensations of what was said in the preliminary CHRC hearings May 26 and 27. It is strong legalese, but EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to have this be on the record. This series will start Saturday.

That's all I want to say for now - except to say that the last time I checked, there have been 11,924 Zundelsite documents accessed in a 24 hour period. This constitutes more than a 300% increase!

Below please find a typical letter sent by an angry reader in response to the censorship war. I think it says it all:

Subject: "Hate" sites on the net...."

"Here's what I want to know:

Why do ALL of you media types rely on the No. 1 "Hate Group" in the country, the ADL, whenever you run a "story" on "hate groups?"

The ADL is the greatest source for bigotry and racism in this country, and yet everyone quotes them hook, line and sinker, w/o batting an eye.

Anyone who disagrees with them is labeled a "hate monger." I'm sick of this 1984, Animal Farm, Orwellian technique.

A few days ago you mentioned one of these "hate cites"

http://www.webcom.com/ezundel/index.html

Well I went there and read thru most of his material. Okay, so most people disagree. So what?

What exactly makes speech "hate" speech? Because most people disagree with it?

The person who put up that site presented his case w/ his beliefs and why he believed them. He used no vulgarities, nor threats, nor advocated any violence.

Yet, you and the ADL, label this a "hate site?"

Is this what our world has come to: Anyone who disagrees w/the "status quo" or "accepted truth" is made to suffer the very ills he or she is accused of promoting?

Are we so insecure in our own self worth that we feel the need to lash out at anyone who challenges our beliefs?

If the mere challenge to an accepted "fact" elicits an antagonistic and attacking response, like those of the ADL and "Southern Poverty Law Center", that indicates to me they aren't so sure of the facts themselves.

I remind you, and my fellow Americans, of Thomas Jefferson's words:

'If there be any among us who [disagree], let them stand undisturbed as monuments of the safety with which error of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it.' (From Jefferson's 1st Inaugural Speech)

Do you believe in these words or don't you?"

Thought for the Day:

"Once again, our government is aping Joseph Stalin and his successors. Aping? Our government IS Joseph Stalin's successor."
