Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

Three days ago, a press release went out of the Zundel-Haus. This press release speaks for itself:

"The Coalition of Jewish Organizations of Greenwich, CT, will host a lecture by Ranan L. Lurie, internationally syndicated journalist, entitled "The Holocaust: Shocking New Facts."

It will be held on September 16, 1997 at Temple Sholom, a local Greenwich synagogue, beginning at 7:30 P.M.

According to the Greenwich Post,

"The lecture will include Lurie's interview with Rudolf Hess's son who disclosed to him how Hitler tried to blackmail the British into peace by warning them about the forthcoming Holocaust, a press release from the organizers said."

Wolf Rüdiger Hess, the still living and only son of Rudolf Hess, contacted (by the Zundel-Haus) in Munich on 9 September 1997, had this to say about this claim by Lurie:

"I remember it well. Mr. Lurie tried to persuade me during the interview to the statement he now attributes to me, which I rejected out of hand.

A certain discussion ensued, during which I said, among other things, that I had no knowledge of an order by Hitler to commence a Holocaust against the Jews. There never was any discussion about my father, Rudolf Hess, having an order or the authority, or having been requested by Hitler, to threaten or blackmail the British with an impending Holocaust of the Jews.

The claim made by Mr. Lurie is, therefore, totally false and absolutely untrue."

Thought for the Day:

"Who needs proofs when you have moral outrage?"
