Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

I am thinking extravagant thoughts. I have just spent an hour - very early in the morning, as is my Aryan habit - getting ready for the day by savoring my Colombian coffee coursing through my veins and thinking of my mission in this ever-growing battle field, which I have come to think of as ". . . full-blown World War III."

No smirks, please, when I tell you that World War III had its official start with the cyberwar showdown over the Zundelsite in January of 1996 - January 10, to be exact. Mark it on your calendar!

That was the day when the Simon Wiesenthal Center through its fellow travelers and friends in highest places showed its true face and its true claws for the first time for all the world to see and tried to impose censorship on light - and, in response, the Blue Ribbons appeared all over the world on the computer screens!

I don't know how many websites existed globally in January of last year, but somewhere I read that 7% of them participated in the Blue Ribbon campaign and told the enemy: "Paws off the Internet!" One might make the argument that 7% of 60 million or so is not a handful, even compared to the world's population of some 6 Billion. Seven percent of sixty million or whatever isn't bad!

One of the sweetest by-products ever since has been that intellectuals have found their way to us - and vice versa. This is a battle of mind against mind, not rifle against rifle. It is light against dark - in the literal as well as the symbolic sense.

And since, at this time, there is only a handful of us on the side of light, openly and boldly, there is still a lot of heckling coming our way. And what do we do, in response? Engage in counter-heckling?

Not me, if I can help it!

My weapon, for the most part to almost any provocation, has been an icy and contemptuous silence. As a matter of principle, I don't answer hate mail unless answering such mail is clearly strategically useful, and I have steadfastly refused to let myself be dragged into the sewer of the newsgroups such as alt.revisionism - despite a lot of name calling, taunting and worse.

Boy, have I ever won my victories with silence!

In fact, I take great pride in having made a science out of perfecting permafrost! Siberia - that's Ingrid!

Andrew Mathis, Internet writer and producer and not exactly in my orbit, since he likes smut and I do not, commented on our movement's silent intellectual strength in an article on "The Fifth Era":

"In the early days of the Internet, Usenet discussion groups were the realm of the white nationalist movement. Specifically, four newsgroups - alt.politics.nationalism.white, alt.politics.white-power, alt.skinheads, and alt.revisionism (the last dedicated to Holocaust denial) - have been the stomping grounds for racist activists . . .

Not only are these individuals and groups able to present their point of view unquestioned, but they are finally able to reach millions of people at a very low cost. . . . (they) produce snappier Web pages, which show America that they can be intelligent people with arguable points of view, and not inbred rednecks just looking for scapegoats. (...)

The days of leafleting cars in parking lots and printing newspapers for subscribers are clearly over."

He is so right! More and more comrades all over the world are recognizing this - that we have arguable points of views well worth their intellectual curiosity, which in good time turns to respect. It works like a charm, every time!

One such committed fighter was recently discovered by me - or vice versa. I forgot how we connected, but now we exchange comradely electrons like mad.

This man is one of those rare journalists on our side - for the most part; I think he's still wary of Hitler :) :) - within the mainstream media, shooting his sorties every which way within conventional channels. I wish that there were more of them, because we sorely need our people in media behind the front lines, to make inroads.

Here is a story he told me last night I am now shipping to you as yet another mental picture for you to stash away beneath your mattress for inner sustenance and succor:

"I don't know how many of you have had a chance to travel through the deserts of the Southwest (of America). But, let me tell you, Arizona and Southern California are full of bikers.

No, these are not your "Tour d'France"-type bikers. These are the bearded motorcycle characters who carry guns, chains, knives, and usually travel in gangs. They look like the real "mean dudes." Or, as a friend of mine, a former Green Beret, called them -- "bad actors".

Well, try visualize a little truck stop in the middle of the desert. A truck driver walks into the restaurant and orders a hamburger, a cup of coffee and a piece of pie.

As he sits down to eat, three rough looking bikers also come in. One grabs his hamburger and begins to eat it. Another picks up his coffee and spills it on the floor. The third one takes a bite our of his pie, then mashes the rest on the plate.

The truck driver says nothing, gets up, pays the cashier and leaves. One of the three bikers turns to the cashier and says:

"Not much of a man, is he?"

"Not much of a driver, either", replied the cashier. "he just ran his truck over three motorcycles."

Pass the moral of the story if you will, please, to where it will do the most good.

So what if our enemies have got the gangs and chains and knives and motorcycles? So what if they still think that they can heckle us - and get away with it?

We've got a mighty truck.

Ingrid

Thought for the Day:

Political Correctness is simply Communism repackaged to make it acceptable to the West."
