Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

I am still mopping up after an absence of almost a week. Below are seven items worthy of notice - not necessarily offered in their order of importance.

· First, as you will remember, people around the world could listen to the President of the United States live on the Zundelsite. For those who missed this golden opportunity, here are some Clinton homilies as uttered last week in San Diego.

Without apologies, this morning I select the ones most relevant to us:

". . . Today we celebrate your achievements at a truly golden moment for America. The Cold War is over and freedom is now ascendant around the globe, with more than half of the people in this old world living under governments of their own choosing for the very first time. . .

". . . I believe the greatest challenge we face . . . is also our greatest opportunity. Of all the questions of discrimination and prejudice that still exist in our society, the most perplexing one is the oldest, and in some ways today, the newest: the problem of race . . . "

". . . Within the next three years, here in California no single race or ethnic group will make up a majority of the state's population. Already, five of our largest school districts draw students from over 100 different racial and ethnic groups. . . "

". . . A half-century from now, when your own grandchildren are in college, there will be no majority race in America . . . Now, we know what we will look like, but what will we be like . . . ?

". . . Let me say that I know that for many white Americans, this conversation may seem to exclude them or threaten them . . . Don't you think you have learned a lot more than you would have if everybody sitting around you looked just like you. . . ?"

". . . No responsibility is more fundamental than obeying the law. It is not racist to insist that every American do so. Over the coming year I want to lead the American people in a great and unprecedented conversation about race . . . "

". . . I am a Scotch-Irish Southern Baptist, and I'm proud of it. But my life has been immeasurably enriched by the power of the Torah . . ."

Sorry! I couldn't help myself!

· Secondly, within an incredibly complex and complicated June 21, 1997 feature in the Globe and Mail entitled "Credibility to go on trial" - dealing with the Jewish push within judicial channels to get the government to move on non-existent "war criminals" and to deport them speedily before they die - I finally discovered the gist of it all, as summarized in this delectable quote:

". . . People start to say, 'Does it pass the sniff test? What lies behind this? This doesn't add up. Are there some other reasons that weren't recorded?'"

· Third, according to an article in the Spotlight, June 23, 1997, Swissair, the national airline of Switzerland, has stopped passing out famed Swiss chocolate wrapped in gold - made to look like Swiss "gold bars".

Why? Some Jewish passengers complained about the wrapping found to be "disturbing", according to a spokesman for the airline. The wrapping reminded these Jewish passengers that gold bars

". . . Switzerland bought from Germany during World War II came from rings and dental fillings of Jews who died in wartime relocation camps."

· And speaking of the Swiss and their collision with the Jews: A Jun 16, 1997 Reuter release, written by Michael Shields tells us that

". . . (i)nfluential American diplomat-cum-banker Richard Holbrooke urged Switzerland on Monday to start paying funds to Holocaust survivors at once to help resolve the 'crisis' in U.S.-Swiss relations."

This worthy diplomat, vice chairman of Credit Suisse First Boston bank

". . . urged Swiss officials not to get bogged down in a debate over historical details and instead to get money flowing to victims.

"We have to face the fact that this is not just another problem,'' said Holbrooke, a former U.S. assistant secretary of state.

"This is the most serious problem between our two countries at least since the end of the Second World War and perhaps in history. . . The fact is, it is a crisis.

"Delay only serves the purposes of those people in the United States and elsewhere . . . who wish to make this into something other than what it is. . . (A)n argument over the historical details is of no value to solve the problem.''

· Fifth point: From a source as unlikely as Gore Vidal comes the following quote in a foreword to Israel Shahak's "Jewish History, Jewish Religion" [p. vii-viii]

"I will say that the hasty invention of Israel has poisoned the political and intellectual life of the USA, Israel's unlikely patron.

"Unlikely, because no other minority in American history has ever hijacked so much money from the American taxpayers in order to invest in a 'homeland'.

"It is as if the American taxpayer had been obliged to support the Pope in his reconquest of the Papal States simply because one third of our people are Roman Catholic.

Had this been attempted, there would have been a great uproar and Congress would have said no.

But a religious minority of less than two per cent has bought or intimidated seventy senators (the necessary two thirds to overcome an unlikely presidential veto) while enjoying support of the media."

· Tidbit Number Six, published in Emmanuel Ratier's "Faits & Documents" of June 15 1997:

Some sleuthing by the "anti-racist" lobby discovered to their horror or delight - whichever the case may be - that the keys of the cars made by Volkswagen-Audi Company still carry the 'AH' initials.

VIPs at the head office are said to be "incapable" of giving any good explanation. It seems those letters are those of none other than Adolf Hitler, who had inaugurated the first Volkswagen factory in 1934 after having sketched the first 'Volkswagen' car - fine artist that he was.

· And, finally, a new development ancillary to Ernst's struggle with the Toronto ARA, the Anti-Racist-Action hoodlums who have beset the Zundel-Haus for years with filthy demonstrations and threats of bodily harm.

These neo-Marxist thugs, who have been implicated in the fire-bombing of the Zundel-Haus two years ago, have recently brazenly advocated world-wide arson against Domino's Pizza, a well-known fast food chain described by them as "incredibly racist".

This call for terrorist action on their website is based on an advertisement that is said to have run in Guatemala, of all places, likening potential Domino's Pizza customers to working blacks who ". . . naturally will eat like cannibals."

According to ARA logic, this admittedly poor public relations gaffe is ". . . yet another reason to torch every Domino's pizzeria on the planet."

Why do we mention this? Because it doesn't hurt our cause to rub it in - THE COMPANY THEY KEEP:

Thanks largely to Canadian taxpayers' largesse, the ARA as a criminal, documented terrorist organization has been publicly endorsed and supported by leaders of the League for Human Rights of B'nai Brith, the Simon Wiesenthal Center, Mrs. Sabina Citron and her organization, the Canadian Holocaust Remembrance Association, the Toronto Mayor's Committee on Community and Race Relations, AND the Canadian Human Rights Commission.

Need we point out that the above-named individuals and organizations are ALL involved in the laying of a complaint against Ernst Zundel and your worthy flagship Zundelsite - accused of being "dangerous"?

Find me a Zundelsite document that advocates torching a business - much less a world-wide chain!
We solemnly urge the Human Rights Commission Kommissars to get busy protecting Domino's Pizza customers by hauling these ARA ruffians and their mobster supporters before one of their so-called "Tribunals." Let them defend not just their words - but their actions.

Ingrid
