Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

Now that I am getting my bearings - back in California from two eventful weeks in Canada where the Zundelists rallied around me as though I were a kamikaze pilot dressed for a suicidal mission - I want to give you an update and have a hard time deciding just where I should start.

There is so much to say - about the shifting nature of our struggle, the broadening ideological front, the spiritual core of the conflict, the prospects for a victory, the "armies" on both sides.

In weeks to come, you'll get an earful - and then some. I promise.

We are at the cusp. We are one lucky bunch of intellectual warriors to help craft the next century. Will some of us be hurt? Of course. Freedom from serfdom based on thought control has never come to decent people on a smooth, polished silver platter.

Soi let me start, for our many newcomers, by sketching where we are.

Ever since the first cyberspace war in January/February of 1996, unleashed by an announced "debate" between the Zundelsite and Nizkor that flushed the Simon Wiesenthal Center into the open as major, self-appointed censor of the Internet, the Zundelsite has been the target of massive, global censorship - a world-wide coverup-in-the-making. Your own beloved website called the Zundelsite is seen as the archetypal symbol of the politically ever-so-incorrect Revisionist point of view of history.

Our mission statement says it all: We challenge the Holocaust Hoax.

We are neither the largest nor, in my opinion, the best of Revisionist or even National websites in terms of quality and quantity of content because I can't do it all alone. I am swamped with the work to be done. There are others out there - so many of you! - magnificent comrades compiling majestic, baronial stockpiles of intellectual weaponry. Take CODOH. The IHR. The Swedish and French Revisionist websites. The hundreds of European, Nationalist websites. The many, many patriotic websites in the USA and all over the world that I have never had the time to read, so overwhelmed am I by just keeping one half-step ahead of the tide.

We are just one of them. We try to be respectable, calm, rational, competent, prompt and considerate. No one would bother us, were it not for the Zundel name.

And now I want to tell you why it is that I have set a mission for myself from the beginning that, as a writer, I would get busy forcefully and do what writers do. With the authentic tag of a well-known Revisionist pioneer, Ernst Zundel of the Zundel-Haus, located in Toronto, Canada, I would hone, focus, chisel, clarify and expand the Revisionist message and translate to the world precisely what we say - and what we do not say.

I know how to do it. I am a presence on the Internet. I have no axe to grind politically for my own benefit and have no burning aspiration whatsoever to find myself in the political realm - except to do what I was always taught to do: To speak up when I saw another human being maligned and hurt unjustifiably.

I met a kind, soft-spoken yet intellectually tough Mr. Zundel in September of 1994 at the International Conference put on by the Revisionist Institute for Historical Review. Up to then, I had only known him vaguely as a name from a few tapes and two or three newsletters I thought were poorly done from a stylistic point of view.

I saw immediately that here was a man with uncanny political instincts, a heart as wide as the horizon, a dogged resolve to have his say his way and etiquette be damned - and pinned against an opposition with its claws in the taxpayers' pockets so as to pour unlimited resources into a craven media behaving like a pack of jackals, just tearing him apart as "Nazi," "Neo-Nazi", "hate monger", "liar", "zealot", "freak" - what-have you.

Up to then, we hadn't exchanged fifty sentences. I said to him: "I'll give you America. Wait and see." I also said: "The only other thing I have to give you is my name. I led a decent life. There's not a speck of dirt on me. What can I do for you?" and Mr. Zundel answered with a question: "Why don't you start a website?"

A what?

In 1994, I had not even heard the word. The concept meant nothing to me. In fact, at first I was reluctant to put my toe into the current of that swirling thing called Internet. I remember how frightened I was. I am not "technically endowed", believe me.

I talked to friends who were computer-savvy. I took two courses and read many how-to books on Internet websites, e-mail, HTML coding, techniques of picture- and text posting etc. Slowly but surely, step by step, I began to learn the rudiments of this revolutionary global information network and technology.

On New Year's Day of 1996, I started shooting my ZGrams. And nothing was ever the same.

The story, from a legal point, is this: From its inception, I crafted, polished, groomed and edited the Zundelsite. I live and breathe the Zundelsite. I have the password to the Zundelsite. I say what goes and what does not go on the Zundelsite. I do all e-mail for the Zundelsite. I AM the Zundelsite.

And I am an American citizen protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution.

So there.

It's true that I consult with Ernst. It's true that he supports my efforts, financially and with advice. I could never have done it alone. On my own, I would never have chosen this path, because it is not in my nature to do political activist work. I am a stylist, first and last - an Aryan writer cognizant of words and thoughts as our ONLY weapons.

Ernst knows vastly more than I do in terms of Revisionist facts. He has a solid record of astounding victories against a lethal foe, a memory that doesn't quit, although he says that something happened to his memory after the trauma of the fire and the bomb. He has his share of scars from prior battles entitling him to recognition and respect among the finest of our intellectual warriors. He has a history of near-satanic persecution for beliefs and opinions - constitutionally protected and legitimate in any civilized and well-bred country where people are allowed to question anything! - and, most of all, a slant on World War II from the perspective of a German point of view that is not only his right but also a moral command.

That's why it is the Zundelsite and not the Rimlandsite. And that's how it will stay.

I chose the name out of respect for one brave warrior for truthful German history and honor where there are few and far between big enough to stand up and be counted. I never even asked if I could use the name. I never asked if I could use Ernst's logo - it just felt right to me. It all seemed simply natural and logical. And if they shut me down in Canada by a decree of the Canadian Human Wrongs Tribunal, then it will be the Censored Zundelsite for Canada.

For almost two years, I have collaborated with Ernst Zundel on some but no means every project for the Zundelsite. I would love nothing better than to keep right on collaborating with Ernst Zundel - as closely as I can and just as often as I can. But if the Holocaust Promotion Lobby manages by hook and crook to shut me down in Canada - not one iota will anything change pertaining to the Zundelsite, provided that the First Amendment to the US Constitution holds.

That's where the front will shift. And should it come to that, I will just write a eulogy to Freedom. I will point out Repression - Canadian/Soviet Style.

At that point, I will be on my own - with your help. Your input. Your prayers. Your money. The target of a vicious, unrelenting persecution will then no longer solely be Ernst Zundel, Canadian "villain extraordinaire" but also Ingrid Rimland, a US citizen.

And it will be a different ball game altogether.

I am your next door neighbor. I have a name in my own right that never was political. I am your typical hard-working, proud, accomplished, hardy German immigrant. And I am not a man.

It was easy to demonize, vilify, slander, , beat, burn, bomb and even go so far as to attempt to murder a man who was tarred with the brush of "Neo-Nazi" ever since he threw his glove into the political ring and dared to run on populist themes embodying protection of his ethnic group against enormous vested interests - with $5,000 in his pocket, way back in 1968! And even then, in the clear face of a symbolic gesture - for how could he have won as a young immigrant against the well-financed and well-connected Pierre Trudeau, the consummate and totally beholden Liberal? - our enemies have feared this man!

And how they tried to shut him down while he was speaking for his kin! For years and years they tried! And now that they have run out of all options in Anglo-Saxon jurisprudence style, it's going to be Soviet style "Tribunals" misnomered "Human Rights" - where truth, so we are told, is now irrelevant? And, furthermore, is no defense?

No kidding.

They are rich, and we are poor. They are many, we are few. But we play straight and they play crooked. Vile. And they will be more ruthless than we could ever be.

Regardless.

It will not be as easy to do to a woman what they did to a man called Ernst Zundel. I am a simple human being of German ancestry, now an American, who will speak out that there's a rotten, stinking carcass called the "Holocaust" the people have a perfect right to ask to be autopsied SCIENTIFICALLY in front of an impartial jury - not merely organized Jewry! - so that, once and for all, some fresh air be restored to our world, along with freedom from terror - a palpable fear and terror! - which now permeates all discussions surrounding the Holocaust topic.

The Zundelsite will do its part to bring you Liberation through Truthful Information. The Zundelsite is here to stay for just such a campaign.

Ingrid

Thought for the Day:

"Do not be amazed at the 'hum' of the Jews. It is mentioned in the Book of John 6:41, and Jesus warned them: 'Murmur not among yourselves.' v. 43."
