As I am writing this, I should have been on my way to the airport to
do a lecture at a Christian women's college that was spooked by the powers-that-be
at the very last minute and canceled my appearance.
The reason given was the Zundel-taint - specifically, my ZGrams.
I have already done three media interviews on this development, and I suspect
there will be more, since one of these went on the wire. I thought this
morning that in future media interview the theme on our part should be NOT
". . . defamation of the dead" but ". . . defamation of the
living."
I have now been not just officially defamed the sleazy Nizkor way one might
ignore, considering the source, but financially hurt in documentable ways
by a reputable private college in ways one cannot easily ignore - an act
of Holocaust Promotion Lobby coercion that will have proper weight in future
litigations which are the lot of all Revisionists of certain "fame",
it seems.
Not all is lost, however. That's how our cause gets known.

reflex fashion against those who dig deep - and who are willing to speak

Meanwhile, here is the press release out of the Zundel-Haus I promised you
yesterday just before I gave up the ghost for the night. It is in response
to last Sunday's "Sixty Minutes" smear on Canada. A telling piece
broadcast by the world's best-known television feature magazine!
First Switzerland - followed by Sweden, France, Spain, Portugal and even
near-banrupt Poland - all these have felt the cold chill of the extortionists.
Now even Eastern European countries such as Lithuania?
All these are countries whose beholden leadership is being brazenly manipulated
and intimidated into setting up Holocaust Hush Funds, if they don't want
to be treated like the Swiss.
Now Canada.
A sampling of Holocaust hokum if ever I saw one - that "Sixty Minutes"
segment! Not a few folks predict that a political Holocaust boomering will
hit these people in the end - and it could well spell the beginning of the
end.
Here is an except of the press release I helped work up last night that
was shipped all over the world:
"A Zundel-Haus Press Release - February 4, 1997
"Sixty Minutes" called it "Canada's dirty little secret"
in its Sunday broadcast about 1800 alleged "Nazi criminals" supposedly
hiding in Canada with government approval. Viewers have angrily described
this segment as ". . . a declaration of war against East European ethnics"
and as ". . . a massive smear on Canada".
The primary sources for this "Sixty Minutes" piece on behalf of
the Holocaust Lobby were the Simon Wiesenthal Centre and the spokesman of
the Canadian Jewish Congress, Bernie Farber. The data the Canadian Jewish
establishment wants the Canadian government to accept as "new"
was "researched" by a private investigator and former member of
the terrorist Jewish Defense League - a convicted felon with jail time served
for handling explosives. (Village Voice, May 6, 1986)
With regard to the Wiesenthal Centre's quality of information and veracity,
suffice it to say that Simon Wiesenthal has been thoroughly discredited
as a reliable source of information on "war crimes", both outside
of the Jewish power structure by police and government bodies - and within
by leading Jews knowledgeable in the field.
The Zundel-Haus lists four such sources:
1) As reported in the New York Times as early as December 4, 1975, the then Chancellor of Austria, Bruno Kreisky, himself a Jew, accused Wiesenthal of "Mafia methods" and "character assassination" after an aborted slander suit by Mr. Wiesenthal against the Austrian Chancellor.
2) In 1990, the founder of Israel's security services, Isser Harel, in a rare public statement went to great lengths debunking Wiesenthal's credibility in claiming credit for the Adolf Eichmann capture. "Wiesenthal had no role whatsoever in the capture of Adolf Eichmann," Harel stated. (Southern Illinoisan, Feb. 25, 1990)
3. NOT reported in the American and Canadian press has been a February 1996 German expose, "Panorama", a television program similar to "Sixty Minutes." In this astonishing nationwide documentary news broadcast, Wiesenthal was taken to task as a liar and a fraud by Eli Rosenbaum of the Office of Special Investigations of the US Justice Department. Rosenbaum clearly stated that Simon Wiesenthal has NOT, AS CLAIMED, BROUGHT 1200 NAZI CRIMINALS TO TRIAL, BUT LESS THAN 10!
4. Elan Steinberg, Executive Director of the Jewish World Congress, said, as reported in the Badische Zeitung (10 Febuary 1996) that Wiesenthal ". . . owed the Jewish people an apology." Steinberg added: "Our experience is very clear. He has never, not in one instance, delivered any information that was of use to bringing Nazi criminals to trial."
With regard to putting any credence whatsoever in the Canadian Jewish
Congress's record of documenting "war criminals" in Canada or
through Mr. Sol Litman, Director of the Canadian SWC, the record is even
more dismal.
The statistics and conclusions can be found in the DESCHENES REPORT, which
came into being as a direct result of previous wild claims by Litman and
his sources (and subsequent media agitation) that Josef Mengele had obtained
a Canadian visa and visited Canada.
At great expense to the Canadian taxpayers, The DESCHENES COMMISSION of
Inquiry on War Criminals (1986) found the Wiesenthal Centre a thoroughly
unreliable source. The Commissioners of this report stated very clearly
that the information supplied by the Simon Wiesenthal Centre was "speculation,
impression, possibility, hypothesis."
Specifically, the DESCHENES REPORT stated on page 58 that:
"The Wiesenthal Documentation Centre was generally a source of names of individuals alleged to be war criminals. As a rule, the Centre provided little more than an individual's name, rank, place and date of birth together with the generalized allegation of war crimes such as being a member of the Galicia Division of the Ukrainian Waffen-SS. Occasionally, the Centre provided an address in Canada of an individual having a name similar to that of a suspected war criminal. Generally, however, it must be stated that the Centre's information was long on allegations and generalities, and short on evidence and specifics."
On pages 257-258 of the DESCHENES REPORT we read:
"As early as 1984, Simon Wiesenthal had supplied a list of 217 former members of the Waffen-SS of the Galicia division who, according to Wiesenthal, 'survived the war and (were) not living in Europe.'
The Commission has investigated the matter and found, as of 22 October 1986, that of the 217 alleged 'war criminals', 187 (86% of Wiesenthal's list) had never even lived in Canada.
The DESCHENES REPORT goes on to say:
"The RCMPs (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) investigation in 1984-85 failed to uncover any evidence of war crimes against the 31 individuals on that list who, it appeared, _might_ have entered Canada. . .
"It is obvious that the list of 217 officers of the Galicia Division furnished by Mr. Wiesenthal was nearly totally useless and put the Canadian Government, through the RCMP and this Commission, to a considerable amount of purposeless work. That additional information be long in coming may not be surprising, under those circumstances. As a result, evidence of participation in war crimes has remained illusive."
Now, thirteen years later, the original 217, reduced to 31, have swelled
to a total of 1,800, as reported on "60 Minutes". Where do these
numbers come from? Where is the evidence?
What "Sixty Minutes" and its participants engaged in was simply
irresponsible hate mongering against individuals who are too old, too inarticulate
or simply too poor to defend themselves properly.
For 50 years, the German nation has been branded as a criminal nation via
lucrative headlines costing Germany already more than DM 120 Billion in
reparations and compensation for alleged, but never statistically or forensically
documented, 'crimes' against the Jews - evidence that would satisfy a neutral
court. A documented record of dismal lying for political and financial profit
exists - available to any fair reporter or investigator!
"60 Minutes" owes the Eastern Europeans an apology for trampling
on the reputations of entire ethnic groups. Bernie Farber and his compatriots
owe the Canadian public an explanation as to why they think Canadian officials
and tax payers should one more time spend millions of dollars to satisfy
their thirst for revenge based on yet more flimsy, unproven accusations
and questionable data.
