I have said for some time that we have far more support underground in the media and entertainment field than even we suspect. One of our supporters calls this evidence "Zundel eruptions."

• Zundel eruptions happen everywhere! Two days ago, the biggie was a feature special called "Black Harbour", broadcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

  It was a bizarre story, to say the least - bizarre in that the "heavy" who was to be the villain of the piece (i.e. the high school teacher) turned out to be, overall, the most sympathetic character in a drama already top-heavy with likeable characters - whereas his nemesis, a revisionistophobic busybody, mother of one of Andy's pupils, was far and away the least likable of the cast of characters.

  
  

  There must have been midnight oil burning in the offices of B'nai Brith last Wednesday. I mean: the Andy character was several times described--and here his detractors assumed a slightly pickled and disgusted expression--as being a flaming "Nazi" - and yet, had his character picked up a guitar and gently crooned "Love Me Tender" it would have been entirely in character. He was portrayed as a very beloved individual, cherished by his community for his altruism and for his commitment to his students.

  And while there were no direct references to Ernst Zundel, it wasn't hard to figure out where the scriptwriter had gotten the inspiration for his storyline . . . "

He spent a half hour explaining how he'd been blindsided by the lies and innuendo purveyed by B'nai Brith Canada and how now, as a result, he was facing the possibility of his employer, the Peel School Board (in the Toronto area), tearing up his teaching contract on the flimsy pretext that he was a critic of official multiculturalism and opposed to ethnocultural equity.

• "France ruled today (1/23/97) that 86 year-old Maurice Papon must stand trial for alleged crimes against humanity during World War II. Papon is the last living Frenchman to face such charges. He is accused of ordering the arrest and deportation of almost 1,700 French Jews when he was a local police supervisor in Bordeaux between 1942 and 1944.

  On December 11, we knew that the petition had been dismissed but it was not until today that we got the official decision. We were looking forward to reading that decision to see what sort of reasons they could have put forward.

  
  

  But what a surprise! They had not even taken the trouble to give the slightest reason! Here is exactly what they write (in awful English, sorry):

  
  

  'As to the substance of the case;

  
  

  'Considering the reasons given by the applicant in support of his petition;

  
  

  'Whereas there is no reasons in the instant case to refer this matter to another jurisdiction on the ground of legitimate suspicion;

  
  

  'In consequence thereof;

  
  

  'This petition is dismissed.'

  
  

  And that is all! As Maitre Delcroix puts it: ' . . . They could just as well have written: "Considering that the applicant is wrong'. And this is the highest Court!

  
  

  When you think of the work Professor Faurisson and Maitre Delcroix did for that petition! Maybe those high magistrates didn't even read one line of it? Consequently, Professor Faurisson's trial will have to take place and the date is already known: it'll be on June 6, 1997."

• I know this is obscure for readers new to Revisionism, but this decision is a primrose of venality in the ranks of the legal profession - a profession that has already shown its chicken-hearted nature in many other instances where "judicial notice" was evoked. Vastly simplified, that means a judge no longer NEEDS to look at evidence; the earth is flat again, transported on the back of a green turtle.
