Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

This is a follow-up on yesterday's ZGram where Ernst announced that the newest effort of the Holocaust Promotion Lobby involves reaching into the United States from Canada to stop the Zundelsite.

You ask how? Well, by calling it a "telephone" that broadcasts "hateful messages".

As many of you will remember, a similar attempt has happened once before when in January of this year a German communications outfit, Deutsche Telekom, just privatized and purchased by share holders and headed by an Israeli who took a 50% pay cut from his former job (Sony in the USA) blocked 1500 websites on our California server-just to prevent people from reading what we had posted on our site.

I can't get over it - the FEAR these people have of what we might reveal!

You see how things have changed?

For years, Ernst Zundel's message was prevented from reaching the people world-wide in two ways: 1) massive and vociferous non-stop vilification and character assassination in the media of Canada, and 2) judicial persecution and harassment via law suits.

It was one stubborn Swabian against the mightiest money power on this earth!

This is no longer so. What this latest move involves is a Marxist attempt by an organization, euphemistically called the Canadian Human Right Commission, accountable to no one, which can and has fined writers and can fine and even help jail dissidents and other non-conformists who operate telephone hotlines. This punishment is willy-nilly for politically inconvenient speech!

As I understand it, all this is somehow connected to "Bill 33" which Doug Collins, a controversial British Columbia columnist who himself has been the target of this organization, described as follows in the Vancouver Sun, April 24, 1996:

". . . This act specificially removed the right to freedom of speech and stipulates that anyone whose words are 'likely' to expose a person or group to hatred or contempt or who 'indicates' discrimination against anyone may be hauled before a tribunal and fined up to $100,000. Hypocritically. . . the fines are not fines. They are "compensation" for the offended party.

Complaints cost the complainants nothing but defendants are forced to spend large sums on legal fees. The B.C. Human Rights Council is judge, jury and prosecutor and even solicits 'evidence'. . . "

In brutal truth, is a KGB-type outfit, and there is no pretense that it is otherwise. You better shuffle, cease, recant, cease and desist, apologize and genuflect - or else!

But now, you see, it is no longer just Ernst Zundel. It is the Internet. Therefore, it is the world.

This latest is a challenge to the United States of America, the only country left on earth where there is still relative freedom, by one self-serving group, the Holocaust Promotion Lobby.

And all around our globe, there are a lot of very savvy cyber journalist who, thanks to the highly publicized and polarizing January Cyber War where the Zundelsite was right in the middle, now know about Ernst and his message. They know, or sense, that there is truth in history, embedded in the documents in his and other Revisionists' possessions no law on earth can destroy.

Too many people know. It's sprouting in the universities. There is a media underground movement that will take care of this. You'd be amazed who's checking at the Zundelsite periodically.

And trust you me, not a few of those people are now on our side. They may not say so openly, but now they have the scent. They have discovered, some to no small surprise, that Zundel wears no horns - that he is, for the record, a kind and decent human being who has a lot to say of immense consequence not just for Canada. For the entire world!

The Canadian branch (or equivalent) of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the group that already recently rallied for Lemire when the Holocaust Hucksters tried to kick him off the air, is one such pioneer organization. They sent out this preliminary communique below - and a telling piece of reportage it is:

The Canadian Human Rights Commission has its eye on the Net, but we should all say, "Hands off!"

The Toronto Mayor's Task Force on Race Relations, has filed a formal complaint against Ernst Zundel. Although this hasn't yet been confirmed, the complaint is thought to focus on Zundel's controversial web pages, which incidentally are made available on the Internet through a computer in southern California, http://www.webcom.com/ezundel/english/

If you call the Canadian Human Rights Commission, they'll confirm they are investigating the complaint, but they utterly refuse to discuss the matter further. In fact, when I started to question whether they had jurisdiction, the media relations person got quite angry and hung up! The number is (613) 943-9120 if you're interested in trying your luck.

There are two separate reasons why I think the CHRC has no jurisdiction over Zundel's California web pages.

1. The CHRC has jurisdiction over telephones, not the Internet.

The Canadian Human Rights Act (section 13) gives the Commission jurisdiction over hate messages "communicated telephonically". The Commission has acknowledged in the past that the Internet lies outside this definition. There's been no change to the legislation, so it's hard to know on what basis they can change their opinion of the law.

2. The CHRC has no jurisdiction outside Canada.

The Commission has been quite successful in shutting down "hate messages" being offered on Canadian telephone answering machines. It's a priority for them, and it's something they boast about in their annual report:

http://www.chrc.ca/ar1995/annual_report/Casework.html#HATE

However, if you talk to folks at the Commission, they'll acknowledge they're somewhat frustrated because what often happens is the messages simply move south of the border to the United States, where they are untouchable by the Commission, ... but equally available to Canadians, who now simply need to know which telephone number to call.

If the CHRC is unable to shut down hate messages on American telephones, then by what twisted logic do they hope to shut down hate web pages on American computers?

The answer is: "It's a secret". The Commission will tell us when it's good and ready. . . "

Well, let the enemies of freedom one more time attempt to tango with the Lie and trample on the truth! What will it get them? Tons of publicity for Zundel and his question: "Did Six Million Really Die?"

Of course it will be difficult. And costly. And horribly consuming of human strength and stamina. Do you know that Ernst Zundel can paint with such perceptiveness it makes your nose sting from emotion? They should have let him paint instead of suing and harassing and besetting him until he went berserk with pain. See what they got for picking on the wrong guy? Here's what they got: the Zundelsite that can reach to the farthest corners of the world and right into the deepest recesses of human hearts where reason and logic and fairness still reign - in many if not all.
