Good Morning from the Zundelsite:



There exists in Toronto a group that calls itself the ARA-the Anti-Racist Action group. It seems to be a collection of neo-Marxists, anarchists, Trotzkyists etc.

These people pretty well describe themselves as follows in some flyers and posters that were distributed in downtown Toronto on November 9, 1995 by the thousands:

". . . We are Jewish people; we are people of colour; we are anti-racists; we are queers; we are women and men who won't give up-we are survivors. Today, we carry the spirit of resistance to fascism and anti-Semitism."

This ". . . spirit of resistance to fascism and anti-Semitism" translates itself into two or three messages daily that I find on my 800 number telephone line. These messages are of the vilest filth imaginable and sometimes contain death threats.

The ARA is planning an "Anti-Fascist" conference in a few days, and toward that end they have applied to the City of Toronto for an $18,000 grant. The provincial government of Ontario has already given them $8,000 via some "arms length" lottery pay-out system to support "worthy causes".

The Open Letter below was faxed yesterday out of the Zündel-Haus to all the Canadian media outlets:

To: The City Councillors of Toronto:
An Open Letter and a Warning!

I understand the City Council of Toronto is to decide whether or not to dole out to the neo-Marxist, anarchist, Anti-Racist-Action group, called ARA, a total of $18,000 of taxpayers' money so they can hold a neo-Marxist, anarchist hate fest at some undisclosed location on June 22-23, 1996.

The ARA has a long history of violent confrontation with police and openly brags about crashing legal meetings of organizations they don't like. The ARA has a policy of invading and trashing the homes of their political opponents. The ARA has put up inflammatory posters-samples to follow-which I have every reason to believe led to the ultimate fire bombing of my building. The Mayor's Committee on Racism equally irresponsibly agitated against me prior to the arson of my house.

You can see the ARA slogans spray-painted illegally on private and public property all over downtown Toronto! To fund this group with taxpayers' money is not only disgusting and highly irresponsible in and of itself-it is an invitation to street violence, public vandalism and mayhem!

I am putting the City Council, the Mayor, and the Mayor's Committee on Racism on notice that, should anything violent happen to me, my staff, my family and/or my premises on 22-24 June '96 or thereafter, I am holding you responsible and liable for all expenses and damages incurred, as well as for my hiring extra security made necessary by your financing this group . . . "

This letter is signed by Ernst Zündel.

You see why people like myself are putting themselves in the trenches? We have no business being in the trenches, and in a sane and healthy time we wouldn't be. We would live intact lives and craft a wholesome world so as to sip our tea on languid afternoons.

That luxury is gone. In Canada, the New World Order has just about arrived. It will be globally ensconced tomorrow, unless good people become determined rookies of the spirit who know there simply is no choice. None whatsoever.
