Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

From Ottawa, there's only cryptic information - for one, that the "Apprehension of Bias" hearing has been extended and moved forward to another date. This is part of the Zundel legal team strategy to have a federal court take a hard look at what is being done to Ernst by KGB-like, "in camera" hearings.

Also, some friends who drove to Ottawa to testify report that our Battling Barrister, Doug Christie, was magnificent. (Is that man ever anything less than magnificent . . . ?) How blessed we are that we have him on our side. He must be one of the world's finest attorneys - not only skills-wise speaking, but ethically and morally.

Since I am working on a very important project on my end, I don't want to clutter up my time, so I am pulling yet another ZGram that I have held in reserve. It gives a glimpse into how some people in the opposition feel as they are watching what is happening.

Below excerpts from two such letters:

Several weeks ago I received a very well-written letter from a Jew who did not sign his name. If he had, I would have gladly posted his letter on the Zundelsite and answered it with one of my own.

The gist of this letter was that he much prefers an "honest Nazi" to what he calls ". . . a group of boring sophomoric hypocrites," referring to the Nizkor site.

He writes, referring to the "Holocaust":

". . . A terrible vortex opened up, a bottomless pit, if you will, and we all fell into it. All of us, with no exception. Now we are all trying to crawl out of the pit and do something that our lives that is constructive.

What good does it do to go over and over the whole situation with people in all the various factions making millions and even billions of dollars over what you call the "Holohoax." I like that word; it is honest. . . "

Elsewhere, he writes:

"I hate to be patronized by people who profess they are not anti-Semitic when indeed they are more anti-Semitic than the Nazis. I look at the Zundelsite as a breath of fresh air. At least I know whose side you are on. . . "

Well, we could get along with him. If he would tell us who he is, we could start talking to each other. I don't have permission to post letters on the Zundelsite that are anonymous - for legal if no other reasons.

Another letter that did come signed is reproduced below:

". . . Although I myself am partly Jewish, I am a Christian who would like to see truth and reason prevail over irrationality and slander. There can be no doubt that it is as unjust to kill or starve a hundred or a thousand for religious, cultural, racial, or political reasons, as it is to kill hundreds of thousands or millions. The difference is merely one of magnitude or degree.

Here in America today, we have corruption and greed on an unprecedented scale, with politicians, lawyers, doctors, businessmen, and capitalists trying to get as much of the political and economic pie as possible, while seeking to exploit those who are obliged to work for them or employ their services.

This ultimately will lead to the total dissolution of the most productive and greatest civilization the world has yet known - without laying the foundation for something greater to take its place.

What then we wind up with is a classic Babylonian pyramid society where the rights of the individual are respected only in as much as poor personal choices which further reduce the individual are encouraged, while community and social constraints and ideals which promote a healthy and just civilization by insuring the legal equality and sovereignty of the individual are discouraged and ultimately discarded.

The only goal is to win. The contest is decided by who accumulates the greatest material wealth. I strive to be honest and just, as do many Jews and Christians. I therefore sleep well at night, knowing that by striving to serve my fellow man as well as myself, I am honoring and serving the God that made us all.

I believe that propagandists have indeed exaggerated the scale of the Nazi killings, and to revise the figure they have decided to promote would destroy their credibility.

Here is an interesting comparison for you:

Nazi Germany: X million Jews
'Jewish' abortionists: XX million Americans. . ."

It is true we get rivers of letters. Letters like the ones above are the exception, however - not the rule. Were they the rule, there would be middle ground - now disappearing more and more while each side hardens rhetoric.
