ZGram: Where Truth is Destiny

July 20, 2001

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

Two items today of interest to the open Revisionist community and closeted Revisionist aficionados.

Bad news and good news!

Bad news up front: To no one's great surprise, the British judicial system has rubberstamped its subordination to the Holocaust Lobby and denied David Irving his appeal to challenge the shrill ruling of Judge Gray, affirming that the controversial historian does indeed merit vicious and defamatory name-calling coming from the likes of Deborah Lipstadt.

To quote the Guardian of today:

[START]

Controversial historian David Irving today faces possible bankruptcy proceedings after losing his appeal against a high court libel ruling which branded him a "Holocaust denier".

The court of appeal in London upheld last year's judgement against Mr Irving, saying that American academic Deborah Lipstadt had been within her rights to accuse him of denying the Holocaust. (...)

Giving his judgment in the libel case 15 months ago, Mr Justice Gray said that 63-year-old Mr Irving had, for his own ideological reasons, deliberately misrepresented historical evidence and portrayed Hitler in an unwarranted favourable light. In the 333-page judgement, he described Mr Irving as a Holocaust denier, falsifier of history, a racist and an anti-Semite. (...)

Giving judgement today, Lord Justice Pill said that Mr Gray was "fully entitled" to find that Prof Lipstadt and Penguin were not guilty of libel."

[END]

David Irving, naturally expecting this judgment, showed his contempt for this judicial miscarriage of justice by simply staying away from the court house. He said he was too busy promoting his newest book on Winston Churchill, eagerly awaited by his many fans.

=====

The second item is much more cheerful - in fact, so funny and so out of character of our opposition that we are all left speechless but with grins from ear to ear.

Remember if you will, please, that in practically all European countries, and certainly in Germany, you cannot breathe a word of what would be described as "Holocaust denial." You'd be as cooked as your proberbial hot dog.

Let's say that you felt obstinate. Let's say that you stood on a corner in Berlin, and you muttered defiantly under your breath: "The Holocaust never happened!" A bystander heard you utter such heresy, ran to the cops, unloaded what he overheard - and chances are that fines and even jail would be your fate. Up to five years, that is!

Now savor this excerpt from a Reuters release of July 17, 2001:

[START]

"The Holocaust never happened" is the controversial slogan that will be plastered on billboards across Germany this week as part of a fundraising campaign for a Berlin memorial to Jewish victims of the Nazis.

The slogan, which appears over a picture of a serene mountain lake and snow-capped mountain, is intended to "shake up the indifferent and motivate the hesitant," the foundation organizing the campaign said on Tuesday. (...)

A much smaller text underneath the statement reveals the campaign's real message: "There are still many people who make this claim. In 20 years there could be even more. Make a donation to the memorial for the murdered Jews of Europe."

[END]

Please go to http://news.excite.com/photo/img/ap/germany/holocaust/memorial/20010717/ber110?r =/photo/ap/010717/16/germany-holocaust-memorial and take a long, hard look!

Is that ad going to do what it was meant to do - "More Guilt, More Geld" - or it is going to cause your average German to stop dead in his tracks and start grinning with glee?

Have our enemies lost all their marbles?

This goofy ad idea is the brainchild of one Lea Rosh, a media star of sorts, who hopes to reap some $2.18 million in donations for yet another Holocaust Memorial.

Who's Lea Rosh, you ask?

Here David Irving has an answer, titled "The Lowdown on Lea":

[START]

"LEA Rosh is the girl friend of the singulary unlovely professor Eberhard Jäckel, former head of the history department at Stuttgart University, who was unmasked together with her for using fake photographs to illustrate a Holocaust documentary on German television, Der Tod, ein Meister aus Deutschland. (Which makes Jäckel a "Meister-Nestbeschmutzer" aus Deutschland) [Zundelsite translation: "A master nest-befouler of Germany"]

Lea is not of course her real name, nor is she Jewish. She was born Edith, but sensing that it would assist her career in the German television industry if the cringing administrators of that industry thought she was Jewish, she changed her first name to Lea. She consequently rocketed to fame and fortune as chief of Norddeutscher Rundfunk, one of the biggest television networks in Europe."

[END]

So there you have it, and that is how it's done. You change your name to Sarah or David, whatever your gender may be, you tack a plea for sheckels unto a poster ad - and you, too, can become a Holocaust Denier. Bingo!

I had sent the URL of this incredibly black-humor poster to Dr. Faurisson in France, who promptly felt inspired to suggest possibilities for Revisionist poster expansion:

[START]

There Never Was any Holocaust,

by Robert Faurisson, 19 July

The photograph of an idyllic German landscape is set to be exhibited from today in the form of a huge poster in the centre of Berlin and all throughout Germany; postcards bearing the same image will be distributed in quantity free of charge. Superimposed in large letters on the landscape is the sentence: den holocaust hat es nie gegeben " ( There never was a holocaust ") and, in smaller print, a text reading:

"There are still many people who make this claim. In 20 years there will be even more. Make a donation for the memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe."

There follow instructions as to how to make a contribution. The campaign's organisers, amongst whom Lea Rosh, acknowledge its provocative character. In Germany, in Austria, and in a good number of other countries in the world, anyone who disputes the "Holocaust" " story, or who merely calls it into question, is liable to a long prison term, fines, a professional ban, and still other punishments.

In Berlin, the "Holocaust"" museum is scheduled to open on 27 January 2004, in commemoration of the 59th anniversary of the Soviet "Liberation of Auschwitz". "

When shall we in France see a new launch of the slogan "Faurisson a raison" " (1979) or "L'abbé Pierre a raison" " (1996)? We should then see in Toronto "Zundel is right". " In Munich, where in 1995 Reinhold Elstner, as an act of protest against "the Niagara of lies " poured upon his country" burned himself to death, we should see "Elstner hatte Recht". " And so forth.

But - a sine qua non - the proceeds would, of course, go towards Jewish memorials or to Jewish organisations.

[END]

Our Revisionist hat is off for "Ingenuity to Bring Revisionism to the Masses" to Germany's Jane Fonda - Lea Rosh!

Thought for the Day:
