ZGram: Where Truth is Destiny

April 9, 2001

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

Of all the times to be cut off from my beloved daily ZGram service! To say that this weekend I was chewing my nails in frustration is speaking euphemistically.

Let me recoup:

On Friday evening I started having "list manager" mailing problems. I had a MOST important ZGram to send - namely the exquisitely and yet razor-sharp summary of the lecture Dr. Robert Faurisson of France had planned to give at the Beirut Revisionist conference, which was, as you all know, rather mysteriously canceled at the last minute. I considered this lecture text of the utmost importance because it assessed and explained the importance of Revisionism as a foreign policy tool to the Arabs and the rest of the world.

Just to be sure, I also single-mailed that speech to several of my other worldwide contact who were either in important positions in academia, media or government or sympathetic to our message or could be in a position to take note and make use of the State of the Art of Revisionism.

I soon realized that I couldn't get through to my readers electronically! I tried and tried and tried - but no doing. The text kept getting wiped out. Why was this message, of all messages in the last few years, suddenly so mysteriously canceled?

As you have also been informed, neither Saturday nor Sunday's ZGrams got through. About an hour ago I was finally told that, belatedly, Dr. Faurisson's text has reached at least some people after another revisionist volunteered to send it for me. I still don't know why there was technical interference, but David Irving's website is down, and there are blatant threats coming from Germany that there is going to be what is called "a syn flood" (I didn't make this up) in that American websites are going to be flooded and crippled by "denial of service" messages!

Remember how that happened to the Zundelsite once on December 15/16, 1996? It crippled our then server, Webcom, for an entire weekend! The FBI and Royal Canadian Mounted Police dealt with that and similar incidents at the time as electronic terrorism. The attack, not-too- coincidentally, came out of Nanaimo, a small town in British Columbia, Canada where the Nizkorites kept paying for a mail drop!

Now the former Marxist turned "Socialist" minister in charge of "Law and Order" in Germany advocates this kind of terrorism as state policy?!

With that as a backdrop, I was more than suspicious why I could not shoot my ZGrams into cyber space! I still don't have the answer!

Meanwhile, absolutely stunning developments happened in the Arab countries in connection with the canceled Revisionist conference! To make a long story short, some of us had befriended some Arab writers and supplied them material about Revisionism. These intellectuals and their Arab colleagues were incensed that the conference was canceled, for they had obviously planned to attend and write up what noted Revisionists all over the world had to say.

What follows next is absolutely stunning. Read what one of these writers, one Dr. Ibrahim Alloush, the editor of the Arab Voice, http://www.fav.net/ has to say:

Jordan: Revisionist Historians Panel Postponed by Government Decree ===================================================

April 8, 2001

Amman, Jordan

As you probably know, there was supposed to be a Forum on Revisionist Historians in Amman at 6:30 this evening. However, on the night of Friday two days ago, the three speakers and the moderator of the proposed Forum received phone calls, some at one or two in the morning. Hayat Atiyah, Arafat Hijjazi, Ibrahim Alloush, and Hisham Ghassib were instructed to make themselves available at nine o'clock the following morning in the office of the Chief of Police in downtown Amman.

On Saturday morning, everybody went to the office of the Chief of Police with the exception of Dr. Hisham Ghassib who thought the phone call at two in the morning was some kind of practical joke. He was later tracked down in the University where he is dean, and summoned to the office of Talat Nawayseh, the Governer of Amman, along with the other three participants in the Forum. The head of Preventive Security, the Chief of Police, and another high-ranking officer in civilian clothes were all present at the meeting as well. After inquiring about the Forum on Revisionist Historians, the Governer said: "This Forum will have to be postponed, as it is affecting His Majesty's visit to the United States rather negatively!"

The four participants in the Forum objected to the postponement and argued against it. Dr. Hisham Ghassib objected to the principle of being summoned by officials of the Ministry of the Interior without having committed any violation of the law. Dr. Ibrahim Alloush objected to the principle of executive branch interference in the functioning of the institutions of civil society and in intellectual activities [that do not even pertain to the Jordanian regime or normalization with "Israel"]. Hayat Atiyah and Arafat Hijjazi argued that they are not even members of the Jordanian Writers Association and thus should not be the ones with whom the postponement is discussed, as the Forum is an activity sponsored by the Jordanian Writers Association.

The pressure to postpone the Forum lasted all before noon. Eventually, the heads of security and the Governer made clear that the Forum would be postponed regardless. They went out of the room, called Fakhri Qawar, the President of the Jordanian Writers Association, then came back and called the meeting to an end [but not before pointing out to Ibrahim Alloush that he keeps on writing as if there is no government in town!].

In the meantime, and before the Governer's call, it seems that the Minister of Culture, Mahmoud Al Kayed, had called the President of the Jordanian Writers Association as well. The Minister of Culture told Fakhri Qawar that he was informing him on orders from Prime Minister Ali Abu Ragheb, who was acting on orders from King Abdallah himself, that the Forum on Revisionist Historians in Amman must be postponed because it was affecting their visit to the United States negatively. But could that be due to Zionist pressure, or else, could it be due to Zionist pressure?! It must be one of the two of course.. And the question always remains: to succumb or not to succumb.

Part II: A Discussion on Revisionist Historians in the Evening

On the eve of the same day, Saturday, April 7, 2001, Palestinian grass-roots leader Bahjat Abu Gharbiyah was speaking at the Association against Zionism and Racism to commemorate Land Day, the Deir Yassin Massacre, and the Right of Return. The hall was packed. There was standing room only. Ali Hattar, a member of the board of the Association against Zionism and Racism who was just released from jail three days earlier, walked in to a cheering crowd. After Bahjat Abu Gharbiyah finished his outstanding presentation, Ali Hattar gave a moving speech in which he vowed to continue his work against normalization with "Israel", for which he was jailed, and for which he is due to go on trial soon.

Then, the whole event turned into an open discussion on the events of the day and the government's order to postpone the Forum on Historical Revisionism. Speaker after speaker rose up spontaneously to declare their support for revisionist historians and to condemn the betrayal of the "Arab" intellectuals who called on the Lebanese government to ban the Conference on Zionism and Historical Revisionism in Beirut, Lebanon. It was a fabulous gathering.

Part III: The Event at the Jordanian Writers Association

The Jordanian Writers Association did not issue a statement postponing the Forum on Revisionist Historians. News of the postponement spread, however. Still, dozens of people showed up for the event. Among those who were supposed to speak, only Hisham Ghassib and Ibrahim Alloush were there. Fakhri Qawar, the president of the Jordanian Writers Association, opened with a declaration of postponement which included a vehement objection to the precedent of meddling in the affairs of Jordanian intellectuals by the Ministry of the Interior. Drs. Hisham Ghassib and Ibrahim Alloush then spoke briefly to explain what had transpired and why historical revisionism is such a serious threat to Zionism that merits official interference at the highest levels.

Fakhri Qawar then made the following declarations on the behalf of the Jordanian Writers Association:

1) The Forum on Revisionist Historians has been postponed, not cancelled. The new date for the Forum will be set soon. [Will be keeping you posted].

2) The Jordanian Writers Association has already resolved to launch a petition to condemn the "Arab" intellectuals who called on the Lebanese government to ban the conference on Zionism and Historical Revisionism in Beirut. [The researcher who was accorded the responsibility of writing the text of the petition was pointed out and acknowledged].

3) The Jordanian Writers Association will send an official note to the authorities to declare its opposition to interference by the Ministry of the Interior in its business. The note will include a condemnation of the practice of summoning intellectuals to offices of the executive branch.

Part IV: Forthcoming

Zionists on the left and the right and Zionified "Arabs" have not heard the last of this yet. This is only the beginning ..

=====

All through this weekend, while I was cut off from my readers, I kept on thinking: "For decades, people like Ernst Zundel have tried to keep the friendly, warming Flame of Truth alive in what seemed to be a rain-soaked, dark, unfriendly forest of ignorance and hate. Time and again, that flame was blown out by the most vicious censorship imaginable. Is the sun finally shining? Is the underbrush finally drying?"

What happened in Jordan seems almost too good to be true!

Now I will give you a brief Zundel analysis and comment:

[START]

In 1980 I wrote a four-page essay entitled "The West, the War, and Islam." It was a thumbnail sketch of what ailed the world - and what forces kept people around the globe in ignorance and bondage.

I mailed that essay to a special list of addresses sent to me by someone who had access to the highest echelons of business, government, military, intelligence and banking circles - from Morocco to Bonnei. Every intelligence chief of every Moslem country, even princes, kings and prime ministers and their chiefs of staff, were on that priceless list.

I sent Revisionist material to these names - in English, Arabic, German, and French, because I knew that most had been educated in elite military academies and the best universities in the world, especially in Europe and America.

My appeal was very simple: To stop wasting resources and petro-dollars on outdated Western military hardware - missiles, planes etc. - and to spend it instead on a massive worldwide information campaign centered around Revisionist findings, using the already then-existing revisionist network, publications and book publishers to reach out to the decent people in the West - to achieve liberation through information by peaceful, democratic means! For what was feeding Israel was Western ignorance and subsequent complicity!

There was very, very little feedback from the Moslem Crescent.

There was an amazingly furious reaction, however, from Zionists like Simon Wiesenthal and Sabina Citron, a Toronto-based Jewish multi- millionairess. At her behest, I was criminally charged for publishing this essay, and after a 7-week trial, astonishingly - after all the nasty media hype against me - a jury of my peers found me "not guilty" of that charge.

During my trial, my essay was dissected, analyzed, discussed - and I was cross-examined at length about it in court. The spectators sneered. The media were full of derision when I said I feared the outbreak of a war in the Middle East - and wanted to prevent it by a Disarming Campaign of Truth-Information! The Jury seemed to believe me. My enemies went into overdrive to stop me - ever since! They have hounded me for twenty years for pioneering that East-West Revisionist Axis that is finally coming about! Even then, they feared that combination of Revisionism and Revisionists with the Arab struggle for self-liberation. The Zionists knew that those Western-trained university graduates, deftly put into leadership slots as soon as their education was finished, had their minds colonized by largely Jewish-Zionist-Marxist teachings! They knew that these students left Europe and America with their minds being "occupied territory" - just like the Gaza Strip and West Bank today!

Sadly, it took a generation and decades of needless suffering, war, revolutions, thousands of deaths, tens of thousands of wounded and tortured victims for a new crop of Arab-speaking political and intelligence analysts and intellectuals to realize ***that Revisionism can be the magic key to unlock the gate to freedom from mental slavery!***

That's what is reflected above!

Revisionism is a primordial force - a vital life force! What is happening in Amman today will increasingly happen in other Arab- speaking capitals and countries. The Force is with this new generation. The truth will out. Evolution and not revolution is the answer. With today's development, I believe with all my heart, the Sun is Rising in the East.
