Update on the Zundel Case - and general developments of interest

_____ A few days ago, we alerted Rense webpage readers to the
shameful action of the administration of the Metro West Detention
Center who stooped to withholding from Ernst Zundel all of his
Christmas mail - as well as a book from his son, meant as a
Christmas present. After we asked the Rense readers to contact the
prison administration and to express their outrage, both the book and
SOME mail was given to Ernst - with the understanding that he can
read the cards but must immediately return them. I had hoped that
some of the beautiful art work on those Christmas cards would give my
artist husband some small measure of comfort - but no! That's life
for you in a Canadian Gulag!

_____ We are still working on organizing protest demonstrations next
week (February 4 and 5, possibly also February 7) in various American
cities. So far it looks like these cities are:

Los Angeles
Atlanta
Washington, DC
Seattle
Boston
San Francisco
(Still in the works: Either Buffalo or Detroit)

I don't yet have final confirmation about where and when these
picketing events are going to be, but I learned that at least one
Canadian Consulate, listing their address on the Internet as 555
Montgomery Street, San Francisco, told one of the callers that they
didn't exist (!) - even though, apparently, somebody did pick up
their telephone! Have you ever heard of a Consulate denying its
location?

When asked where the next Consulate was, the person on the other end
allowed reluctantly that there was a "trade branch" of the Canadian
Consulate in San Jose - but GET THIS! refused to give their address.

_____ I was recently informed that there is also going to be a
protest demo in Stockholm, Sweden. I wish that more countries would
join in this Zundel protest, but we just don't have the
organizational strength to make these protest demos a concerted
global effort.

_____ In the meantime, Zundel friends are coming up with all kinds
of interesting ideas about how to put fire to the toes of Zundel
enemies. One lady came up with a personalized postage stamp - a
Zundel eagle sketched in prison - but was told that Canada Post did
not approve of "German eagles." Another suggested we ought to
announce a national Zundel Prayer Day in all the American churches.
A third proposed a citizen's arrest - of Judge Blais when he
pronounces his sentence!

(Please, folks - don't even entertain THAT idea! Canada is a de
facto dictatorship! You'd only end up in a cell next to Ernst!)

_____ In response to Ernst's petition to the Human Rights branch of
the United Nation about his illegal arrest, lack of due process and
brutal treatment, that agency has asked the Canadian government to
please explain themselves - and generously given them six months to
do so! Despite some noises to the contrary, you can tell how scared
the UN minions are to step on Jewish toes!

_____ On the David Irving page,
http://www.fpp.co.uk/online/index.html , you find all kinds of
interesting Holocaust tidbits, including this one: "One in six
Canadians believe fewer than 1 million Jews perished in the
Holocaust" followed by Irving's gleeful comment: "The great
achievement of Ernst ZündelŠ"

_____ In Saxony, Germany, 12 legislators walked out of a session
when they were asked to observe that traditional minute of silence
for "victims of the Holocaust."

What we need is a global minute of silence for the victims of the
Dresden Holocaust!

_____ Don't yet lose hope! The so-called Jewish "Holocaust" is
being challenged as a curriculum top dog at least in Illinois. Under
a proposal being pushed by two Chicago area legislators, students
would have to study all acts of genocide, not just "the" Holocaust as
present state law currently requires. The Noisy Lobby, as per usual,
is "outraged!"

_____ According to a poll taken by the German University of
Bielefeld, 62 per cent of Germans are "sick of all the harping on
about German crimes against the Jews". Writes well-known UK
reporter, Mark Steyn, in an acid article entitled "Europe has taken
over the Holocaust": "The old joke - that the Germans will never
forgive the Jews for Auschwitz - gets truer every week."

_____ The Slovaks could teach Western democracies a fine lesson.
They are taking steps to decriminalize Holocaust denial. In a
general overhaul of the penal code, the Justice Ministry will submit
a bill to the Parliament in February that would eliminate any
sanction for promoting the view that Jews were not systematically
targeted for elimination under Hitler. Justice Ministry spokesman
Richard Fides has told the Slovak press that the current ban
interferes with freedom of speech. In a fine act of diplomatic
finesse, he told the Jewish Telegraph Agency: "If you start letting
people promote the idea of Holocaust denial in a country where most
people don't even know what the Holocaust is, you are asking for
trouble. Holocaust denial is infectious."

_____ Some belligerent Russians not only complain about the
all-pervasive Jewish influence on history, both real and imagined,
they band together and act on their disgust. In an absolutely
astonishing development, some 500+ name recognition Russians,
including almost two dozen legislators, have asked that Jewish
organizations be investigated as being harmful and subversive to
gentile interests.

Hang on to your seat. The people's revolt against the insufferable
brainwashing to benefit the Big H Lobby and shelter it from scrutiny
has barely begun!
