ZGram - Where Truth is Destiny: Now more than ever!

July 23, 2004

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

This morning, I found this message from Toronto I am passing on to you:

[START]

Hi Ingrid,

can you run in today's ZGram information about our protest for Ernst
in Toronto!

Here is the link:
http://www.zundelsite.org/zundel_persecuted/free_zundel_rally_july04-announcement.html

We want to make this the largest protest to date. And from the looks
of things,
the ARA is going to try to show up and make trouble for us. But of
course, we will not be silenced by the shock troops of the Canadian
system/Jewish groups."

[END]

A few words about the ARA [Anti-Racist-Action]: The worst of the
scum of Toronto!

During the so-called "Human Rights Tribunal Hearings", during which
the Canadian Holocaust Lobby tried to shut down my website, I
attended several of the court-enforced intimidation exercises, and I
encountered a few of these ARA types that used to follow the more
"official" Holocaust Enforcers around. Street talk had it that the
Lobby "paid" these human wrecks, many of them still teenagers, for
making threats and causing havoc by inviting them to a MacDonald's
afterwards. I don't know if it is true - if so, that in itself tells
a story!

If my memory serves me right, it was Karen Mock of B'nai Brith who
wrote, "we work well with them." On some of the Canadian websites,
there should even be a photo of Karen Mock beneath an ARA poster!

The company some people like to keep!

At the time, I tackled the ARA several times in my ZGrams, shaming
the Holocaust Lobby for using such seamy "foot soldiers" in their
campaign against free speech. These ARA creatures tried several
times to cause trouble in the courts in typical fashion - I remember
one of them came equipped with a rodent in a brown bag he planned to
release in the court room. He never did, though - and after a few of
my ZGrams, the unwashed folks with their nose rings, smelling to
high heaven, stayed away.

I guess now they are back?

If so, I just hope that there will be law enforcement to keep them
away from the demonstrators. I know that emotions run high about the
indignities and cruelties inflicted in Ernst, and I would absolutely
hate to see the Zundel demonstrators involved in a brawl. Way back
already in 1985, some of the media commentators pointed out that
"Zundel wins the war of images by mere contrast of behavior."

A confrontation wouldn't be good for our cause - and can you imagine
what the now servile Canadian media would do with such footage?

I preach restraint. We are people of class and discernment. We have
nothing in common with street thugs.

Here is the information for Sunday:

NATIONAL FREE ERNST ZUNDEL RALLY ANNOUNCED

Sunday - July 25, 2004

2:00 PM

TORONTO:

Metro West Detention Center
111 Disco Rd
Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

EDMONTON:

Constituency Office of Anne McLellan
12304 - 107 Avenue NW
Edmonton, Alberta

The Canadian Association for Free Expression, along with the Canadian
Heritage Alliance and the Northern Alliance and other supporters of
free speech, are holding a FREE ERNST ZUNDEL RALLY on Sunday, July 25
outside his prison, the Metro West Detention Centre in Toronto. This
should be one of the largest Free Zundel rallies to date.

Ernst Zundel is a political prisoner being persecuted and prosecuted
for no other crime than expressing his views on the Second World War.
At the behest of the powerful and vindictive Holocaust Lobby, Mr.
Zundel is being held, without bail, in solitary confinement at the
Metro West Detention Center. He is being treated worse than a common
criminal, denied even the basic amenities provided to other
prisoners. (...)

In surreptitious, Star Chamber hearings, held behind closed doors,
the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), relying on the
questionable testimony of highly-politicized government agents,
concluded that Mr. Zundel - an avowed pacifist - is a "security
threat to Canada." Mr. Zundel was not allowed to attend, or present
evidence in his own defence at these secret proceedings. He has been
denied the right to face his accusers and their accusations.

Mr. Zundel came to Canada in 1958 and, by any standards, was the
model immigrant and citizen, first putting himself through university
in Montreal and later becoming Canada's premier graphic artist. His
artistry graced the covers of Canada's top national magazine and his
paintings - which invariably reflect his pacifist, nonviolent
philosophy - adorn the walls of some of the finest homes in the
country. In his profession, he provided meaningful employment to
countless Canadians, both young and not-so-young. Literally thousands
of people - of every race, color and creed - are proud to call Ernst
Zundel their dear friend.

Ernst Zundel has never been convicted of any crime in Canada. His
only "crime" is a passionate defence of freedom of speech - the right
to defend his own German people against the libelous accusations of a
very vocal and powerful lobby. For his noble efforts, he has been
beaten, bombed, slandered and even thrown in jail by a shameful
system, all too willing to do the bidding of these special interest
groups.

For over ten years, Ernst Zundel defended the rights of Canadians to
freedom of speech, even taking the battle to the Supreme Court of
Canada, where he ultimately won a victory for all Canadians in 1992,
with the abolition of the archaic, "False News" law.

On July 27, Mr. Zundel heads back to court for a "detention review"
(bail hearing). He's been kept in solitary confinement since February
17, 2003. Remember, he hasn't been charged with any crime or
convicted of any wrongdoing.

Now, former CSIS boss and judge in the Zundel case, Pierre Blais is
trying to rush this case to a conclusion and Mr. Zundel's deportation
to Germany by September 14, BEFORE our application for leave to
appeal can be heard by the Supreme Court.

These days are crucial. It's time to stand up against secret trials
and arbitrary decisions by a judge inextricably tied to the
prosecution and the prosecutorial agency , CSIS!

WHEN: SUNDAY, July 25, 2004, 2:00 pm.

WHERE:

TORONTO: 111 Disco Rd, Toronto Ontario. Disco Rd and Carlingview Drive.

EDMONTON: Constituency office of Anne McLellan 12304 - 107 Avenue NW
Edmonton, Alberta
