An overseas supporter sent me the following Letter to the Editor - short and sharply to the point:

Being part-Jewish ourselves, we trust we also shall not be accused of "anti-Semitism" by commenting on Holocaust Day, proposed not only for North Norfolk but the entire UK every January, or by supporting a councillor who dared to point out that some Jewish terrorists, too, had committed atrocities - albeit on a relatively minuscule scale.
Jewish people have our own day for Shoah commemoration, and the different date selected for perennial Gentile remembrance was that on which Auschwitz was entered by the armed forces of Stalin, who had, of course, his own huge concentration camps at Kolyma, Vorkuta, Karaganda, etc., where millions perished (including many Polish Jews deported in 1939-41).
Devised by the Home Office Racial Equality Unit, the purpose of this anniversary is neither to reflect upon nor even mention the millionfold democides of "international socialism" the Soviet murder purges, the Mao-made famines and liquidations, Pol Pot's class-struggle, the burning alive of Spanish nuns, Korean war dead, etc.
Anyone who doubts that the death toll from Marxist-Leninist ideology far exceeds that from Hitler's should consult the specialist statistical investigations by Prof. R J Rummel of Hawaii University; and then ask why there is no "Gulag Day".
Two reasons lie behind this annual nationwide Holocaust remembrance which neatly links Tony Blair's "political correctness" and his Zionist associations: to make non-Jews feel more guilty about "racism" and therefore less resistant to the transformation of the English national homeland into a "multi-ethnic" society and to discourage criticism of Israel in relation to the Arabs, despite its own "monocultural" immigration policy.
