Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

Yesterday, I was talking to one of the government investigators I 
have finally convinced to help us unravel an unheard-of crime - the 
political kidnapping of Ernst Zundel on American soil in a covert 
operation similar to the Maher Arar case, where a victim was traded 
by one government's political police to please another government's 
political police, to be sent to a third country to be tortured. 
These things now happen in America. 

I tried to explain some of the vast and politically complex 
background, which can be overwhelming in its sweep and implication. 
I don't know if I managed to say well what needed to be said - in any 
case, I tried.  This investigator listened with great care, and then 
offered this:  "It is bizarre, but it makes sense.  What your husband 
says is not unconstitutional.  It may be morally offensive, but it is 
not unconstitutional."

To which I replied, more or less, because I don't recall my exact 
words:  "It would only be morally offensive if it were not true.  But 
of course my husband speaks the truth about the so-called Holocaust 
because he has investigated it.  And what he found has since been 
verified and been found wanting.  There was no "Holocaust" in the 
sense in which the term is understood, namely that there were indeed 
'six million gassed by Hitler in a premeditated genocide.'" 

Here is one such supporter who has followed the Zundel story for 
years.  In the write-up below, he is taking on one of Canada's 
compliant schmierfinks inciting the Canadian public against their 
favorite "thought criminal":

Re:  Holocaust videos

I have just read on the Net your TORONTO SUN article of January 25, 
2004 re the plight of Ernst Zundel and the supposed absurdity of 
"Holocaust Denial".  You mention that the authenticity of the 
Holocaust is underwritten by innumerable documents, eye-witness 
reports and "videos". 

I am an RCAF Veteran, former Canadian diplomat, entrepreneur and 
amateur historian.  I served in Germany for about 3 years not long 
after the war and spoke with many knowledgeable German survivors, up 
the level of Dr Hjalmar Schacht, former President of the Reichsbank. 
I gained a very favourable impression of  the German people.  For 
the most part they shared our culture and values, as good Christians, 
and showed little animosity towards their misguided conquerors, a 
feat of forgiveness that perhaps has no parallel in view of the 
merciless treatment they received from their "liberators", especially 
the gratuitous mega-slaughter of German civilians, mostly women and 
children. I met none in the category of mindless brutes as portrayed 
by Allied propagandists in the wartime recruitment campaigns to which 
I and most of my schoolmates naively succumbed, giving their lives in 
many cases to "defend civilization" (almost all of us enlisted in Air 
Crew despite the odds against survival).

Having thus a vested interest in the righteousness of the War, and 
then having my illusions clouded by the suspicion that we had 
attacked the wrong enemy (a suspicion shared apparently by Winston 
Churchill who quipped to a colleague as the Cold War loomed "It looks 
like we killed the wrong pig!"),  I became interested in examining 
the causes of WWII, and, very specifically why, when the atheistic, 
barbaric Stalin dictatorship and Germany invaded Poland 
simultaneously in 1939, we declared war only on Christian Germany, 
our natural ally in virtually every respect, and embraced one of the 
worst tyrants of all time, who had already murdered tens of millions 
of his own Christian citizens, compared with whom Hitler was a 
veritable Saint!   Although I have struggled through many thousands 
of books and articles, I have yet to find a plausible answer, except 
the notion that venal British politicians had been persuaded somehow 
to betray both their country and Western Civilization, in the full 
knowledge that a second world war so soon after the First World War 
would have catastrophic consequences for all concerned (except for 
Stalin and the Zionists, as it turned out).

Naturally, my studies led me to the fate of the Jews. At first I 
accepted without reservation the claim that Six Million Jews had 
Perished in Nazi Gas-ovens, even after visiting the "Death Camp" at 
Dachau in the early 'fifties and hearing from the elderly Jewish 
guide the lurid stories that seemed dubious even in a "Nazi" context: 
"Here is what they called the "Blood Ditch" which they had to build 
since the flow of the victims' blood was much greater than the normal 
sewage system could carry" and "these are the ovens where thousands 
were cremated" pointing to two small iron doors set in a wall. It was 
not until the mid-'sixties that I began to "smell a rat", as it were, 
partly because of the ubiquity of the so-called "Survivors", whom I 
had encountered in many countries, not least of all Canada.  As Prof. 
Norman Finkelstein's elderly mother (herself a "survivor") more 
recently remarked "If all those people survived, who got killed?" - a 
reasonable question where purportedly "all but a small remnant of 
European Jewry had been exterminated".  The question however, as in 
the case of Ernst Zuendel's "Did Six Million Really Die?", was 
greeted only with invective, derision and ad hominems ("self-hating 
Jew" etc)  There was no attempt, that I saw, to come to grips with 
the issue, which must be done soon if the assumption of Holocaust 
authenticity is to survive the ominously growing skepticism of 
Israeli, and by extension, Jewish bona fides throughout the world. 

Another major obstacle to authenticating the Holocaust, as I see it, 
is the long-concealed Death Record from Auschwitz, showing 76,400 (as 
opposed to the original claim of 4 million)  and the German 
Government record of 4.7 million claims from "survivors" for 
"compensation", all vetted as genuine by a competent Jewish 
authority.  Also to be overcome is the failure of Churchill to 
mention the gas chambers in his otherwise definitive History of the 
Second World War, an extraordinary oversight, if indeed they had 
existed, since Churchill, arguably, was better informed of the 
situation in wartime Germany and satellites, thanks to British 
mastery of the German secret codes, than even Hitler himself.

So much for preamble. What I would like to have from you are details 
of the "extensive video...testimony" that you say "proves the truth 
of the Holocaust".  I have never seen any such videos nor heard of 
their existence.  Even simple photos of the gas chambers in operation 
and massive line-ups (surely the photo-op of the century) have never 
been found, a paradox if there ever was one, considering that the 
Germans took millions of photos of much lesser events, including 
executions. You mention Prof. Hilberg, who, as you may know, was the 
Prosecution's star witness at the first Zuendel trial.  When, under 
cross-examination, and under oath, he was instructed by the Judge to 
reply "yes" or "no" to the Defence lawyer's persistent question 
whether or not he could produce or knew of forensic evidence of the 
use of execution gas chambers by the Nazis, Prof Hilberg, America's 
foremost authority on the subject, replied "No". He declined an 
invitation to appear at the second trial. Eye-witness testimony of 
course, if consistent and plausible, can have evidentiary value but 
if contradictory, transparently mendacious and self-serving, or 
ludicrous, can be lethally counterproductive before an impartial 
judge. 

I look forward with great interest to your information on the 
gas-chamber videos.  Thank you in advance.
