ZGram: Where Truth is Destiny

July 17, 2000

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

This ZGram was supposed to have gone out last night, but something interfered. Sorry! I strive not to be late!

Here is a project for everyone to get involved in and make an impact - especially if you are a Southerner proud of your background and lineage.

The story below involves some patriotic plaques that have been removed from the Texas Supreme Court Building by politically correct eager beavers and need to be restored in a dramatic gesture that will send smoke signals to the Powers-that-be that Southerners are thoroughly fed up!

A young lady, known to me, sent out this S.O.S:

Compatriots:

Plans are underway to arrange an aerial reception for George Bush when he appears at the GOP convention in Philadelphia July 31-Aug 3.

During the convention at the First Union Center there will be a plane flying 1000 feet over head pulling a banner with a 10 foot square battle flag and the words: Gov. Bush: PUT THE PLAQUES BACK!

The plane will circle the convention for two hours, and, if sufficient funds can be raised, will repeat the performance a second day (possibly with a different message, but still carrying the flag)

Certainly all Southern Heritage groups should have an interest in forcing Bush to restore the Confederate plaques to the Supreme Court Building.

It is important that we keep the pressure up on BUSH in teaching him the very valuable lesson that he should take the Confederate Community seriously. He very likely will be the man we deal with in the White House for the next 4 years.

Coordinating on the ground we will have protesters at the convention center, and a press release will be issued to the convention media explaining the reasons for the aerial message.

This project can easily garner international media attention for our cause, and is a moment not to be wasted.

The banner will be towed by a commercial plane. Costs will be $1500.00 for the first day for two hours (this includes making the Flag and Banner) the second day for two hours will be $800 (more if we change the message). I will not commit for the second day until I am comfortable that we can pay for it and the first day is paid for.

I had to use our family's much abused credit to secure scheduling of the flight and to have the banner ready in time. I am trusting that the Confederate Community will support us on this, as I am taking quite a financial risk.

Support and pledges to this project may be sent to (and checks made out to):

Sincerely yours for Dixie,

Please feel free to pass this message on, we must act quickly. I will keep the Confederate Community posted as to our progress and how much is raised.

This letter is not of "revisionist" content, but I believe all patriots need to support each other whenever possible. I think this is a worthy project and absolutely "do-able." Please skip a movie or a six-pack and send in what you saved. I hope to get some pictures later for others to plan similar events that are non-violent - yet powerful.

Ingrid

Thought for the Day:

"Whatever is honorable, I support. Our fight goes beyond skin color, it is the nobility of the mind that truly counts. In most cases, sadly enough, we find the most noble personalities in our dogs!"
