Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

The originally scheduled Zündel Bail Hearing for December 10-12 was 
terminated midstream today, and no hearing will take place tomorrow. 
Apparently, whatever needed to be said regarding bail has been said. 
Judge Blais reserved judgment but promised he would rule "before 
January."  I read that as meaning that, at the very least, Ernst will 
be forced to spend Christmas in prison, not knowing what his fate 
will be.

"We'll keep fighting," he told me when I asked what his intuition was 
telling him regarding a potentially positive outcome, once the Judge 
makes known his ruling.  "Judge Blais is fully alert as to what's 
playing hereŠ"  It sounds to me Ernst does not think that Judge Blais 
will, or can, marshal the political independence to rule as a sane, 
fair, and impartial judicial system would compel a judge to rule. 

I haven't yet received Paul Fromm's official write-up and have seen 
nothing in the Canadian papers, even though the media were there 
these first two days.  If you have anything, please email it to me

Given that the judge, out of the blue, seemed extremely favorably 
inclined toward bail the first day, December 10, I told Ernst 
jokingly:  "Perhaps he was reading my ZgramsŠ?"  meaning Ernst's 
Prisoner of Conscience Letters, which seem to be a big hit with 
Ernst's  friends and supporters. 

Ernst replied with real glee in his voice:  "He certainly is keenly 
interested in your website." 

While we are waiting for Paul Fromm's always interesting and lively 
write-ups, here is another Prisoner of Conscience sample for our 
Zundel Watchers out there.  This one is of a recent date, 11-26-2003, 
and written for a young man who seems to have become a recent 
supporter - at least I do not recognize the name:

Thank you for your kind words about my work and efforts.  You have 
understood better than most why I am in this predicament.  Obviously, 
I have touched a raw nerve, and an example is being made of me. 

I know that I offended against no Immigration rules - that's just the 
official excuse, to make it seem plausible to the shallow thinkers, 
of which there are many these days in high and low places in every 
country.  By now it is clear to  me that I became the victim of a 
well-thought-out, competently planned and organized kidnapping for 
reasons of revenge, involving at least three states - America, 
Canada, and Germany, with the input of a fourth, Israel, represented 
by Diaspora Fifth Columnists in the Intelligence agencies. 

I am not the first, and will not be the last, victim of such 
criminal, extralegal proceedings.  I will put up a determined fight, 
as long as my financial and political support can be marshalled. 

I always look at things in the historical context, which helps one to 
carry the burden more easily, I find.  Role models have an important 
part to play in people's lives, even grown-ups'. 

Erwin Rommel fought astonishingly with relatively little support and 
constantly threatened supplies.  The best he ever got was 15-18% of 
the supplies promised or shipped.  Treason was the reason. 

Much of my struggle has been Rommel-like.  You could say that my 
court cases were fought straight out of the Erwin Rommel School of 
Legal Warfare.  In [his case, in] the end, quantity overwhelmed 
quality.  Mass overcame individual sacrifice, dedication, even 
genius. 

I have been keenly aware that there are in all these equations points 
of intercept - once these points are crossed, like after Stalingrad, 
victory becomes ever more questionable. 

I do not have many options.  My enemies have planned this one out 
very well.  No Gentile arranged this scenario - trust me!  Friends 
and contacts in places which know the details have made this clear.

Thus I fight.  Things are fluid.  Our enemies are in a difficult 
period in their quest for total domination.  It will elude them, 
because they are a hybrid [entity] and, as such, inherently unstable. 
They spook easily - just like a mule spooks far more easily than a 
donkey or a horse.  History is full of examples.

I count on sanity triumphing over insanity.  My own fate is, of 
course, of interest to me and those who have helped me and care for 
me.  To history, I might well end up as so much "collateral damage" 
in the now unfolding global disaster of World War III. 

[Our enemies'] system is creaking at the joints.  They have lied so 
cleverly and cunningly, and wormed their way so deeply into our 
society in America, Canada and Western Europe, that by now they are 
falling victim to their own excesses, and begin to make decisions 
[based] on their own propaganda.  It's like the proverbial snake 
devouring its own tail.

That's how I see it from total isolation in Solitary on 24-hour 
lock-up, with 10 minutes of fresh air if I am lucky, and a 10-minute 
shower a day. I believe in an unobstructed universe - the sky is NOT 
the limit!
