When I tell Ernst Zundel, who is drowning in court dates and appeals, to drop a half dozen or so since it is very clear to all and sundry that these trials are politically motivated show trials with not a shred of even token fairness - and only meant to drain him of his energy and funds - he tells me again and again:
"Ingrid, this isn't about winning or losing a court case. This is about writing and recording history. It is about getting the Holocaust Lobby's obscenities and the government's complicity into the trial transcripts and thus the historical record of Canada for all times to come.
"It is about letting the people of Canada know who's violating their human rights provisions and getting away with it - with the help of the politicians who are beholden to the Lobbyists."
Ernst and I have talked about these issues often and at length. We in America and even Canada are still lucky to operate under the old Anglo-Saxon system where, unlike anywhere in Continental Europe, exact transcripts are still kept, valued - and studied! My e-mail affirms this, time and again! These transcripts reveal a trail of manipulation of the process and a diabolical sophistry which only Talmud-soaked minds could concoct.
In courtrooms we are writing history! What we have is a world with boils full of pus, and people such as Zundel are lancing it with every court appearance.
There is no better way to flush these people out and to reveal their every crooked, underhanded way reflected in these transcripts - ***and*** in the media coverage of these trials. Ever more people are wanting to know: "Just what are we really dealing with here - with issues of national and even global significance - where truth is the ***central*** issue of the conflict, yet ***truth is no defence***?"
The blind can see the colors - or should I say, the color RED?

Dear Free Speech Supporter:
A "Hate Activities Task Force" in Prince George has urged McCarthyite police state repression against politically incorrect groups and individuals. Specifically, they urged the city council to "deny access to public space, facilities and properties within the jurisdiction of the City of Prince George. and owned or leased by recipients of City grants to any individual or group that promotes views and ideas which are likely to promote discrimination, contempt or hatred of any person; and encourage others who rent facilities to do the same."
This proposal is a blatant attack on both Anglo-Saxon justice and the rights guaranteed by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Anglo-Saxon justice presumes innocence. Under this proposal, people are to be denied public or private meeting facilities for what they "are likely" to do, in the opinion of some other individual. Anglo-Saxon justice imposes penalties only after a person has been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. This proposal is nothing but high handed, dictatorial prior restraint.
The Charter of Rights and Freedoms clearly spells out:
"Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms:
a) freedom of conscience and religion;
b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression ....
c) freedom of peaceful assembly; and
d) freedom of association."
The proposed policy would have the City of Prince George discriminate against groups or individuals because of what they ***might*** say. (Emphasis added) If meetings are held and statements made that contravene the Criminal Code, then charges can be laid. It is outrageous and discriminatory that political opinions are to be silenced in advance. This is police state discrimination.
Make no mistake about it, it is not "hate" but political dissent that is being outlawed. The politically correct crowd wish to outlaw opposition to native land claims or massive immigration. It is not "hate" but other ideas that these would-be totalitarians seek to gag.
What can you do? If securing everyone's right to use public facilities without the censorship by the thought control freaks is important to you write Mayor Colin Kinsley and the Prince George City Council today thus:

To that I add the words of Clayton Ruby in response to David Matas, one of the more extreme and intolerant promoters of things Jewish, always the first to censor - and always the first to wail.

That's right. Do wonders never cease? Jewish Leftist Ruby's letter, of all people, appeared in the Toronto Globe and Mail June 8, 2000, telling a prominent censor to better lay off:
Toronto -- David Matas (Comment -- June 6) argues for criminalizing hate speech, but he does not make explicit the critical assumption that inevitably must carry the burden of persuasion. It is this: If you can stop people from saying words that promote hatred, you will stop hatred itself. Its corollary, I suppose, is that if you can force people to say words that promote good ideas, you will promote the good.
Both notions are false. Words have no such magic. If they did, many cultures that required political and social incantation of their "truths" would still be flourishing among us. Others have believed they could make society better by imprisoning those who insisted on saying "evil" things. To take but one example: In many Communist societies, it was forbidden to praise capitalism and mandatory to praise communism. That did not prevent changing social, economic and political ideas from having their inexorable way.
History shows us that bad ideas cannot be banned -- only understood and fought. It is individual debate and confrontation that persuades; bad ideas cannot be defeated by a silence enforced with imprisonment. Mr. Matas is a distinguished scholar and lawyer, and I know his heart is good. But the banning of hate speech carries a huge cost. And it is futile.
