I have just returned from the 13th International Revisionist Conference put on by the California-based Institute for Historical Review. There were many "firsts" at this conference - the most importance undoubtedly being the experience of having the entire conference broadcast over the Internet.
Ten times as many people as attended the meeting physically were able to eavesdrop on the conference cyber-fashion! We can be proud of ourselves!
I am soliciting input from conference attendees about how this gathering was perceived. I thought it was a very useful conference, for may different reasons.
One of the issues that emerged time and again was the matter of "Quo vadis" - where are we going from here? The general feeling shared was that the Irving Trial has made it crystal clear to all and sundry just how important the so-called "Holocaust" is geopolitically - and that our opponents understand this more clearly that even many Revisionists do.
In fact, our opponents are panicked out of their wits - and that is why such horrendously repressive methods are now being employed to stop the flood of Revisionist information. I will just give you one example.
France has installed a "snitch line" - a telephone hotline, # 114 - where people can turn in people who dare question the "holiest of holies". The message is clear: "Tell us who said so-and-so. Provide one witness. We will do the rest." Uncle Joe could not have been more brazen and blatant!
We hear, off and on, dissatisifed voices in our own ranks that "Revisionist debate" is spinning its own wheels - that we are allowing our enemies to forever run circles around us requesting that we iron out this wrinkle and that wrinkle in minutest details without getting to the meat of the matter: Where is Revisionism leading us in terms of consequences?
While there is some merit in that complaint - there are maddening pedants in any movement and any organization, and believe me I met one or two - I still maintain that we have had, and will continue to have, successes far out of proportion to our numbers.
Why is that? Because we are right, and our enemies are wrong, and the public and even the media are beginning to pick up that message.
I'll give you one "for instance": We had a conference this weekend, and barely woke I up this morning than I received a fax of an article in the Los Angeles Times, written by a reporter already under siege by Jewish factions, that was as fair and factual as we could wish for - and I say that is progress.
Below is a segment from Guillermo Coletti, one of the better known Revisionists, who has on occasion expressed his impatience that our benign, information outreach oriented approach was not sufficient for dealing with an enemy - whom no one would describe as "benign" in his tactics.
More on the Taming of Holocaust Revisionism
(...) My recent piece on the taming of Holocaust Revisionism has generated an unprecedented amount of e-mail. With the exception of two sources, all have been supportive. Many of these people have sent opinions which I will be sharing with friends and supporters. Obviously, I have approached an issue that, although neglected for long, can no longer be ignored.
Thank you to all of you who have encouraged me to continue searching for the truth. The six million story is a fraud that has to be treated as such.

The Lie Heard Round the World

History is never just a dry set of meaningless facts. It is always an interpretation of the meaning of facts. This may be seen in the current hysteria over the reopening of the McCarthy investigations. To the liberal court historians the actual fact of Soviet penetration of the U.S. Government is less important than the implied charge that liberals were and are the accessories to Communism. So it is as well with Holocaust Revisionism. The actual number of Jewish deaths from World War Two and the cause of death is less the issue than the fiction that Jews were the innocent target of a madman.
Revisionism strikes directly at the Jewish mindset. It takes the ultimate Jewish horror story and reduces it to an ordinary wartime misfortune. More than that it implicitly accuses Jews of having perpetrated a massive swindle upon the world. Thus, it states by clear implication that Jews do in fact posses the power their opponents claim. No one should wonder that Revisionism makes Jews very, very nervous.
Revisionists are regularly rebuked for allegedly wishing to rehabilitate Hitler. This may not be true of all revisionists but no thinking individual, contemplating the hoax of the six million, can avoid the possibility that the Nazis and other traditional critics of the Jews may have a case.
Holocaust Revisionism, in other words. is a door opening wide all the suppressed issues of our time. There is always a tendency to try to shut Pandora's box after having opened it. Thus, many neo-revisionists deny any intent to target Jews even as they expose the "Mother of all Lies." This is understandable but not practicable.
The Jewish Holocaust myth is a deliberate swindle. It is not just an innocent byproduct of wartime hysteria as some would like to rationalize. . . With so much intellectual, emotional and psychological capital invested in the "gas chambers," Jews cannot treat "The Holocaust" as a mere matter of debate. Neither can their opponents.
