ZGram: Where Truth is Destiny

February 23, 2000

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

Last night, I watched the American Primaries on CNN and had my thought on seeing Senator McCain win over George Bush in two states, his homestate Arizona and Michigan. The man instinctively gives me the willies - and, as I later noticed when I checked my e-mail, with good cause.

From the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs, March 2000, page 23, by Richard Curtis, executive editor:

McCAIN SOUNDS SCARY

The writer must admit that he started the campaign with a deep personal admiration for Sen. John McCain, bot on the obvious heroism issue and on campaign finance reform. But initial reservations about McCain's Middle East policy have grown into real fear.

Here is a man who is not just pandering, but who seems really to believe some of the Middle East verbiage his congressional staff or AIPAC is preparing for him, or he's just making it up as he goes along.

Read the following and be warned:

"For too long, the nation of Israel has bargained in good faith, but received little in return. As president, I would make sure that all of the peace partners live up to their prior commitments before any more land transfers take place. As president I will never ask them (the Israelis) to sacrifice tangible land in exchange for intangible promises...

"As president I will tend with care to our 'special relationship' with our best friend and only true democracy in the Middle East. That means I will speak out forcefully and immediately when blood libels are spread about Israel by those with whom we expect Israel to make peace.

"Our credibility, our principles, the value of friendship with the United States, and the understanding of all nations in the region that America stands for something greater than its self-interest should be the primary objects of our Middle East policy."

To this writer (Richard H. Curtis), that sounds, if not like the ranting of a madman, at least of someone who deeply and fundamentally misunderstands the entire Middle East problem. Clearly McCain hasn't noticed that it is Israel that has not lived up to its commitments, and that true American "self-interest" in the MIddle East is peace with justice that will create political and economic stability, ensure respect for human rights, and save lives there.

If he thinks there's something that transcends that, he may be as nutty as Pat Robertson. If McCain were elected president, our kids might soon be fighting Israel's unjust wars, and Americans would be at risk both at home and abroad.

According to the Daily Telegraph, London, ISSUE 1729 Friday 18 February 2000, in a report filed by Toby Helm in Berlin, almost a third of Germans say they could see themselves voting for Jörg Haider, the far-Right leader of Austria's Freedom Party, based on an opinion poll.

Die Woche, which published the results of this poll, show that 22 percent agree "in many respects" with Haider's policies, including a complete ban on further immigration. Nine percent would like to see a politician like Haider for Germany, and 14 percent were in total agreement with his program.

The article states:

"The findings contrast strongly with the attitude of the German government, which has led the European Union in condemning Mr Haider, whose party joined the conservative People's Party in a coalition a fortnight ago."

And speaking of Germany, Udo Walendy, the German political scientist and revisionist publisher, lost an appeal and has to begin to serve his next 14-month sentence immediately.

Mr Walendy is known in patriot circles for a previous jail sentence served, ". . . not for what he said, but for what he ***should*** have said" ... that is, he should have bowed before the Mighty Lobby, which he refused to do.

Mr Walendy is well into his seventies and reported to be in poor health.

A friend, who pondered the unsavory Arolson matter I described in a recent ZGram, came up with the following suggestion:

Proposed Injunction to Suspend German Reparation Payments.

The Facts of the Case.

The German government pays large sums of money annually in reparation to individuals alleged to have been unjustly incarcerated in German labor camps during World War II.  However, there is reason to believe that many such individuals were, in fact, merely common criminals who were legally and justly incarcerated for the commission of various crimes including theft, rape, murder, etc.

Such common criminals would not, as a matter of justice, be entitled to any reparation payments for unjust incarceration, although they are, in fact, included among the recipients of such payments, under the current reparations policy of the German government.

The means are available for identifying and removing these criminals from the list of beneficiaries: they consists in the records of labor camp inmates, held in the facilities of the International Tracing Service at Arolson, Germany under the supervision of the International Committee of the Red Cross, which currently denies access to the records.

The Damaged Parties.

Every German residing within the jurisdiction of the German state and paying taxes under German law currently suffers financial damage, in being forced to make "reparations" payments to criminals who have no just claim upon receiving any such payments.

The Proposed Remedy.

A class action lawsuit, in the nature of a Complaint for Permanent Injunction, naming the German taxpayers as Plaintiffs, and the German government as Defendant.

The Complaint seeks

(1) a permanent injunction to suspend and terminate reparation payments to all beneficiaries who have no just claim upon such payments;

(2) a demand for the refund, to the state of Germany, of all moneys fraudulently paid out to unworthy beneficiaries of such payments;

(3) a court order to the ITS facility at Arolson, ordering the opening of the Arolson files to permit the identification and elimination of criminal beneficiaries, in support of this action.

From Jen Rosenberg's e-zine, <website http://holocaust.about.com> I glean two items of interest to us.

* First, here are the exact words of that Lackey-to-the-Lobby, German President, Johannes Rau - known as Der Heilige Johannes, translated as "The Holy John" - spoken in German in the Knesset, are as follows:

"With the people of Israel watching, I bow in humility before those murdered, before those who don't have graves where I could ask them for forgiveness." Rau also said, "I am asking for forgiveness for what Germans have done, for myself and my generation, for the sake of our children and grandchildren, whose future I would like to see alongside the children of Israel."

* Second, a new documentary, titled "Paragraph 175," allegedly tells the story of the 15,000 homosexuals who were persecuted under the Nazi regime and sent to concentration camps. As might have been expected, the film was directed by two "Americans", Jeffrey Friedman and Rob Epstein. The film already won an award at Robert Redford's Sundance Film Festival.

An AP release dated February 22, 2000, reports that German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder's foreign policy adviser ". . . is warning against boycotting Austria, saying Europeans now more than ever need to strengthen contacts and dialogue with Austrians."

Michael Steiner told the Vienna daily Der Standard in an interview published yesterday: "Calling for a boycott is the dumbest thing that could be done."

Steiner emphasized Austria's importance within the EU

". . . with a key role to play in continuing to improve relations with Balkan and Eastern European countries, many of which are seeking membership in the union and were once part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire."

And then he said this:

"Without Austria, the EU would be just a torso. It would be false to say that only the countries with large populations are important in Europe."

And this just came in, posted at CNN's website only minutes ago:

The Drug Enforcement Administration has disrupted what officials suspect was a multimillion-dollar ecstasy distribution ring run in part by Israeli organized crime, law enforcement officials said Wednesday.

The New York-Tel Aviv ring allegedly sold hundreds of thousands of ecstasy pills each month in the New York area.

According to sources, the pills were produced in the Netherlands at a cost of 50 cents to $1 per pill and eventually were sold in New York, particularly at so-called rave clubs, for $25 to $50 each."

(Excerpted)

This last item strikes a particular chord in me. I watched CNN's "Cry Freedom" about Sierra Leone's civil war in Sub-Sahara Africa - a show that will stay with me for a long time. It documented how children as young as 10-12 were drugged and then let loose as murderous automatons, chopping off people's hands and sometimes even decapitating their victims.

A question that came immediately to mind was: "Who is drugging these children? Who has the money and the incentive to do that? Where do they get these dangerous drugs in a society to utterly ravaged by war?"

The explanation given was that it was somehow mysteriously connected to diamonds.

I think this systematic drugging of people, particularly in the inner cities of America, bears very close watch. In fact, when I think back on World War II and some of the unspeakable brutalities committed as the Red Army overran the country, I cannot help but wonder. No normal human being could have done what these murderous Red hordes did to innocent, helpless civilians.

Thought for the Day:

"This business of delivering Viennese schoolchildren to anti-Haider demos had its analogy in filling Toronto's Skydome a couple years ago to honour Nelson Mandella. School authorities arranged to bus in thousands of school children in and around Toronto. Big Brother wants our kids."
