ZGram - Where Truth is Destiny

January 4, 2001

Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

Up-front a correction!

You received a brief "ZGram" by mistake yesterday, in addition to my
regular ZGram. It was written by one of my readers and was not meant for
circulation.

The person who wrote it sent it to my server address instead of to me
directly at irimland@zundelsite.org, and I accidentally pushed the
"Approve" button rather than the "Discard" button after I had read it.
Don't tell me it was a Freudian slip! Out it went - to thousands and
thousands of readers around the globe! Luckily, it was an innocuous letter
- just some religious comments in response to yesterday's ZGram.

Please let that be a lesson to you, as it will be to me - if you want to
write something and send it to me personally instead of the entire World
Wide Net - just kidding! - ***address it to irimland@zundelsite.org***

Now on to today's ZGram:

Mark Weber of the Institute for Historical Review sent me the AP release
below with this comment:

"This shift in focus by the World Jewish Congress is, I think, yet another
sign of the changing role of "the Holocaust" in this new century."

To which I want to add, after having consulted my favorite in-house
Revisionist to sharpen my own thoughts:

The new millennium was bound to bring about the changes now manifesting
themselves within the world at large and within the Jewish leadership in
the Diaspora specifically. In the last days of the Clinton Administration,
astute observers commented on the frantic, near frenzied efforts of people
like Stuart Eizenstat, their point man, who leaned shamelessly on European
governments to help the World Jewish Congress to browbeat the Swiss, the
Germans, the Austrians and whole branches of industry to fork over billions
- or else! It was thuggery in plain sight of all!

Remember also that it was Foxman of the ADL who coined the immortal phrase
that centuries will still remember: "We bludgeoned them and bludgeoned
them and bludgeoned them - but at what price?"

Who doesn't remember Durban where Jewish and Israeli delegates started
fearing for their lives? The signs said it clearly: The good will, the
empathy and sympathy of the world for the Jews have been frittered away.

Now watch them start their campaign of character assassination in a
desperate attempt to destroy their accusers by calling all and sundry
"terrorists". Instead of "Nazis", "Neo-Nazis", "Racists" and "Bigots", it
will be "Terrorists" from now on.

Everybody who will be perceived as a threat will be Bin-Landenized!

It will be instructive to see how the governments and people of the world
will react to this sea change in policy focus by these powerful groups as
outlined below in the AP release. Will the internal struggle now raging in
the intelligence and military circles in America and elsewhere finally move
against the spy networks revealed by the aftermath investigations into the
"celebrating" and "dancing" Israelis on the roof tops in New York - while
the WTC collapsed into dust and thousands of innocents perished? Did Fox
News with its stunning Carl Cameron Report rip open the soft underbelly of
an alien subversion in America so vast and dangerous that the Super-Rich,
the Mega-Powerful, feel the need to circle their wagons?

Is this what we are seeing - the beginning of an offensive-by-default
defensive policy? Does the WJC leadership know that things are stirring
out in Goyimland that will need all of their power, all their connections,
all their influence to stave off the encounter with destiny?

All the world is now the stage - and they and we are actors upon it with
our own spiritual script. It will be a rough ride. You bet something is
up! Something big! Something fundamental!

Where do you place your bet?

(08:00) WJC undergoes overhaul to face terrorism

   By The Associated Press

NEW YORK - The World Jewish Congress, the umbrella organization that
spearheaded efforts to gain $11 billion in restitution for Holocaust
victims, has reorganized its executive structure to focus on global
terrorism, a senior official said yesterday.

Secretary-General Israel Singer will become chairman of the group's
21-member executive committee, and Elan Steinberg, the WJC's staff director
for the past 15 years, will move to executive vice president, according to
Steinberg.

Avi Becker, director of the WJC's Jerusalem office, will assume the
secretary-general's title.

Steinberg denied the validity of a report that the organization's
headquarters would be moved from New York to Jerusalem.

The leadership changes follow WJC President Edgar Bronfman Jr.'s recently
announced decision to step down in 2002 and they coincide with a shift in
the group's focus from the Holocaust recovery project to a new emphasis on
future concerns.

"The Holocaust restitutions will remain our legacy, but we feel it is the
right time to move on," Steinberg said in an interview with The Associated
Press. "The central issue now is security, the threat of worldwide
terrorism and the menace to all democratic institutions."

He said a blueprint for WJC activities in this realm will be discussed
when the executive committee meets later this month. Steinberg is a member
of the committee.

The World Jewish Congress has about 250,000 members in the United States
and represents Jewish organizations in 80 countries.
