ZGram - Where Truth is Destiny

This is just meant as a short greeting to my readers letting
them know that I arrived yesterday in Washington after a pleasant trip, and
that I will try tomorrow morning to see important government contacts and
get a feel for the “lay of the land.”
I have no idea how my hunger strike will play out – that
is, what will be allowed by way of location etc. - I am very serious about
my plans to stick it out for the duration. I have to make sure I don’t run
into legal problems, and that my protest is directed at the right “pressure
    points” to have an impact.
An ideal beginning, of course, would be to reach some
meaningful political concessions so that it doesn’t come to a protest
strike. Whether or not I will achieve any such inroads is, of course, still
written in the stars, but whatever the outcome, it won’t be for lack of
    trying.
Just before I left, I had word that my last three ZGrams
have gone out on the Canadian side to some 600 media, government, and
ethnically oriented sources. This will be repeated as well on the American
side and, to a lesser extent, globally. I will also be meeting with media
    here.
I urge all of you who believe in our cause to keep spreading
the message far and wide about what I am doing, and why. We have all the
merits on our side – whether justice will be blind or merely spiteful, as
the Hamilton Spectator correctly pointed out, remains to be seen.
    No surrender!
    Ingrid
