This came to our attention only now, even though the notice appeared in the South China Morning Post on October 9, 2000. We learn that Nextel Communications was suing Syntech Systems because one of its ads was titled "The Final Solution" with an Adolf Hitler look-alike using a Nextel phone and praising its virtues.
The look-alike speaks of "my struggle" to find a mobile phone system "that will last for a thousand years," and promises its customers "the extermination of dues."
"Our company is appalled by these unauthorised advertisements," a spokesman for Nextel Communications told a court in Manila, "and we are horrified by their publication...which clearly offends the sensibilities of the Jewish people, and that is why we are urgently seeking an injunction and damages."

Germans authorities, ever deferential to their occupiers, decided to dedicate a bridge in honor of Ignatz Bubis, convicted black marketeer and former head of Germany's Jewish community, but the ceremony was disrupted by whistles and anti-Semitic slurs.
Michel Friedman, vice president of Germany's Central Council of Jews, complained about a grand total of about 10 hecklers who continued to interrupt speakers with shouts.
"One of them yelled: 'What are you -- a German or a Jew?'" Friedman wailed. "These were good, middle class people, not skinheads," yammered Friedman.
And when Paul Spiegel, Bubis's successor as head of the Central Council, mentioned Auschwitz, someone in the crowd shouted angrily: "It was the Jews' own fault."

The first Slovak translation ever of Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kampf" has hit bookstores in the Slovak capital, nine months after the publication of the first unabridged Czech-language version. 5000 copies were printed and almost immediately sold out. Police are now busy investigating who published, distributed and sold the book. The crime of supporting and promoting "antihuman ideas" can be punishable by up to eight years in prison.

David Duke is systematically courting the Russians. His new book, "Ultimate Supremacism: An Examination of the Jewish Question", may be printed in Russian before it even hits the markets in America. "It's not about hating other people, I don't hate other races, I don't hate other peoples. But I feel great love and appreciation for our European culture," Mr Duke told Russia's independent NTV channel.
Many people in Russia have become aware of what is called a "theory" - namely that the last Russian royal family may have been killed as part of a Judaeo-masonic conspiracy, thus kick-starting the horror now known as the Red Terror.

Canadian Quebec's Premier Lucien Bouchard has found himself in a serious power struggle with Michaud, a former member of the Quebec legislature, over some politically incorrect remarks the latter has indulged in.
An angry Michaud said at a public meeting and on radio over the past two weeks that Jewish people seem to think they were the only ones to have suffered in the world's history. He also called the Jewish organization B'nai Brith "extremists,'' "anti-Quebec'' and "anti-separatists.''
Bouchard, who in the past has himself locked horns with Jewish interests, angrily criticized Michaud for shooting from the lip, which has earned him sudden, sizzling accolades from leaders of the Jewish faction.

German Police Puzzled by Bombing
Remember the outcry over last July's explosion in Duesseldorf, Germany, that injured 10 immigrants, "six of them Jews" - an attack that was blamed on "racial hatred" and other unflattering insinuations and sparked an outcry against "far-right violence?
After chasing down more than 300 leads, the chief investigator in the bombing said that there was no evidence for linking "neo-Nazis" to the crime.

Does patriotism equal "hate site"? many victims of the latest Simon Wiesenthal Center censorship bout want to know.
"What do political think tank sites such as the Free Congress Foundation and various Second Amendment-rights organizations have in common with white supremacists, neo-Nazis, promoters of violence and religiously motivated killers of homosexuals and abortionists?" asks Sarah Foster, a writer for the controversial WorldNetDaily.
She then supplies the answer: They have all been listed on the Simon Wiesenthal Center's <<http://www.wiesenthal.com/feature/digitalhatecd.html "Digital Hate 2001," a compilation of some 3,000 "hate sites across the Internet."
A flurry of complaints prompted a hasty removal of the list from the Wiesenthaler's website. A revised version is posted after the first of the year.
The WorldNetDaily article goes on to say: "... the respected (sic) group may have irreparably damaged its reputation with "Digital Hate 2001," the center's third compilation of supposed hate websites. The list may also have damaged others' reputations as well, prompting talk of legal actions."
When queried what might be the criterion applied to a website to be included in the SWC's CD as a "hate site", the SW Center's spokesperson, Rick Eaton did not have an answer. It seems that after massive complaints flooded the center, someone had second thoughts and the list disappeared from the SWC's website.
Eaton now says that the revised list will be "substantially different" from the one removed this fall. Adds Eaton: "We are confident when the new list comes out, nobody will be offended."

Siegfried Ellwanger Castan, one of the pioneers of Holocaust Revisionism in Brazil, was attacked and forced out of the 46th International Book Fair in Porto Alegre. Mr. Ellwanger was an exhibitor at the event, promoting revisionist titles released by a Brazilian publishing house.
Mr. Ellwanger was working at his booth when a group of rowdy Antifas - why do they always come out of the woodwork? - launched a verbal assault that escalated from words to spitting, to pushing, to actual beatings. The local Police, instead of offering protection to the victim, forced the revisionists out of the Fair.

In Canada, Ernst Zundel made news once again after the Supreme Court of Canada announced it was refusing to hear a series of appeals by Zundel against lower court and citizenship court rejections of his citizenship request.
Zundel had applied for citizenship in 1993, after having been refused once before in 1968 as a then rising political star.
The Supreme Court decision relates specifically to Zundel's demand for the overturning of a report by the Ministry of Immigration labeling him as "a threat to the security of Canada."
The Supreme Court also refused to hear his request for an unbiased "Human Rights" tribunal and for his right to marshal evidence of historical truth in his defense. The "Human Rights" Tribunal had ruled earlier in his case that truth, and his (Zundel's) intentions, were irrelevant - that just because the statements he made were true was no defense!
"If truth is no defense in Canada," says Zundel, "in a case which deals entirely with facts of history involving Jews, the Allies, and German government policies before and during World War II and the misrepresentations of Germany's policies and subsequent treatment of Jews, then ***any just ruling in this case is out of the question!***
With that obscene ruling, Ernst Zundel ended the Tribunal hearings which have now lasted five long years. The case will end up at the UN eventually.

Australia's most noted Holocaust revisionist, Dr. Fredrick Toben, announced he would not willingly travel to Germany to face a retrial on charges of inciting racial hatred on the Internet because he fears for his life in prison, should he be jailed there again.
Toben was acquitted of "incitement to hatred" last year by a regional German court, which said its laws had no jurisdiction over his Australian-based revisionist Internet site. However, Germany's highest court, the Federal Court, ruled recently that the Adelaide Institute, headed by the former schoolteacher, could be prosecuted under German law after all because his offending material ***could be accessed by German Internet users***.
But a retrial will rely on the federal government of Australia agreeing to extradite Toben to Germany. An unrepentant Mr Toben today said he would be foolish to return voluntarily.
"I would not be safe in a German jail," Mr Toben told ABC television. "They would eliminate me - and this gives me reason to think it would be foolish if I did go back."

Germany is also tangoing with the First Amendment to the US Constitution on various telling fronts.
Supposedly, the number of "neo-Nazi" sites based outside Germany but directed at Germans has risen to nearly 800, according to the latest Interior Ministry survey. This is described as a "sharp jump" from last year that boasted only 330 such sites - ". . . an exponential increase from the discovery of the first U.S.-based German-language site with fascist content six (sic) years ago."
Are they talking of the Zundelsite on which they lost a tooth or two in 1995-1996?
Germany's supreme court ruled that "German laws against Nazi incitement" could apply to anybody owning or running a website in the US that is accessible to Internet users in Germany. But US officials, so far, have said Nyet to such an imperialist notion.
"In order to have extradition, you have to have dual criminality in both countries and this doesn't meet that standard," said John Russell, a U.S. Justice Department spokesman.
"It stands the Internet on its head," said another official. "The issue is: how will the German government respond if the governments of Saudi Arabia or Singapore or China seek to impose their very restrictive laws on a German publisher? What if China wants to prosecute a German publisher for putting a human rights report on the Internet? I cannot imagine the German people want their free speech limited in that way."

France is dancing on the very same slippery ice. American-based Yahoo! Inc. is asking a U.S. federal court judge to block a French court's order that it keep computer users in France from accessing online auctions of Nazi paraphernalia - and that it remove links to Revisionist websites - a request never publicized by the mainstream media when writing about the Yahoo! judgment.
One Judge Jean-Jacques Gomez had ruled on May 22, 2000 that Yahoo! ". . . find a way" to prevent people in France from accessing English-language sites that auctioned Nazi books, daggers, SS badges and uniforms.
He reinforced that ruling on November 6, 2000 and gave the California-based company 90 days to install adequate filters - or be fined 100,000 francs ($13,000) for each day it exceeded the deadline.
In papers filed in U.S. District Court in San Jose, attorneys for Yahoo! said the French court violated the company's free speech rights and does not have jurisdiction over content produced by an American business.
Yahoo! asked the U.S. court to reassure the Internet industry that such orders are unenforceable.

Antisemitism in Germany is not only increasing but becoming more overt, according to the chairman of the Central Council of German Jews, Paul Spiegel.
Spiegel is quoted as saying that "the lack of inhibition being shown in recent months almost beggared (?) imagination."
"I am not speaking about anonymous letters but of letters which are signed with complete names, about e-mails and about open events," Spiegel said, and added "I am being accused, not in public bars but in high society, of encouraging antisemitism - and the Jews are accused of opening their mouths too wide - because (we) are demanding memorials or - lately - compensation payments."
At the beginning of the year, Spiegel claimed, about 3 per cent of his mail was abusive. But from about the summer, that had increased to 30 per cent, he said.
=====
Austrians, too, have had it to the hilt with reparations payments. Austrian authorities have said there's no more government money to pay compensations, and a senior official says it's time to ''draw a line in the sand'' about Nazi-era claims.
Vice Chancellor Susanne Riess-Passer told the Austria Press Agency that enough is enough. ''We have offered US$150 million and not a schilling more,'' she said. ''It cannot be that lawyers just keep coming here and asking for astronomical, absurd claims without any basis,'' she added. ''Such a situation in this form is too much to ask from Austria, which has put up with a lot in the last 10 years. At some point, it has to end!''
=====
And speaking of reparations, nothing and no one seems to be safe from these noxious, predatory attacks. Now it's the government of Lichtenstein, a tiny principality, which was forced to announce it would be setting up a panel of historians ". . . to examine whether it compromised its World War II neutrality toward the Nazis."
A government statement promised an "independent panel" would look into recent accusations by the World Jewish Congress that it ''allegedly helped the Nazis in the wartime and postwar period.''

Finally, a telling Christmas story - given that it's going to be Christmas Eve in just a little while.
Joerg Haider, Austria's enfant terrible, recently met the Pope to present him with a Christmas tree, which, reporters noted subsequently, "was elegantly placed at the center of the Vatican's Saint Peter Square."
Immediately, the ever-present mob appeared. Wearing crash helmets and their faces swathed in scarves, hundreds of "demonstrators" started throwing cobblestones, bottles and smoke bombs. Police had to fire tear gas and push back the hecklers, and some ended up with blood streaming from their noses.
Unperturbed, Haider claimed he received a "warm welcome" from the Pope who called him "a good Catholic."
His Christmas tree has been put under 24-hour police guard.
