* Lithuania is one of the few courageous countries refusing to be bullied by the Holocaust Lobby. A judge suspended indefinitely the trial of an alleged 93-year-old "Nazi war criminal" whose conviction the Lobby hoped to use to shore up their trembling and cracking empire.
"It's clear he's not healthy," sniffed Emanuelis Zingeris, of Lithuania's Jewish community, "but it's not clear that the court isn't overreacting to his diseases. Sadly, there's been little indication that this trial is being taken seriously.''
Meanwhile, Israel arrogantly refuses to extradite self-confessed Jewish mass murderer Shlomo Morell for the murder of thousands of Germans and Poles in Silesia at the end and after World War II.
* Likewise, the Reparations Lobby is very aggressive in Greece. The Associated Press reports that ". . . property owned by the German government in Greece may be seized and auctioned. . . " according to a first notice in the daily Greek newspaper, Ethnos.
Sources quoted by Ethnos said that reparations for alleged Nazi crimes will be discussed by a special panel later this week, but a decision on the seizures could not be made without the consent of Greece's justice minister, who reportedly would not approve such an action.
Targets of a potential seizure are the Goethe Institute, the German Archaeological School, and the German high school in Athens.
* Chuck Quackenbush, the former California insurance commissioner who resigned last week in the wake of certain impeachment, has found its sole support from Holocaust survivors ". . . grateful for his dogged attempts to force European insurance companies to pay claims stemming from the Nazi era," according to the Jerusalem Post.
One of his last hatchet jobs involved ". . . persuading: insurers - Aegon, ING, and Fortis - to establish the $4.2m. fund for the benefit of an estimated 3,000 indigent Holocaust survivors in California."
* A Jewish memorial was vandalized with "swastikas and other anti-Semitic graffiti" on the eve of Latvia's Holocaust remembrance. Police have no suspects.
* As reported by "One World" <http://www.oneworld.org/ips2/june00/00_41_003.html>
". . . the international community has made its first move in the war against cyber-hatred declaring that what is illegal offline should remain so online." The conference is said to have been attended by ". . . companies, police officials and a number of justice ministers." .
The grand idea is for Germany ". . . to ask Internet service providers to shut down web pages run by neo-Nazi groups, (and) to stem a sharp rise in the number of sites seeking to bypass the country's strict laws on publishing inflammatory right-wing material."
According to Rabbi Abraham Cooper of the Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Center, in 1995 there was only one "racist site" known to the centre, but by April 1999 this had risen to 1,400.
Last year alone 600 new sites were identified.
"It is bad enough to have to deal with extremists - every country may have them - but when you have to deal with sloppy (provider) companies who signal that combating digital hate is not important, we have to provide a wake-up call to those companies that it is important if you want to expand globally" Cooper said.
* The German parliament coughet up another $5 billion settlement for "former Nazi Slave laborers" in a Bundestag vote of 556 to 42 in favor of the historic package, to which both German industry and government will each contribute five billion marks ($2.45 billion).
``Your decision will help us to not forget the past,'' the government's chief negotiator, Otto Lambsdorff, told Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and deputies attending the debate.
* Michael Shermer of the magazine "Skeptic", who has frequented Revisionist meetings with a smile from ear to ear for quite a few years and who has often been suspected of spying on the intellectually dissident, is publishing a title explaining the "Holocaust Denial" movement.
The thesis of his book is that while there has not been found one definitive document or one tiny shred of evidence that proves the Holocust as Hollywood lore would like is to believe, by a "convergence of evidence", says Shermer, the Holocaust took place!
Reminds us of the judgment handed down by the Canadian British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal against veteran journalist Doug Collins, whose columns "individually" could not be found to harbor any anti-semitism - somehow ***collectively*** they did.

Thought for the Day:
"It's all a matter of the general intellectual climate in which people are living. Once a sufficient number of people's minds have been freed from the imaginary monsters conjured up by the Holocaust lobby, then the game will be up for them.
They will either have to give in and face the consequences, or resort to naked, brutal totalitarianism which is visible to everyone - and in the modern world I doubt that this would be practical even if they were prepared to try it."
