Just a shortie today because I am still digging out from under after my ten-day trip.
Remember the story of the little old Holocaust survivor who visited the US Holocaust Memorial Museum where she was given a card of a victim supposedly "gassed" with instructions to pretend that she was that victim - and to her utter amazement found her own name and stats on that card?
When I first heard that story, I couldn't believe it - and I must say I have never been able to track it down and check it out. But it's one of those tales that will later be called a "miracle" - a victim both dead and alive!

We had this discussion in one of our "in groups", and the question came up how many people actually visit the museum, because the claim is that 6 million already have. (There is that magic number again...)
One of our participants wrote:
Having been to the Holocaust Ministry of Hate building in Washington on three different occasions I would say some couple of thousands a day visit the place. That would make for a 365 day year over 700,000 a year. Most likely millions have visited the place.
Whether the poetic number of 6 million is correct is not the question. The big question is: Why do people visit it and what do they get from it? My personal observations are they couldn't give a damn one way or another and the biggest attraction is curiosity.
Once reported in The New American View, once put out by Victor Marchetti ex CIA person, was a complaint from a Jew who on his visit got a gut feeling about the little biographical cards the museum gives out telling the visitor about some victim. His suspicion was that many people simply threw away the cards on the spot.
The (visitor) said he checked out the trash cans and in fact found many of them on numerous searches. On my visit I checked it out and in about 15 minutes I collected over 15 of them. Those were just the ones on top of whatever else was in there.
The next day I checked them out again and got more. I also noticed that the cans, as with the day before, were only about 25% full. I asked one of the attendants there how often they empty the containers and was told about every half hour or so.
I took that to mean they didn't want any one noticing the discarded cards.
A couple of times I made remarks expressing suspicion about one thing or another and I could tell by the reactions that the young personnel get hit with some hostile remarks at times.
A second participant added:
I have also been to the USHMM and I notice that 95% or more are school kids from 4th grade on up who are on a field trip. The USHMM is just a stop on the tour.
If it was not a designated "place to go while in Washington" not many would go, I am afraid.

The second half covered his report on the Nazis gas chambers and the subsequent reprisals against him. I was amazed by the hatred shown towards him for questioning the 'accepted truth'.
I have just read the 'Report' on your Web site as a result of seeing this programme, and can see the logic of what he found at the concentration camps. I have also read the refutation on the Nizkor web site.
It is a sad day for Truth, History and Free Speech when people like Fred are persecuted for making known their honest opinions!
I have been to Jerusalem and visited the Holocaust museum. It was very melodramatic and theatrical - is that all it is?
