When I think of David, one of the Revisionist cyber warriors, I think of how little our enemy understands the force that is building beneath a volcano. Here is David in one of his essays, arguing with a Holocaust Enforcer who employed the usual diversion tactics in a cyber debate - in this case as follows:
"Why are you picking on poor Israel when, all along, what Israel has done is not that different from what everybody else has done?"
Writes David, all but seething:
"I do recall your comments that all countries were formed by taking the land from someone else and murdering or driving off the indigents, and that no one owns the country or the land, and, I presume by either extension or your comment, that this is how it will be in the future. This way and not some other way, as the man said.
I've said the next before too - don't know if you ever read it, let alone remember it. In 1944-45 the Allied powers engaged in a needless year's worth of destruction aimed at shattering both the infrastructure and will of the German nation - which is to say, both the ability and desire to ever wage war again.
They succeeded admirably in the first, had to kill another ten million or so in a brutal occupation afterward to complete the latter, but that was ultimately successful too, at least to this point.
Part of the neutering involved great show trials, said to have established new paradigms for international law and the allowable conduct of war. Leaders of the former German state and a number of members of the armed forces were tried and punished for their crimes, some of them invented after the fact.
The American legal teams in particular were staffed with an inordinate number of European Jews whose countries and people had been victimized by Germany, and who had been formulating the punishments for this since the time the war began. All the courts were ruthless in their application of these laws, just as the occupying armies and bureaucrats were ruthless in their tasks of subjugation and reeducation in the modern totalitarian sense developed to a fine art by communist regimes.
Among the newly deemed capital offenses were:
1. Waging "aggressive war" _ as opposed to passive?
Which means attacking another country first with the aim of seizing and keeping some or all of its territory. For that, the good guys of the world will now and in the future gather together and see that you hang.
2. Conspiracy to commit crimes against humanity - a mouthful of platitude that translates to legitimizing the previously explicitly forbidden aberration of justice where simple membership in an organization is considered proof of a crime, without regard for any other considerations.
(This) was modified in practice with the rationale that some members may have passively resisted by not participating in any aggressive acts toward prisoners in their care. But someone's testimony that you slapped a prisoner was sufficient to earn you the gallows.
3. The utterly preposterous mandate that "following orders" - something respected for thousands of years by all combatants as the most vital enabling component of any army and as honorable conduct on the part of the obedient - was no longer to be viewed as a shield against personal liability for any conduct.
These new guiding principles for the world were pursued aggressively against the Germans for the next twenty years, with the last round coming in the 1960s German state trials.
At the outset of all this, and through the thick of it, a new state was created. Israel was born by the maybe time-honored but now officially illegal method of the waging of aggressive war by the would-be new owners of the land, replete with continuous crimes against humanity, conspiratorially and independently committed.
Mass murder and expulsions of the indigent population have been both the birth and growing pains of this rump state, continuing right up to the present, and escalating of late.
Come we now to the case of my own country, America, created in a similar manner, but now grown up and possessed of an explicit moral code in a fierce way. How does America demonstrate commitment to uphold the Nuremberg principles forbidding aggressive war and crimes against humanity?
After the armed Jewish gangs - Irgun, Stern and others - launched their reign of terror, it took America only 11 minutes to extend the vital diplomatic recognition, which had to be obtained to insure the success of the venture and survival of the new nation. In the half-century since, America has turned a blind eye to any and every violation of those principles by Israel, and since 1967 has actively supported her politically, militarily and economically as the expansion by waging aggressive war and the murder and expulsion of the indigents continues, reducing our great claim to moral primacy to a sorry exercise in moral posturing with great selectivity.
This (was) done in collusion with a number of people who participated in draconian application of these principles against Germans, (and) then became officials in the new state and pursued the same courses that they had just helped hang others for.
You can tell me that this is the way of the world and that instances of it are scattered throughout the historical record as many times as you wish, that does not change the facts that
(a) my country has been indulging in one of the greatest hypocrisies ever committed on the world stage and
(b) is party to the commission of international capital crimes on an ongoing basis.

Thought for the Day:
Jerry Fallwell, leader of the now-defunct Moral Majority, a vociferous critic of Clinton and still an influential figure in the evangelical world, has pledged to mobilize more than 200,000 evangelical pastors to speak out in support of Netanyahu.
