Something momentous has happened in this struggle for Truth over lies!
Some of us in the inner circles of this struggle have long ago become convinced that what we see and feel in this Herculean intellectual wrestling match for the mind of Western man in the next century is not of this brief time and this fair world in which we find ourselves.
We're talking cosmic struggle. This is, as one observer put it some ten years ago, ". . . a war of beings." A war not of this world.
And for the record, here and now, what happened this past week is evidence that all is not yet lost - and that more is to come.
This is ironic, because as Ernst has put it wryly: "We're playing to an empty house! Not a member of the media in sight! " So panicky is our enemy, and so enormously revealing is the cracking, crumbling intellectual front of our opposition - as far as Ernst could tell, not a single reporter was there! Not even the Canadian Jewish News we all expected to crow like a rooster on a dung heap to advertise their Dr. Schweitzer, their main hatchet man - that Zionist puppet befouling his own people with nothing but vituperous polemics.
And nada?
The Schweitzer testimony was so utterly destroyed by what the Zundel team had culled in weeks and weeks of research and hauled into the courtroom in piles and piles of books, the media turned yellow and mum. For what was said in that courtroom last week was sheer historical and intellectual dynamite. ***And now it is on record!***
I have been as quiet as a mouse all week long, just taking bits and snippets that came my way from observers of that charade called "Human Rights Tribunal." I didn't want to interfere - but that momentous things were happening was very clear to me. I heard it in the timbre of the people who witnessed it and tried to speak of it.
Now there is one week's pause. Upon request, Ernst jotted down some thoughts. I will spread them out over this week to give you a feel for what happened. Here is the first installment:
"Ingrid, this is my report from the Northern Front. I am giving it to you in response to your questions for detail. You tell me you have spoken to others who were there, but I doubt that the full flavor of what actually happened could have been caught - or could have been put into words.
It was high drama all the way! I have never experienced anything like it!
I can only tell you that I am privileged beyond all measure that I, Ernst Zundel, a simple peasant from Germany's Black Forest, was privileged to be defended by Doug Christie, the finest constitutional lawyer of his generation.
For as long as I live, I will never forget this week!
If I achieve nothing more in my life but this - that through these disgusting, Soviet-style tribunal hearings these hitherto unknown facts of German-Jewish relations become known to the world - then before God and history, I will have helped our people to be exonerated in the eyes of the world as these transcripts of these proceedings find their way into the public domain!
For hours, my head was turned forward as I strained to hear Dr. Schweitzer, who speaks at times inaudibly - especially after he found out what devastating information was put on public record by Doug Christie - via Schweitzer himself! As the government's main witness!
We had, at first, planned to introduce some important passages taken from a book by Rabbi Michael Goldberg, titled "Why Should Jews Survive? Looking Past the Holocaust toward a Jewish Future." It was a strong book, but largely philosophical and theological. We soon chose to forego it in favor of the much more important and devastating information published by Tom Segev, the best known Israeli historian of this generation, who wrote "The Seventh Million".
This book is of much more interest to the world at large, but especially the German people - for it exposes the fraudulent "admission of guilt" for the Holocaust. Now we know why the guilt merchants wield it with such craven chutzpah every time a German victim might protests the endless genuflecting before a hoax while being forced to watch without protest how his own children's heritage gets looted.
Segev's book documents, once and for all, by what pressure and foul means that "admission of guilt" for the so-called "Holocaust" was extracted from that treacherous and traitorous puppet of the Allies, Germany's postwar chancellor, Konrad Adenauer. I will send you the quotes to cull material from as you see fit. It is all there, in black and white. I am sure that decent people everywhere, Jews and Germans as well as Americans and Canadians, will come to realize how cruelly they were deceived, manipulated and deliberately lied to for so many decades.
I could see the fear and panic creep up on our Jewish intervenors right in the courtroom in front of my own eyes! The frantic efforts and their shaking hands and trembling knees of all these learned lawyers for all these intervenors of all these predatory Lobby groups, trying to stop our avalanche of evidence, prove to me that my sacrifice and earlier humiliation were not in vain - and that, once more, I should be privileged to have witnessed through the courage and skill, the idealism and dedication of my attorney, Doug Christie - a man who is, as I believe with all my heart, the finest constitutional lawyer and champion of free speech of his generation in Canada!
It became crystal clear and will be on public record that the German people, especially our parents' generation, were much more victims than villains in that terrible tragedy that World War II became for all the people caught up in it. The evidence we have assembled is devastating! For me, the high point in these tribunal hearings has already passed. There is not much more that can be added to make the historical record any clearer or stronger.
The transcripts of these proceedings will go down in history as a mirror of a debauchment of a process supposedly designed to assure human rights for "minorities". What a joke! And what a travesty! Not that I think that a fair outcome can be had - at this point in the game. The puppets of the guilt merchants have no choice. They are beholden to the system that issues them their checks. More than one angry editorial in Canadian papers has said so! These people are expected to do a hatchet job on me - and chances are, they will.
It really does not matter. These transcripts will reveal the extent to which the best intentions, I suspect, of well-intentioned, liberal, democratic Canadian legislators have now been twisted out of shape - as an instrument not to protect human rights, but to bludgeon one man and one member of an intellectual minority that calls itself Historical Revisionism into submission to the all-powerful, agenda-driven ruthless state bureaucracy, which plies its nefarious, censorious trade - protected by the courts and aided and abetted by the censorship-happy police hate crimes units.
We all know this, That is why our goal is transcripts.
These transcripts are sheer gold. I will have to buy back my own attorney's words for about $2,000 - maybe even more - because lately even the copyright to public documents is claimed by these bureaucrats.
These transcripts will be worth it - every penny!
Let me state for the historical record:
Not anywhere in my studies of history and of historic trials, hearings, inquiries that I have ever come across a time where the concept of Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Thought, Freedom of Inquiry, Freedom of Debate, and the value of Truth - and not just Truth in history, but Truth in the abstract, Truth in everyday's life's applications, Truth as the foundation of all human endeavors and enterprises - has been more eloquently outlined, expressed, explained and defended than by Douglas Christie, my attorney, in that Tribunal Hearing room in Toronto, Ontario, Canada during the week of May 11 -15, 1998!
Doug Christie faced an ocean of vituperation - and there he stood and didn't give one inch!
I do not think that I am overstating the case when I say that I and my friends were present at one of the great moments in intellectual history of Western Civilization. I would put that week and that performance by Doug Christie on a par with the deliberations which led to the Magna Carta, or the intellectual and legal wrestling that gave birth to the American Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
That week will be seared in my memory forever! Every nuance! Every moment! I, the German son of simple peasants, consider it a privilege to have sat in that courtroom at that time - in Canada."
So much for today - just to give you a taste for what has happened, and what has now been put on public record. I asked Ernst with ice in my heart and trepidation in my voice if there was a chance that that valuable public record could just conveniently "disappear".
Ernst said he didn't think so - too much was at stake for the shysters. They could not afford to do something that foolish, that desperate and that transparent - for one, it would abort the hearings and expose them as never before!
Tomorrow, and all this coming week, I will bring you some of the actual quotes that Doug Christie succeeded in reading into the records and questioning the government's chief witness on, such as ". . . so truth is no defense . . . "?
Says who? Generations to come are going to judge this Tribunal - and find them sorely wanting, not unlike their medieval forerunners, the Tribunals of the unholy Inquisition!
