I still haven't received notice why a rather substantial shipment of
my trilogy, "Lebensraum!", was seized at the Canadian border as
being unfit for adult Canadians to read. Almost all of the small parcels
were either gifts to supporters of my work or review copies to media. Apparently
about half of the books went through, and the rest are being held for censorship
scrutiny.
This will be an interesting outcome. I am still trying to find out if a novel written by an American author has ***ever*** been stopped at the Canadian border. I really don't think so - but we shall find out soon.
Meanwhile, from Denmark comes word that a website, ( http://www.glistrup.com ) has been served with a notice this week stating that the government will instigate prosecution for breach of Section 266(b) of The Penal Code.
Section 266(b) forbids the circulation to the public of any message that is ". . . threatening, insulting or abusive" on the ground of "race, color, creed, faith, religion, ethnic or national origin or sexual orientation."
The person who owns this website apparently has said unpleasant things about Moslems and can expect a prison sentence.
The freedom of speech advocate - albeit no friend of the Zundelsite, as he has made abundantly clear - who sent this notice to the (largely armchair) fight-censorship group stated:
"This is the *first* Danish case addressing the issue of hate speech on the InterNet. Thanks to the immigration lobby for trampling on our freedom of expression."
Well, no. Thanks to Rabbi Cooper. Wasn't the good rabbi the one who worried out loud about the "proximity" of a website in Denmark to Germany? When will these cyber warriors stop kidding themselves? (You can tell I am still sore from having seen genuine American instincts at censorship encroachment extinguished so quickly in this once aggressive and valiant group that put up the Blue Ribbons to defend the Zundelsite! The moment the Nizkorites moved in and started shrieking "Nazi!" I'm sad to say, the bravery was gone! That's all it took to turn men into turtles!)
· From Sweden a comrade sent me a couple of very slick booklets (expensive!) that the government of Sweden has royally bestowed on the entire population to shore up the Holocaust Hoax. Since the publications are written in Swedish, I cannot understand the text, of course - but I looked at the pictures, and every one of them could have been taken during wartime of the ***German*** population. No way are these photographs proof that "genocide" took place!
· The Canadian Parliament, meanwhile, is also trying to outdo itself in "political correctness" and falling all over itself to please the Chosenites. Late yesterday I was informed that legislation has been introduced in Parliament that is supposed to do two things:
1) deport accused "war criminals" ***without a trial*** (!) and
2) deport non-Canadian citizens for "cyber crime" (!!!) of which they may be convicted in a third country like Red China, Singapore, Germany etc. (. . . as the Toronto Star noted in today's issue, (p. A22) "to countries or courts where they could face the death penalty!)
Ahmed Rami, a Moslem Moroccan residing in Sweden who runs the website Radio Islam, has already been charged by the French prosecutors for 2000 pages of material, some of it in French, which he has on his American-based website! Lucky for Rami - he does not live in Canada! Sweden does not have an extradition law as yet for "cyber crime" such as Canada will have in 6 to 8 weeks!
As I look at these developments, it becomes ever more evident that our "Neighbor to the North" is in more censorship doodoo than even we surmised.
I don't think I am overreaching to state we can expect an eventual public relations backlash if the concept of "freedom" has any meaning at all still in Canada. I believe that when this happens, it is going to make the Holocaust Hoaxers wish that they had never started this!
Especially this matter of sending back "war criminals" without giving them the benefit of a legal defense is going to cut into every European ethic group that emigrated to Canada after the war. The power-drunk Holocaust lobbyists might think they can ride roughshod over East Europeans forever - but there will be the straw that breaks the camel's back!
Most of these immigrants, if they had any men at all who managed to survive the Stalin horror, have now within their families old relatives who threw themselves in their brave youth against the savage Communist hordes who murdered and raped their way across Europe. In other words, it was ***civilized and thinking Europe*** that fought on Hitler's side, and for the most urgent of reasons. Some may have been drafted, but many, many volunteered, especially from the Ukraine and Baltic states.
To target these old men at this time, fifty years after the war - and let Israeli war criminals off the hook who killed tens of thousands of Lebanese and Egyptian soldiers in 1948, 1967, 1973 and in Sabra and Shatila in the 1980s because ". . . it happened all so long ago!" - is very, very foolish policy. It will rouse the wrath of every European ethnic group!
I was reading a (somewhat belatedly published) written by Maj. Joe Stano, USAF-Ret , that appeared in the April Issue of the Nationalist Times. It is a stinging summary of what will be in store for the United States eventually - if the United States decides to ape what is now being trial-ballooned in Canada.
Here speaks an old-time soldier:
"Ignorance is not bliss when it can lead to the destruction of freedom and the press in the United States. So allow me to enlighten one and all on an impending assault on our First Amendment Rights.
"During one of Bill Clinton's 'feel good frolics' stages for the news media and entitled the 'White House Conference on Hate Crimes', Clinton was joined by Abraham Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai Brith in calling for legislation to curb 'hate' like that now in effect in Canada. This proposal was given silent affirmation by the whole of the American news media, since no one in the press took the time or trouble to even examine this wonderful 'hate' legislation in Canada.
(Clarification: The so-called "hate law" is different from the Human Rights legislation. They play off each other and often cause the same effect, but legally there is a distinction. For instance, the British Columbia Human Rights Act, referred to below, does not as yet apply to all of Canada. The writer, as many of us, is a bit confused about the finer nuances of "hate law" legislation - all of which are odious!)
"For starters we have Bill 33, the amended Human Rights Act. It prohibits the publication of material that 'indicated discrimination' or is 'likely to expose a person or group or class of persons to hatred and contempt.'
"Think about it. It means that no one is allowed to say anything less than flattering about any person, or any group, or any class of people, or condemn any activity of same whatsoever.
"Have we forgotten that there are some pretty repulsive people on this planet engaged in some pretty loathsome practices who richly deserve to be condemned, held in contempt, shunned and discriminated against by decent people. Under Bill 33 all of this loathsome lot must be welcomed with open arms into everyone's society and it becomes an offense to even suggest otherwise or adversely comment in print. One must, under this crazy law, roll out the welcome wagon for every degenerate, every wacko on the lunatic fringe, and everyone involved in every crazy cult. Remember, the truth is no excuse for 'discrimination.'
"It gets a lot worse. The unfortunate Canadians are also saddled with Bill 32 that establishes the appointment of a 'Counsel of Human Rights' that is empowered by the government to seek out alleged human rights violations - even when there hasn't been a complaint! In short, Canada has now replicated George Orwell's 'thought police,' replete with two-bit tyrants out to justify their existence at the expense of freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
"Get this: The Council of Human Rights has the power to award the person discriminated against 'an amount that the board of inquiry considers appropriate to compensate that person for injury to dignity, feelings and self-respect.' And there is no limit on the amount of a prospective award!
"A newspaper might easily hurt someone's 'feelings' with a completely factual article to the extent that a very large award could easily put a small publication into retainership. Remember, the truth is no excuse for all the horrors of 'hurt feelings.'
"This legislation is clearly designed to intimidate the press. It is censorship under the threat of huge fines. Or, in the U.S., a protracted and very expensive battle in the courts against a government bureaucracy.
"The ADL has been lobbying for the right to censor ever since it came into existence, and Abe Foxman et.al. are quite willing to accept any form of censorship - as long as the ADL can take an active part in it. The Clinton Administration and the ADL are a match made in Orwell's 'Oceania.'
"This 'council' on 'hate' so favored by Clinton and Foxman is grossly unconstitutional. It makes a complete shambles of Articles V, VI and VIII of our Bill of Rights. Under this Canadian delight one would be judged by bureaucrats who have been appointed by a politician without recourse to our constitutional protections.
"It's little wonder that Clinton is so enamored of this 'hate legislation.' He's constantly whining about 'hate radio', and his 'hate legislation' would certainly solve his problem. One person's opinion is another's 'hurt feelings.' Or, in Bill's case, another's 'hate radio.' (...)
Today's historical truth is discarded for the warm comfort of Hollywood History where everything is in black and white - never an uncomfortable historical gray - and fiction is much preferred to the truth. (...)
Wouldn't it be nice if the American news media were to find the courage to demonstrate their allegiance to the First Amendment that they are always emoting about and tell Bill Clinton and Abe Foxman to shove their Orwellian censorship laws where the sun doesn't shine?"
So what does all this mean in practice? Those who run Hollywood, directly or indirectly, get to tell you their version of history. All the rest is classified "hate." Welcome to the New World Order!
