I have been busy all morning packing and shipping my beautiful "triplets" - the trilogy that is finally "ready to go"! Those of you who have pre-ordered at a discount ought to get your copies in the mail at the beginning of next week - the rest of you will want to order, right? It's been a true labor of love. Now we have a tool that is ***mainstream*** and gets away from the statistics, measurements and dusty documents. I am so happy I could cry!
And speaking of support, many thanks to all of you who have stayed the course and sent in your support. It looks like I will need it for a while yet. All indications are that, in censorship-happy Canada, the Canadian Human Rights Commission and the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal kommissars are loathe to give up even one inch of their power.
I don't know many details yet about what transpired today in the Tribunal hearings, but it seems that our enemies know they are now knee-deep in doodoo - after two stunning court rulings in the last three weeks against the CHR Tribunals - and will have a tough time climbing out.
The Toronto Globe and Mail said as much in an article by Kirk Makin, justice reporter, who covered Ernst's 1985 trial in an exemplary and balanced manner:
"A human rights case affecting thousands has been thrown into doubt by a court decision last week that the Canadian Human Rights Commission cannot be viewed as an impartial tribunal.
"The pay-equity case - affecting about 100,000 past and present federal civil servants - has been in litigation for eight years.
"It could result in a settlement of back wages amounting to billions of dollars.
"'It is, by far, the biggest human rights case ever,' said Bill Pentney, a lawyer for the commission. 'I think Canadians would be shocked to know how big it is.' (...)
"The case has already consumed 300 hearing days, so the costs and delay of a rehearing would be enormous. Last fall, the federal Treasury Board offered to settle the case with the Public Service Alliance of Canada for $1.3 billion. The offer has not been accepted, and a ruling by the commission is expected this summer."
And further down, speaking of your worthy Zundelsite:
"One of the most vulnerable cases involves an attempt by the Canadian Jewish Congress and other groups to stop Ernst Zundel from posting material on the Internet that denies the Holocaust occurred.
"A tribunal will hear arguments today from Mr. Zundel's lawyer, Doug Christie, asking it to quash the case based on the McGillis decision.
"'It looks as if it is a very strong possibility that will happen,' said Moshe Ronen, chairman of the CJC's Ontario region. (...)
"Mr. Pentney said 34 human rights tribunals are currently in motion. He said the commission is taking the position that each tribunal should continue its work unless it is challenged by one of the parties to it under the McGillis decision.
"'It's all kind of a moving target,' Mr. Pentney said."
So they will want to hang on to their favorite villain - and while they are at it, all kinds of things will land in the transcripts, exactly as has happened before.
Last night I was rereading Mark Weber's review of the Lenski book, "Holocaust on Trial", which describes the 1988 disaster that befell our enemies, because that trial gave birth to the Leuchter Report.
(For newcomers only: Ernst sent American gas chamber expert, Fred Leuchter, to forensically examine the supposed "killing sites" in Auschwitz and Maidanek, and have the soil and rock samples tested in America, which led to the much translated and world-wide published and distributed Leuchter Report)
Weber writes, and it is apropos today as it was a decade ago:
"The German-born defendant never intended to devote several years and enormous effort to the Holocaust issue. A passionate German nationalist, Zundel has regarded these Holocaust trials as an unintended but unfortunately necessary detour from what he sees as his mission: restoring a sense of purpose, pride and confidence to his beloved German people.
"It is now obvious that government officials and Jewish community leaders badly miscalculated when they decided to go after Zundel because - as Lenski's book makes it abundantly clear, Holocaust Revisionism has been immeasurably strengthened as a result of these trials. Apparently viewing him as little more than a bigoted simpleton, his adversaries grossly underestimated Zundel's intelligence, skill and perseverance, and did not anticipate his ability to assemble and hold together a team of loyal and talented supporters. (...)
"(F)ree speech is not quite free in Canada. Regardless of one's views about the Holocaust issue, or even of Zundel, any open-minded reader of 'The Holocaust on Trial' will appreciate the significance of this trial for the issue of free speech.
"Contrary to what the Canadian government has insisted all along, this was unquestionably a 'free speech' case, as even the New York Times acknowledged in a rare American newspaper report on the trial. . . It is no exaggeration to say that the Zundel trial was one of the most important tests in many years of fundamental legal rights in North America."
Well, that was then, and now is now. The conventional myth known as "The Holocaust" is deader than the proverbial door nail, as any Revisionist-versed person knows. And that there are still many who need to catch up with what has been said and compiled over the years, is merely a symptom of the Orwellian sickness the world is trying to shake off.
Since the issue, as per Judge McGillis, is now "apprehension of bias" - who else but Mr. Zundel can make that very point? If those fools want their dirty laundry in the records, taken down stitch by stitch - available for generations yet unborn, not only in Canada but world-wide - let them move right ahead!
Writes Ernst in his April Power letter:
"The double standard in these abusive proceedings is so glaring, it is sheer arrogance in power by all concerned. However, we say in German, quoting some Biblical passage, that the crock goes to the well till it breaks. So it will be in this case!
"The Human Rights commissars and all the parasites who feed off this evil industry will have their days and time in courts, but also in the court of history and of public opinion. I will not let these disgusting proceedings go unnoticed or unreported . . . those political appointees of former party hacks will find out that there exists today an alternative information dissemination network, which will not and cannot protect them from having their one-sided and immoral decisions scrutinized, analyzed and publicized.
"The CHRC has been fighting and delaying our attempt to have a regular court look at their legally questionable methods and procedures tooth and nail, quite apart from their behaviors and the outright lying some of them have engaged in. They seemed to fear our Judicial Review application like the devil fears the holy water or the crucifix.
"This week it became evident why. They were already under scrutiny by the Federal Court of Canada in two other cases because of alleged institutional bias, lack of "arms-length" in their make-up and thus being perceived as being partial etc. They had obviously thrown their weight around once too often-this time with Canada's giant Bell Telephone Company, who went after the CHRC with hammer and tongs.
"This huge corporation had the budget and a huge law firm to do it!
"On March 23, '98, Madam Justice Donna McGillis of the Federal Court of Canada in Ottawa issued a blistering ruling which should shake things up with these politically biased, predatory and parasitic Human Rights Commissions once and for all!
"Whatever they might do to me-they won't get around the McGillis/Bell Canada decision!"
Did he say biased, predatory and parasitic?
Listen: According to today's Globe and Mail write-up, we learned a lot we didn't know last week.
What fools these people are against their better judgment to keep right on with the most biased, predatory and parasitic pseudo-trial since the last two Zundel-Trials in 1985 and 1988 of Canada - in full view of the public!
Those trials were still pre-Internet!
In the last 24 hours, 11,700 documents were accessed on the Zundelsite. Add to that what was accessed on the 20+ mirror sites, which exist globally, and you get an idea why Ernst shocked talk show host, Michael Coren, last night on Canada's largest audience call-in program. Ernst told the host of "The Michael Coren Show" on Toronto's powerful CFRB Radio that he had been given estimates that, so far, over 12 million documents had been looked at by people on all the Zundelsite-mirrors around the world!
There was a moment of stunned silence - and shortly thereafter, Ernst was cut off.
