I have been getting so many letters from students regarding research help - many of them barely into Junior High - that I began to be suspicious if maybe some of the powers-that-be were trying to set me up for corrupting the world's youth with some historical truth.
Some letters are simply magnificent, and for the most part I choose to believe them, being blessed with a benign nature that usually takes things at face value.
If the letter below, coming from Sweden, is not genuine, it has nonetheless made my day. I choose to think it is genuine. What do you think? This student wanted to compare "Schindler's List" against Revisionist facts and proudly present his independent research to his teacher.
Here goes:
Dear Ms Rimland,
Many thanks for your swift reply, much appreciated. I am sure you are very, very busy. Therefore I am not at all surprised that *you* cannot do the research for those who ask you for information. The research aspect of writing a paper is one of the more challenging parts, hence, I enjoy it. It gets tough though...
The Student Revisionist's site turned out to be very useful. By using their search engine I located several documents in which I found valuable information from the "other side". When I will deliver this paper to my history teacher, having compared the film with the history books and with the revisionist's ideas, he will be amazed.
Fortunately my teacher is very open-minded, and has an *interest* in revisionism. He will give me no quarrel. In fact, a couple of mo(n)ths ago we were assigned to write an article on the European witch-craze. Included in this was the question: "Are there any similar witch-crazes taking place in our time?"
It felt natural to mention Mr Zundel and the entire revisionist - for lack of a better word - "community". A good friend in Germany who is extremely well read on revisionism, advised me *NOT* to make this comparison, considering the dire consequences it may have resulted in.
But, it worked and the teacher understood what I meant, however, he didn't necessarily agree since, I quote his words, "the slaughter of Jews *and* communists is one of the most well documented in history." What about today's slaughter of the German's? I thought to myself.
I have a strong interest in revisionsim, and want to dedicate more time to it. It's a very intricate subject - not to mention dangerous - and by studying it it gives me many an enemy.
The "core" of my interest is the thing about how many Jews and Jewish organizations tend to monopolize free speech and the ability to critisize, claiming an almost "aristocratic privilege" on truth (& the right to express it), and thereby more or less dismissing the chances for the "ordinary" people of our society to acquiring information on revisionism. Thank [insert choice] for the Internet!
Oh, I just remembered a national happening that I felt I had to tell you. The Swedish government has released a pamphlet on the Holocaust, free to all Swedish families. 100 000 copies has been printed, but due to an unexpected demand, thousands more will be printed.
The reason for this pamphlet, or magazine, was that during an investigation conducted by an independant institute of statistics, the fact that 5 out of 10 kids in the 9th grade (15 years old) believed the Holocaust never took place saw the light of day.
The Swedish prime minsiter - Göran Persson, was so proud of this that the sent a letter to the *German* and *ENglish* governments telling them about it. This from a man representing a country that was (officially) neutral during WWII! Bill Clinton also received a letter from the socialist Göran Persson, and replied saying it was an admirable accomplishemnt. Maybe you have heard about this already?
"I am wondering if you know how to use site-specific search engines, which are extremely useful for students searching for specific information.", you wrote. I am afraid I don't know eaxctly. I am not sure I have seen any such search engines, that is, if the The Student Revisionist's Resource Site's wasn't such a search-engine.
Oh, *800* ZGrams? Marvellous! When I sought info using the above mentioned search engine, your newsletters, which are always very intriguing and well-written, were among many of the search results. I can't for the life of me understand how you have the time? You make me feel slow and lazy, ha-ha!
I better let you go now, I s'pose. Thanks for your help & time and keep that fire burning!
Sincerely

P.S I just remembered a quote from an Ingemar Bergman film, "The Magician". It is: "Those who tell the truth are often branded as the worst liars.". An obvious truth that would deserve a spot in a future ZGram.
Which shall be your thought for the Day!
