Good Morning from the Zundelsite:
The latest word is that UNESCO has now been marshalled to shore up the
sagging image of the Holocaust Myth.
A comrade overseas sent me the following, titled "Are we getting towards
an arranged edition of the Auschwitz lie?" It requires a response
on your part. Here it is:
"We have been told for quite a while that the Auschwitz
site needed restoration. We have also been told that some drawings or some
pieces had been found recently - but what exactly?
"We also know that UNESCO (the Paris-based organization) decided long
ago to list the site of Auschwitz among the protected world heritage monuments.
"Today we learn that UNESCO will see to it that the Auschwitz camp
is "rebuilt, in a virtual way, for future generations".
"An Italian friend of mine faxed me yesterday an article of the Italian
weekly 'Panorama' (26 February 1998, p. 94-97) with the following title:
'Operazione memoria' (Operation Memory). The author is Valeria Gandus.
"Here is the introductory paragraph, translated from Italian:
"Today (Auschwitz) is almost in a neglected state. Wrecked by Nazis
and deniers. Occupied by improper buildings. But, thanks to the work of
an Italian man, the symbol camp of the Holocaust will be restored and preserved
by UNESCO. And rebuilt, in a virtual way, for future generations."
"The Italian expert chosen by UNESCO for the project and control of
the process is an Italian historian and researcher, Marcello Pezzetti, 'one
of the biggest world experts' about Auschwitz.
"According to the paper, one of the main objectives of UNESCO is to
purchase the new place which Mr Pezzetti identified as being that of Bunker
1. Then it will restore Krema 2 and 3 - no particular details given.
"Now, here is an important passage of the article - again a translation:
"Now there is another objective in the UNESCO project, which is the
rebuilding of the ventilation installation, and such a process would conclusively
refute the thesis of the deniers. The drawings which have been found in
Auschwitz show the installation in detail, and parts of it have been found
in the warehouses together with other important pieces such as the small
airtight windows through which the Zyklon B pellets were poured in."
"But the task of UNESCO will also include some multimedia projects
in order to make people 'understand and watch, in a virtual way, what happened
in that place'.
"I suppose you know Dr Faurisson's 26 January 1998 article about the
Auschwitz I 'gas chamber' - it was published by Fred Toben ( Ed: of the
Revisionist website, the Adelaide Institute ) in his March issue.
"Let me quote the end again.
"Appeal to UNESCO:
"The entire Auschwitz complex is registered by UNESCO as a protected
world heritage site. Some countries of the Arab-Islamic world, irritated
by the prosecution in France of Roger Garaudy for having called the gas
chambers into question, could, if the latter were convicted on 27 February
1998, bring an action at UNESCO for the case of the emblematic "gas
chamber" at Auschwitz I; they might, at the same occasion, demand a
forensic examination of the remains of the gas chamber at Auschwitz-Birkenau's
crematorium II; the caved-in roof of this gas chamber has visibly never
possessed any of the four special 25 by 25 cm (9 7/8 in.) holes which, we
are told, were meant to allow the pouring in of the Zyklon B pellets. That
being the case, how could an execution gassing operation simply have begun?"
"Remember: 'No holes, no 'Holocaust' ? -
"Dr Faurisson had a good nose. Not knowing, of course, about the soon-to-be-published
article of "Panorama" of February 26, Dr Faurisson had sent a
fax three days before, on February 23, to the president of UNESCO, Federico
MAYOR, in order to draw his attention to the fact that the Auschwitz I "gas
chamber" was not only a "reconstruction" (F. Piper had simply
told David Cole that it was 'very similar' to the original one), but that
it was altogether a fake (which he himself had proved 'in the late 70's',
as historian Eric Conan recognized).
"Dr Faurisson suggests that all the revisionists send a protestation
letter about the Auschwitz I 'gas chamber' lie, by faxing to the president
of UNESCO Mr. Federico Mayor (33 1 45 68 55 55) or to the director of the
Auschwitz State Museum, Mr Jerzy Wroblewski (48 33 43 18 62).
"Just imagine how those people would feel if they received hundreds
of letters of people telling them they read Eric Conan's and also Jan van
Pelt/Deborah Dwork's findings and that UNESCO should no longer answer for
such falsifications!"
When I asked Ernst, ". . . Do you want to put your inimitable spin
on this one?" he wrote:
"Ask someone to find out all the stuff we can about
Marcello Pezzetti - I bet he is a Marxist from way back! Especially his
ethnic background and religious affiliation would be interesting.
"My spin? The U.N. is firmly in the hands of the New World Order people.
Therefore, we really should be working with Third World nations.
"They have the majority of votes with a coalition of Third World U.N.
delegates. We could topple their power. What we need is the money to have
people permanently in New York.
"Ask if someone would be willing to finance such a U.N. Liaison Office
. . . I have the Third World people friends who feel the way we do . .
. "
I'm asking.
