To my friends around the world!
First my apologies for being late with this newsletter-later than I have been in years! The reasons are manifold.
First, a victory! The Zündel Legal Team has another important procedural victory to report in the Federal Court of Canada against the attempted intervention by the Canadian Human Rights Commission, which had wanted full status and asked to participate in the case as a full party with the opportunity to file evidence, examine witnesses, and make submissions in the case we brought against them.
We filed an accusation of them being biased and for having excercised wrong discretion. The Judge saw it our way and only allowed them the narrow permission to defend their claims to jurisdiction in this case. He gave the commission two weeks to apply to a Federal Judge for direction on the procedure to be followed. At the time of this writing, we have had no word if the Commission did that.
This means that our magnificent Zündel Legal Team can now concentrate on defeating the main attack against us. This will, of course, save thousands of dollars in flight costs, research and legal fees as we head into these disgusting, unfair, draining and expensive Human Rights Tribunal Hearings to defend our civil and human rights.
Sensational Development: The Mounties find their men!
Friends and reporters asked me after the May 7, 1995 arson of my house and business in Toronto, and the May 16, 1995 assassination attempt by parcel pipe bomb, if I thought the police would ever catch the criminals responsible for these acts of terrorism.
For instance, Kevin Alfred Strom interviewed me shortly after these events on the National Alliance's program "American Dissident Voices". I expressed to him at the time, when my building was still reeking of soot and smoke, my conviction that Canada's Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and Toronto Police would do their duty as professional cops and turn over heaven and earth to catch the criminals. My political/historical outlook would not deter them in their search.
I was right - or was I? We'll have to wait and see.
It took the Police longer than I expected, but an important break occurred recently. The Canadian Mounties seem to have concentrated on the acts of preparing and sending the AIDS-tainted razor blades (part of a larger terrorist offensive) which were sent to 21 people all across Canada, along with threatening communiques and letters.
Ten mousetraps with razor blades affixed were also sent, by persons unknown, to people in all parts of Canada and the USA. More importantly, four people were actually sent powerful parcel pipe bombs, filled with large construction nails which were to act as shrapnel - as you remember, I was one of these parcel pipe bomb recipients.
I received a mousetrap and threatening letter on April 13, 1995. I reported it to the press and media as well as the police-all of whom acted rather slowly-or not at all.
Only after my house was torched and the resultant fire caused $400,000 in damage to my building and business, and my neighbour incurred $200,000 in damages in the same fire, did the authorities get busy.
The media rubbed their hands in glee at my misfortune-the hatred fanned by their irresponsible journalism and one-sided character assassination had finally created a lynch mob atmosphere in Toronto!
Little did the public know then that the much-vilified Ernst Zündel was only one of MANY targets-true, the most high-profile among the victims!-but others, who did not share my views on history, were targets of terrorism as well.
Sick, deranged anarchist-Marxists and their paymasters and hidden handlers were about to unleash a campaign of terror across Canada-the likes of which Canada had never experienced before in its entire existence!
Our "electronic intelligence department", relying on the Internet and following extensive leftist-Marxist-anarchist links-as we pointed out in newsletter # 211 of October 15, 1996-produced insights into the workings, the organizational structures and interconnections among these leftist groups which, in the end, helped crack the case and will undoubtedly also help in leading to the arrest and conviction of the bombers.
I have to admit that I had never fully appreciated the awesome resource the Internet represents to someone knowing what to look for and where.
Night after night, week after week, dedicated Zündel-Haus researchers surfed the Net like electronic Sherlock Holmeses. Thousands of sheets were printed out-and now our findings can be told and will be shared with members of the press and, more importantly, law enforcement people.
We knew we were coming close to the bombers! In retrospect, internal notes and letters to law enforcement agencies reveal that our research was dead on! We had even named the organizations which would be involved and pinpointed their geographic location, ideological backgrounds etc.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, meantime, was involved in what has to be one of the most intensive, in-depth surveillance and investigative operations across the country that I know about in my 38 years in Canada!"
(end of Power letter excerpt)
Tomorrow and for the next few days, I am going to give you a condensed version
of a 63 page Search Warrant document, obtained through confidential sources,
that will prove to be the bane of what we like to call the "Hidden
Hand" behind so many governments - what ever more people in the so-called
"democratic" Western world are calling the Invisible Government.
Read on, and be chilled to the core!

Thought for the Day:
"My most recent shot was on a CBC Newsworld debate with Sol Littman, a propagandist from the Simon Wiesenthal Institute who dines out on the Holocaust and accuses me of being 'an agent of neo-Nazis.' In this game, anything goes."
