Good Morning from the Zundelsite:

A few days ago, I received a fax from Ernst with the scribbled note: "After all, how often do you get a government to specifically change the law to get one man?"

He was referring to a Globe & Mail, Feb 21, 1997, headlined: "Closing of entry loophole nears: Zundel case spurred plans for change."

I am quoting a few select paragraphs below:

"The government moved yesterday to close a loophole in the Citizen and Immigration acts that affects cases in which national security is invoked to deny a person entry to Canada or citizenship.

The loophole came to light in a case before the Federal Court last summer involving Holocaust-denier and Nazi sympathizer Ernst Zundel.

Amendments to the acts tabled in the Commons by Citizenship and Immigration Minister Lucienne Robillard would permit cabinet to appoint a judge to replace the Security Intelligence Review Committee in some cases involving national security when the committee cannot fulfill its mandate "because of the appearance of bias, a conflict of interest or any other reason."

Translated, here is what that means, as many of you will remember:

Last summer, the Security Intelligence Review Committee, (SIRC), a corrupt government agency commissioned to help railroad Ernst Zundel out of Canada and right into a waiting prison in Germany for asking "Did Six Million Really Die?" was caught red-handed in some unsavory political shenanigans, and a fair judge halted the proceedings.

Now the Canadian government is at it again - this time by patching up the law.

The Globe & Mail article goes on to say:

"The government is concerned that if the review committee cannot act for some reason or terminates its investigation without making a recommendation, the minister may be forced to grant citizenship to someone it believes to be a threat to national security."

And wouldn't that be a tragedy for the Holocaust Promotion Lobby if that would indeed come pass! Back to the drawing board it was!

As per the Globe & Mail article:

"Mr. Zundel is an immigrant from Germany who has made no secret about his views about the Holocaust. He has been accused of distributing hate literature and was recently the centre of controversy when the government of Germany banned his internet site because it was deemed to propagate Nazi and extreme right wing ideology."

Note that they talk about the Zundelsite. And we weren't "banned" - eight of our posts were declared "hazardous to minors" because they were deemed "ethically disorienting" - which means that, in the German context, historical truth is "disorienting" to Germany's poor and brainwashed youth. Not to believe in the Jewish/Goldhagen version of the "Holocaust" gets you five years in prison!

What does this latest really mean?

It means that Ernst Zundel is airing out the scatological aroma of foul and vulgar Western politics, based on the "Holocaust". Big time. The shield behind which barnyard politics took place for more than half a century will soon be up global public scrutiny. The dig will soon be up.

Will this happen without calling forth vicious resistance?

One of Ernst's supporters wrote recently:

"Not too long ago, it was the whole German nation that was responsible for all the 'hate' and 'anti-Semitism' in the world. Twice the world went to war to destroy the Germans. Now it is only one man who becomes a danger to the whole world - and he happens to be a German.

It seems to be a problem for the Jewish community in Canada and around the world to silence this one man. It seems much easier to start a war and destroy a whole nation than to silence and destroy one man. . . "

Here now, recorded for posterity, is additional evidence of the extent to which Canada will go to blacklist Ernst Zundel from asking: "Did Six Million Really Die?"

THE CURRENT LAWS OF CANADA ARE NOW TO BE AMENDED TO HAVE EFFECT RETROACTIVELY - JUST TO GET ZUNDEL OUT!

Amazing.

Below is the new legislation, as outlined in a Canadian Government press release - the latest from the ruling oligarchy to oust the stubborn dissident Ernst Zundel.

Study this press release carefully. Pay close attention to the milksop hypocrisy. Pay also close attention how they so carefully protect their own. It's a KGB outfit at work:

Canadian Government Press Release
February 20, 1997
Amendments to the Citizenship Act and the Immigration Act

Ottawa -- Lucienne Robillard, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration and MP for Saint-Henri-Westmount, has just introduced a Bill to amend the Citizenship Act and the Immigration Act. These legislative amendments are designed to protect Canada's national security.

The amendments will make it possible for the Governor in Council to appoint a judge to replace the Security Intelligence Review Committee (SIRC) when the Committee is of the opinion that it cannot fulfill its mandate because of the appearance of bias, a conflict of interest or any other reason. Without these amendments, the Minister could be obliged to grant citizenship to a person who might be a threat to our national security.

"Canada is a welcoming country, but Canadians would not tolerate - and will never tolerate - anyone abusing their generosity or endangering their health and safety. We cannot and we must not grant Canadian citizenship to people who pose a threat to national security," Ms. Robillard stated.

These legislative changes guarantee the protection of basic human rights under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Attached is a list of the highlights of the bill.

Highlights:

The key highlights of the Bill are:

If the Security Intelligence Review Committee (SIRC) is of the opinion that it cannot fulfill its mandate, it terminates its investigation and informs the Minister and the person being investigated.

A retired judge of an upper level jurisdiction may be appointed to act in place of the SIRC when the committee cannot fulfill its mandate as set out under the Citizenship Act or the Immigration Act.

The Governor in Council may appoint a retired higher court judge for a period of three to five years to perform the functions set out in subsections 19(4), (5) and (6) of the Citizenship Act, and in subsections 39 (5) and (6) to (10), as well as in subsections 81 (4) and (5) to (8) of the Immigration Act.

The Minister may assign cases for which the SIRC has terminated its investigation to the appointed person.

The Bill contains an interim provision to cover court decisions regarding the SIRC's ability to perform its function, rendered before the Bill came into effect. However, the decision must be final and without appeal.

Similar amendments are being made to sections of the Immigration Act to correct situations in which SIRC may be unable to fulfill its role in the issuance of security certificates in cases of permanent residents who pose serious security threats to Canada and persons of serious security concern who are making appeals against removal decisions or family reunification via decisions on the basis of special circumstances."

(end of press release)

To which Ernst Zündel comments:

"To assign a 'retired judge' means the government of Canada and the forces behind the government can hand-pick their hatchet man and move the case to the top of the line - otherwise they would have to wait until a regular judge became available to hear the case, which would be a much fairer procedure to me. And the 'final and without appeal' provisions mean that the Government wants to block the way for a judicial review by the Supreme Court, should this become necessary."

You see how it is done? The government appoints one man. Their choice. What he decides is final and without appeal. The highest court in Canada is now no longer reachable. On to the Gulags, mister!

Right? Not without a struggle.

You can help. Write to protest this retroactive legislation:

The Hon. Lucienne Robillard
Minister of Citizenship and Immigration
365 Laurier Ave., West
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
K1A 1L1

Thought for the Day:

"This won't be the first time I've arrested somebody and then built my case afterwards."
