September 5, 1966
Good Morning from the Zundelsite:
- There has been a new but expected development in the continuing saga
of the persecution of Ernst Zundel insisting on his right to say: "Did
Six Million Really Die?"
- On September 3, one of his attorneys, Doug Christie, was notified that
there will be an appeal by the Canadian Government to the Federal Court
of Appeal in response to Judge Heald's ruling that SIRC cease the KGB-type
hearings. No date has yet been set.
- For those who are late to this Zundel-Watch, details can be found at
the Zundelsite, http;//www.webcom.com/ezundel/english/ It is a complex
story of a country willing to spend millions and millions of perfectly
good taxpayers' money to get one German to quit talking about legitimate
concerns about the "Holocaust".
- I finally had a chance to watch the Famous Irving Tape that everybody
talks about - I don't know if it has a title - and I must say I am impressed.
Students are using it to introduce Revisionism to their professors by simply
asking them ". . . for your opinion." They are reporting good
results. If you are a student, you might want to look into this idea. The
tape can be bought, I believe, for $20 by writing for further information
to justin49@mail.nwlink.com
- And speaking of students' efforts, I promised I would help them by
finding volunteers to translate about 20 double-spaced pages of a Revisionist
Primer into as many languages as possible. Anyone? I already have a translation
in Japanese. Please only those who have a good linguistic feel, for this
is an important document, and it is imperative to stay as close as possible
to the original. Ask me for further information. We need all the languages
we can get.
- CODOH International, http://www.codoh.com/ forwarded this reader letter
to us because it typical of so many brand new Holocaust skeptics:
- ". . . Before reading your material, and looking at some
of the other revisionist websites, I hadn't seriously questioned the validity
of the "orthodox" view of the Holocaust. I had thought that the
only people questioning the Holocaust were Neo-Nazis, KKK, skinheads, etc.,
out to promote a Zionist-dominated-one-world-government conspiracy theory.
(To be fair, some of 'em are.) The fact that the Nazis and the KKK believe
that something is fishy about the Holocaust, doesn't prove or disprove
its historical validity.
- Many people uncritically accept the prevailing view of the
Holocaust as gospel, even given the lamentable history of governments and
special interest groups promoting the most outrageous propaganda for self-serving
purposes, especially during wartime.
- I try to keep an open mind, to always question the "conventional
wisdom" on any topic. Your site certainly provides food for thought.
Put me down as newly skeptical about the Holocaust, at least as it is typically
promoted.
- It takes a lot of courage to stand up against the "conventional
wisdom" and subject yourself to slurs and attacks for something you
believe in. . . "
- Another, more seasoned reader, reports a recent victory pertaining
to the tallying of Politically Incorrect Thought at Nizkor:
- ". . . I haven't yet received any response to my question
about the strange way Nizkor keep(s) track of people's posts here, but
for a while, I was looking at my name in the people directory: it happened!
- I broke the 1 Meg barrier recently. I joined A. Baron, Tom
Moran, M. Giwer and a couple of others in the millionaire club (while Matt
may have join(ed) it after a month).
- This is an important moment in my life, perhaps as much as
when I swam a 100 meters below 1 minute 15 seconds.
- Happy megabyte to ya . . ."
- And finally, one of our regular media folks sent me this little gem:
- ". . . A children's poem that made an impression on me as a boy
was Christina Rossetti's "What are Heavy?" (She was the sister
of Dante Gabriel Rossetti, the superb painter of the Pre-Raphaelite school
about 100 years ago, whose work expresses the Aryan spirit in so many ways.)
- What are heavy?
Sea-sand and sorrow.
What are brief?
To-day and to-morrow.
What are frail?
Spring blossoms and youth.
What are deep?
The ocean and truth.
- Let that be your Thought of the Day.
Ingrid
